...we finally saw a Hantz truly scrambling to save himself. And he's very bad at it. Willie started by going sullen and miserable, refusing to speak with anyone. Eventually, he apologized to Britney for ruining her game, adopting a weird position where he was on his knees with his hands on her feet while doing so. (Even a sorry Hantz feels the need to hold women down.) He declared he would not go up to see Frank's HoH room. Then he did. He asked Britney not to ask the CC immunity on him if she won: he wants to win Veto and fight his way out. (Willie believes Frank is competitive enough to frontdoor him.) He went around to JoJo and Ashley, working his Dumb Whatever Hair Color Alliance to see where his votes were and apologize in case his associations put them up. He got royally chewed out by Britney, which led to this exchange.Willie: "My wife wouldn't talk to me the way you talk to me."
Britney: "That's because you would beat her."
She backtracked to "yell at her" a few seconds later.
...Frank hasn't really talked much about his intended nominations, but Willie is rather high on the list for the cage as a near-whole: they're aware of how soon jury formation must be starting and don't want him on it. What Frank did get was a lot of criticisms prior to his win about his methane control: he got Jenn and she wasn't exactly thrilled about it. And during his HoH reveal, he read his letter and found it started with wishes about his having a good time making new friends. Brought down the house.
...the current mentor alliance is Everyone Versus Britney. Not only do they want Willie out of the house (and the Janelle/Britney bad blood continues), but they're terrified of her winning the Coach's Challenge. The worst-case scenario for them: Britney takes the trade option and sends Willie to Dan, followed by Willie being voted out and Dan running out of players.
...Ian had an extended period in the hammock, rocking back and forth -- where he couldn't stop himself from rocking. He called it 'stimming' (to the cameras, not to any hamster), which turns out to be a term used for involuntary movement in some forms of autism. So for those who had him diagnosed, you can probably consider it confirmed. Janelle eventually came out and calmed him down with a game of cornhole. (Or as Willie calls it, corn-ho.)
He suspects he's going up this week next to Willie: thus the stress. If so, I think he's pretty safe -- unless Willie directly takes the Veto or gets removed by it. Should that happen, he's got more than a little real concern to deal with. Wait and see...
...Kara was pulled off the interview circuit: no media access to her for anyone, anywhere, any how. And it's not an Amber situation: she was a little too shy and quiet to say anything CBS doesn't want her confronted over, and merely being a former Playmate doesn't throw up the walls on this level. So I think we can consider Revive-A-Hamster as officially on. Even Willie's figured that out, thinking his being voted out might result in his being gone as long as a week. Maybe someone will try getting him to Lawon himself.
...the ratings are significantly down: 1m to 1.5m or so.
Gosh, looks like The Glass House did some intellectual property damage after all.
