SherpaDave 8324 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 07-14-01, 01:43 AM (EST) "SSC(CW) Cereal Breath" "Cereal breath," they used to giggle, opening their mouths to show each other the ground up mushy Cheerios on each other's tongues. It was their favorite morning game before they had to go to the bus stop. "Gross!" they'd screech and then laugh hysterically. Once, he choked on his Cheerios, inhaling too fast to catch his breath from laughter, bits of toasted oats careening down his throat and lodging there, making him cough. Coughing back up the same pieces he'd so gleefully shown his sister moments before, is mother reprimanding them, telling them I-warned-you-didn't-I-tell-you-what-would-happen as she cleaned up the mess on the table. Eyes downcast, they returned placidly to the remains of their Cheerios until she left the room. Then he took a drink of milk just as his sister stuck out her tongue again, whispering, "Cereal breath." He started giggling again, milk coming out his nose. His sister was definitely winning the cereal breath game today. She usually did. He lacked the timing she had to make him laugh at just the wrong times. It was their favorite morning game.   Top

It brought me back to my own cildhood growing up with 3 sisters. Much to my parents' dismay, we actually had a "gross out" contest. And MILK coming out your nose...? Heh! Try pizza or Dr. Pepper! A little scary too, as mom's away for the weekend and I have watch over our 1 & 3 year old sons. Now do I do the right thing and just feed them scrambled eggs for breakfast or do I pull out the HoneyNut Cheerios and teach them "Cereal Breath"? Well, that's a no-brainer....breakfast is served! Reminds me of me and my best friend, when we were, I dunno, 7, 8?... after dinner was "burp-up" time. Burp up some food and show it on the tongue. She was much better at it then me, she could do it at will. I was more a slave to a chance burp. It was most exciting on the nights that she had had chili and crackers for dinner! Wonderfully gross, and easy to burp up! To this day, if I get that food burp, I say to myself "Burp up!!!" dangerkitty   Top
