Rex, Sammie, Lucas, Kate, Nicole and Tony DiMera. There might be someone I've missed, but I think that's it. My personal feeling is it'll be none of the above. Probably the freak that kidnapped Hope last summer, then took the fall (for a price) for Nicole when she killed Colin. Can't remember his name. Edited to add the freak's name is Larry Welch. I knew I'd think of it sooner or later.

I love all soaps. I have watched DOOL off and on since I was five. I am so saddened that they are killing off the veterans. If you want to know who is next, check out TV Guide online and you an find who is next.Personally, I think Rex is a red herring. There is no way he is the murderer. I have two suspects. Tek and Adrienne, I mean Bonnie, Mimi's mom. Tek because he is integrating well into Salem. Bonnie, because they have established that it is someone that everyone knows. Another actress portrayed Mimi's mom a few years ago and she was introduced to all of Salem then.\ This story will be going through the spring. And a little spoiler, it's a good week for Sami and Lucas fans....

He just got fired from GH, so maybe he will come back. Kayla though, she has a recurring role on ATWT which is filmed on the East Coast. She rocks there too. Speaking of Alice, they better keep her on. They FIRED the 90 year old Anna Lee, Lila on GH. She is on maybe once a month and they fired her. That's just wrong.

I think Joe Mascolo recently signed a contract there so he is staying. However, in SOD a while ago, they did a swap. The actress who plays Kate used to be Margo there. She appeared for a day there. They agreed that Stefano would come back for a breif time. He never did. This may be when they allow him back.I thought about this too. What if the killer is Hope? She was brainwashed by him. What if she was "activated" again and Stefano came back to de-brainwash her. Just an idea. I am still saying Tek or Adrienne I mean Bonnie. What is up with them bringing back actors who played other characters?

Some think that means Roman is still alive, but they're trying to figure out how to explain his ghost appearing to Celeste.- There's quite a bit of speculation that Marlena is the killer. Not Hattie posing as Marlena, but Marlena. - In Soap Opera Digest, the producer said he's going to be hated for the last killing, because of who will die. Most people think that points to Hope. There is a rumor that Frances Reid has agreed to be let out of her lifetime contract and that Alice will instead be the final victim, but more folks believe the Hope rumors. Yup, when the Salem Slasher (aka Chris Kosticheck's brother Jake) was on a killing spree, it looked like Marlena was one of his victims. Fans picketed the studio until it was revealed that her twin sister Samantha had been the victim instead. It was a credible way out, since Deidre Hall's real-life twin sister had been appearing every once in a while as Samantha, so it wasn't just a last minute rewrite.A few years back, Days brought back Andrea Hall-Lovell again, this time to play Hattie, a look-alike that Stephano was going to substitute for the real Marlena. Some have speculated that the switch has taken place, and that Hattie's the killer instead of Marlena, but spoiler information tends to refute that. For one thing, James Reilly specifically said that the killer is a major character, and there's no way Hattie could be considered a main character.

I thought Lexie might have been the killer for a long time. (spoilers have made me think differently) My theory was that Nicole killed Abe (over the whole Colin thing)and Lexie's guilt over their recent separation and her grief over losing Abe just when she had got him back sent her over the edge. I thought because everyone (with the exception of Cassie) was part of a super-couple (past or present) her grief drove her to kill off one of the spouses in these happy marriages because she lost her spouse. It was the old, "if I can't be happy no one can" motive. But, as many people pointed out to me, Bo and Hope's attack at the fashion show didn't fit into my theory so I was de-bunked! (and if the spoilers are correct, rightly so).
But although she's probably not the killer, I think something is up with her telling Jennifer that she could die if she doesn't get rid of her baby. I personally think that Lexie is lying because she's jealous that Jennifer is pregnant and she's not. The whole thing just seemed really fishy to me.
And since when has Lexie become super-doc!? She's an OB, she's a pediatrician, she's the brain-dead specialist, she's basically the only doctor in that hospital! Come on DOOL bring back Mike so Lexie doesn't have work on EVERY SINGLE PATIENT! No wonder she went crazy!

I get to watch it about once every two weeks. Today was one of those days. All I could think of while watching the girls screaming and screeching in the tiger cage was "could this get any cheesier". And it did get cheesier. The whole montage of Celeste "seeing" through the Slasher's eyes was bad. Just plain bad. I was actually looking forward to Passions coming on. And I think Passions is so bad it's pathetic, but it's currently better than DOOL.

They did do the big reveal today. Of course it was in the last 10 seconds of the show. Tony looked up and said "I knew it was you" but apparently Salem doesn't find out yet who the killer is. What I found stupid was the fact that the security guard had no idea who she was. I mean, she has been walking around and seen with everyone else in Salem, yet he doesn't recognize her. But, I realize, it's not real life. LOL

This is beyond wrong on so many levels. It's bad enough that a long time character like Marlena is being completely ruined (AGAIN!) with this story, but killing off Alice is taking it beyond what is acceptable or tasteful.I'll admit that I don't really watch this show anymore, but I can be sure that I won't go back after this is over. The whole reason that soaps have lasted so many years is their dedication to history. Being able to tune in and see your old favs, is what keeps these shows going. To kill off all of the vets, will kill this show, IMO. Blech.

I have been watching off and on since the early 80's, I quit when Marlena was possessed because that was just too much for me. I recently started watching again and damned if they aren't back to ruining Marlena again. It's the only daytime soap I have ever watched and am now sad that they have ruined it for me.

On May 24, Reilly will reveal his latest insane twist: ''None of them are dead!'' That's right, all 10 of the victims are alive and kickin' it in their new home -- a copycat version of Salem that's been reconstructed on a remote Caribbean island. Reilly promises that by summer's end, befuddled viewers will learn how Marlena's murder victims survived their on-screen demises, along with the reason for her slashing spree. (All 10 actors who previously thought they had been dumped by the show have agreed to return.) Hmmm..interesting! I wonder if they'll kill them all off again after a couple of months....

LAST EDITED ON 06-03-04 AT 08:13 PM (EST)Especially for longtime viewers of the show! I stumbled upon this site a couple of months ago and they change the video clips every couple of weeks. THIS time, they have segments of an episode that ran February 14, 1966!!!! It's in black and white and Tom and Alice look sooooooo wonderful and young! I had forgotten how handsome MacDonald Carey was! Marie Cheatam as their daughter Marie is in it and John Clarke (WOW....HE was handsome too and looks so very young) is Mickey and they have Julie (but it's not Susan Seaforth Hayes. It's some other chick and it's back when Julie was in HS). They discuss Julie and her brother Steven............shoot, I had practically forgotten about Steven...do you guys remember him? When I watched, he was played by Stephan Schnetzer (sp?) the guy who played Cass Winthrop on AW. And they discuss Addie - Julie's mom(who I remember) and Julie's dad Ben Olson(who I don't remember...remember the name, but never saw him on screen). Anyway, it's a real hoot to see the hairstyles, hear the lame "soapy" background music, and to see beloved characters from way back when! Is it just me or does it seem like they start a storyline without having a clue as to how they will finish it? Or maybe they don't want to finish it with hopes we will all stay tuned forever. Wichever it is, I must say this is going to far, even for a soap. I usually tivo the show and watch it while fast forward-ing. This way I don't have to listen to the same conversations over and over but I still see *if* something happens.
