The judges' criticism was rather harsh, wasn't it? She started off a bit rough, but really nailed it at the end, in my opinion. Not her best, but it was a bit much for Paula to actually criticize - Paula needs to save her criticisms for the truly terrible performances if she wants to be fair about it.

Not that anyone cares, but I really enjoyed last night's show and I wanted to rank the performances.8. Nadia - man, what a boring, forgettable, performance. Simon hit the nail on the head with the "Wallpaper" comment. 7. Anwar - he bores me every week, while the other contestants are consistantly entertaining. Would anyone really buy a CD of Anwar singing 10 slow songs? 6. Anthony - I respect that others really liked this performance, but I really like the original song and it annoyed me that Anthony didn't sing it in the same key as the original. Sorry. 5. Scott - Chorus was good, but I can't overlook how hideous the versuses were! 4. Vonzell - I love it when she sings fun songs and wears fun clothes! I'm not as big a fan of her when she wears ball gowns and sings slow songs 3. Bo - Having listen to Freebird over 10,000 in my lifetime and having heard it performed live, in concert, 3 times, I thought Bo's rendition was EXCELLENT!
2. Carrie - Any other week, she would be at the bottom of the list, but last night I thought she was really good. Loved the singing, liked the outfit, but the dancing needs to be cleaned up a little bit. I mean, Pat Benetar was a rocker chick. She would have never sung that song with a big smile on her face and swung her hips back and forth on the chorus. 1. Constantine - there were 2 or 3 off notes, but his performance was so entertaining, I didn't mind. He actually built a true concert type atmosphere last night and didn't just stand there and sing a song! Excellent!  "Evil" Dr. Will: Reality Show Legend!

Ahh, 'Footloose' memories, a young Kevin Bacon, early Sarah Jessica Parker. Lot of great songs on that soundtrack. It's not an easy song to sing but she did a nice job.Randy says she gave another great performance, excellent. Paula says she is a bright light, lots of energy, picked the right song to sing, the right register for her voice. Simon says very good choice of song, based on tonight's performance thinks Vonzell will stay longer than Nadia, she will inspire the audience to phone in and vote for her.

I just love it that they keep letting Scott talk. The more he talks, the more people will see what a whack-o he is, and they will vote for others, letting him go sooner. He may be proud of himself for getting this far, and I suppose he should be, but that pompous attitude is NOT endearing to the public. And, to argue with the judges is just plain stupid. His comments were arrogant and obnoxious, and nobody wants to see someone like this get any bigger for their britches than he is right now. And you're all right! What were Hall and Oates supposed to do, Boo and hiss and throw tomatoes? Some parts of the song weren't bad, but his mouth did him in, I believe.

I've been wondering if the placement of where everyone sings has anything to do with who will be in the final three and who goes home each week. It seems that the first singer and the last singer are always safe and the people that sing in the middle end up in the final three and end up going home.

I guess I don't like it much. Randy says Carrie rocks out, some pitchy notes, high notes sharp, messed up the words a little but covered, alright for him, not sure he likes the rocked out Carrie. Paula says she rocked it. Simon says she needed to do that after last week but a little like watching a kitten that wanted to be a tiger.

I really don't like when he looks at the camera and I usually don't like him but he wasn't that bad tonight. Still not good enough for me to vote for him but a'ight as Randy would say. The camera man really didn't help him with the lights blinding us at home and blocking him (although I really don't mind as he creeps me out).

Scott <06> - She's Gone: 4 Constantine and Vonzell are peaking at the right time. They are certainly contenders for the title. Bo and Anwar have been coasting, but can still step it up. Nadia is a favorite of mine, but she doesn't seem to resonate with the voters. Carrie definitely slipped tonight, and needs to get the ship righted soon. Anthony & Scott are the two bottom-feeders that will hopefully be eliminated over the next two weeks. Bottom Three: Carrie, Anthony, and Scott, with hopefully Scott getting the boot.

As much as Carrie has been not too great the past two weeks I think she has too many fans to end up in th bottom three. It may be an Anwar, Vonzel and Nadia bottom 3 week with Nadia going when it should be someone else but would someone please help Nadia pick a song next week?!!!!

Nadia Constantine & Vonzell were absolutely the best of the night, without a doubt. Bo was so-so as he's been as of late. Seems he's not as versatile as I thought (or isn't showing it). And then there was... Anthony was not great by any means, but boy was that an improvement. These are the kinds of songs he should be singing from now on. I still cannot stand the kid, but a cast improvement from anything else he's ever sung, IMO. Anwar just does nothing for me. His voice is so bizarre and annoying and he had a hard time, yet again, tonight. I hope he goes home soon. Scott picked a horrid song for his range (WAY too low for him), but the upper stuff was great (why I liked him in the first place...when he's on, he's got a gorgeous voice) Carrie. YUCK. I like that song, but she really destroyed it. Talk about trying to mold herself into the artist she's singing. That was just so bad in so many ways. Nadia - Totally horrible. In tune once or twice, maybe. She cannot do ballads of any kind...she does NOT have the control or the pipes for it. And that dress looked awful on her. Way to make her look even twiggier than she is (not that her hair helps...though I do dig her 'fro).

I have loved Constantine from his original audition -- he is a great talent. Tonight's performance was my all time favorite AI performance. I think he deserves to win. He's so passionate and exciting -- everyone else just pales in comparison. I just don't think anyone else can compete with him.

I would love to see either Bo or Constantine win AI4.What i have loved so far is the competition between the two. Initially Bo was way out front of Constantine, but over the past couple of weeks, Constantine has managed to turn that tide, and he gets my respect for raising the bar, improving himself, etc. I have a feeling Bo will pay him back w/ his competitive edge in the weeks to come. I'd love to see those two as the final two. One can only hope. And, by the way, Simon, your sweet little Carrie blew it big time. geekboy

I find it amusing that Constantine looks very much like Gary Sinese in his Lt Dan character from Forrest Gump. Couldn't help but like that arrogant guy, either! I sure wanted to hate C in the beginning. But, he and Bo have really spiced up this season.
