I read that too Breezy!! I wonder what kind of songs they will sing and who will give them clearance to sing their songs. This does allow Carrie I would guess to sing a country song since they have many of those around. If it is true, should be interesting..

LAST EDITED ON 04-26-05 AT 12:37 PM (EST)Of course I can't know how reliable it is, but it was posted on another board that BO will be singing Here Without You by 3 doors down. It also said Carrie would be singing First Cut is the Deepest-Cheryl Crow, and that Con would be singing Drops of Jupiter-Train. Remember, we never know how reliable it is! I took out link, when I clicked on it; it didn't go to the message I wanted it too. *shrug*

17. "My choices" |
LAST EDITED ON 04-26-05 AT 04:08 PM (EST)Vonzell: though she'll probably choose a Beyonce/Alicia Keys song, I'd pick something by a less-copied/familiar artist...I'd go with "Get This Party Started" by Pink. Sounds strange, maybe, but Vonzell probably needs to do an uptempo song to stick around. I think she'd have a ton of fun with this song (transposed to her range, of course). Or if she wants to slow it down, I'd do Faith Evans' "I Love You". It's a beautiful song and Vonzell could pull it off. She could be in trouble this week because there aren't a whole lot of songs for her to choose from that would be well-suited to her style. Scott: I'd love to hear him do something neo-soul or Santana f. Musiq "Nothing At All". Nothing At All would be my top pick for Scott - it's not a totally mellow song (nice Spanish guitar and rhythms in the background) and it's got a great melody/chorus that would go well with Scott's voice. Carrie: she can easily turn back to country this week, and that's what I'd do if I were her...something familiar to non-country fans (and something that does not require a whole lot of emotion) - "Cry" by Faith Hill would be my choice...or something by the Dixie Chicks...or "I Hope You Dance" by LeAnn Womack. Anthony: Maybe "Remedy" by Jason Mraz or "Rhythm Devine" by Enrique Iglesias. It's really hard to choose for him since his style is so different. But the Enrique song would be a good one for him - uptempo and certainly could show off his voice (and any version of an Enrique Iglesias song is better than the original...too bad, cause his dad is awesome) Constantine: "Bent" by Matchbox 20 (or anything by Rob Thomas...they have that same weird enunciation/pronunciation thing going on)...really it's anybody's guess with Constantine...maybe Drops of Jupiter by Train? I love that song Bo: "Disease" Matchbox 20 "When I'm Gone" by 3 Doors Down. I'm certainly not the right person to pick the right rock songs though, lol. I'd love to hear him sing "I Don't Wanna Be" by Gavin Degraw, but I don't think that'll happen. etf tags Got blog?

I wonder if Scott could pull off that one song .. gosh what is the name of it... "It just goes to show you the blues' or something like that. I have the CD, that song really rocks, the rest of the CD is to rappy for my taste. It talks about downtrodden people and what the blues are really about in modern day times.... its about 4 years old.... ?? Oh Whitey Ford, I think he was in a band and went out and did this CD solo if my sieve like mind is remembering correctly.
