I thought tonight theme of Musicals was terrible....Nadia , carrie and Anthony were the best tonight...I couldn't understand a word Nikko said and Vonzell was way out of her range...Anwar is undoubtably the best natural singer..I think Scott is out becasue of the mug shot pasted around the news....I think Constine is so much better than Bo..Oh well what do I know..I only buy the cd.s.....hint hint

He did a fairly good job, but I'm not sure he really has the vocal range to do this song really well. I think that may be a problem for a lot of the singers. A lot of songs from musicals can be pretty challenging range wise.

Actually my favorite Carrie performance so far. Simon is right, the song was boring as hell. But, for once, Carrie didn't look like she was going to pass out from fright during the song. If she can maintain that confidence & keep singing like she has been singing (and perhaps pick a good song now and then  ), she's a threat to win.

After Anthony butchered "Climb Every Mountain" I said to Mr. B that someone ought to do "Corner of the Sky". Damn it. I was so disappointed in Bo tonight.Hate to admit that I actually enjoyed Constantine tonight. Comparitively. And while Nikko was singing, Mr. B said, "If he points one (1) more time, I'm going to break his finger." I adore musicals. I'm completely underwhelmed tonight.

I agree Bebo..but Bo was better than manyMy order, OMG, I cannot believe this list... 1. Constantine...it was very good for him...Randy was dead on accurate 2. Anwar--this theme was good to him 3. Nadia--she is back and will not be in bottom 3 4. Bo--eh, but the others... 5. Carrie--Am I missing something with her? I just don't like her very much...but to each her own 6. Nikko--it was okay but boring song too 7. Vonzell--I don't like when people do Barbra..they can never do it justice (Mikalah, need I say more?) and Vonzell did not do that wonderful song justice...I foresee her in bottom 3 this week 8. Scott--Oh my was that bad..but not as bad as 9. Anthony--it was hideous, just hideous....he should go..

I was disappointed overall. There are so many good "show tunes" and the selections made this week were ghastly, to say the least.I think this was a very very WEAK week, but the usuals pulled through, and by that i mean Bo, Nadia, and Constantine. Constantine won me over more this week, i was impressed with him both this week and last. Nadia and Anwar seem to have recovered a bit. As usual, Bo can do no wrong. The others - ehhhh....i don't know. I think the weakest was Anthony, followed by Scott/Nikko. Could be an all-guy bottom three this week. I think Anthony needs to go. geekboy

I agree with your weakest, geekboy. (Anthony followed by Scott/Nikko.)I must admit that I didn't despise Constantine this week, which is saying something. I thought Carrie did really well, but what an awful song choice. Would've loved to hear her do something from "My Fair Lady" ("I Could've Danced All Night," for example) or "The Music Man" ("Till There was You" would've been great). Something from "Annie Get Your Gun" would've been a riot... I'm actually very familiar with Pippin and "Corner of the Sky" (I was singing along with Bo), and the performance was good but not great, IMO. I love Bo--can't believe he didn't do "Hair"! Maybe it was just too much of a given... My husband thought he should've chosen something from "Guys and Dolls," maybe "Luck Be a Lady." I wasn't that impressed with Vonzell, but the song choice may be coloring my perceptions. It just seems like Vonzell always picks "overdone" songs. I mean, Whitney Houston last week and "People" this week. She needs to stray a bit from the beaten path. Nikko should've done "Something's Coming" if he was dead-set on "West Side Story." The duet thing did not work. I thought it was Anwar's best performance in weeks. Nadia was great until the last note. I hope she's safe--several others deserve the boot before her.

Thank dawg this theme is out of the way.Vonzelle, Nadia and, surprise -- Constantine -- were the best. Scott and Anthony are clearly getting weeded out of this group. Bo could sing me "How to Make Love to a Woman" the phone book and I'd love him.

Thanks. I wonder if they talk with the voice coach or anyone from rehearsals--like the band. Something about their behavior suggests they are not entirely "fresh" to the song the contestant is singing.
