Week 1 scoring

Ahoy mateys, we have a new season underway and quite a group of misfits have we here playing me fantasy game, arrrgh! Welcome to all of ye, but beware, the gold dubloons earned in this game are as false and rotten as me farthers teeth. Rest assured me mateys, a cool sigpic will be yar top honor if ye succeed in navigavating yar way through to the end and top spot of Fantasy Pirate Master!

This game is open to all newcomers if yar sea legs aren't shaking clean off yarself. If you haven't made your team yet please join us, ye will start off in better shape then at least one scallywag thats fer darn sure.

Pieces of eight were handed out to pirates as follows:

1. 60 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team is named Captain. JD
2. 20 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team finds and keeps booty. Alexis, Ben, Cheryl, JD, John, Jupiter, Kendra, and Louie
3. 10 gold dubloons awarded each time any player on your team says "booty, ahoy, argh, or Henry Steel". None
4. -30 gold dubloons penalized if any player on your team walks the plank, has to participate in keel hauling, is left for dead, or is cut adrift at Pirate's Court. John
5. 100 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team is responsible for a mutiny. None
6. 50 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team succesfully steals booty from another player. None
7. 70 gold dubloons awarded if any player on your team is heard reading any part of a treasure clue out loud. Cheryl and Kendra
8. 10 gold dubloons awarded each time any player on your team has their name on the screen in a confessional. Alexis(3), Ben(6), Cheryl(5), Christian(2), Jay(9), JD(6), John(9), Joy(3), Louie(8), Sean(1)
9. -10 gold dubloons penalized if any player on your team is a deck hand, a commoner, not part of the Captain's direct crew. Alexis, Azmyth, Christa, Christian, Jay, John, Joy, Jupiter, Kendra, Laurel, Louie, Nessa, Sean

Week 1 bonus: I have a preseason favorite, if they are on your team in week 1 you get 100 gold dubloons! My pre-season favorite was Sean, he is a dreamboat!!!!!

The top score of 550 gold dubloons would have been a team including: Cheryl, JD, Sean, Louie and one of Ben, Jay, or Kendra

Our best Pirate Master score for the week was by none other than a newbie, a big CONGRATS to KYgail with a score of 480! Buckeyegirl and CTgirl round out the top three. At the bottom of the boat like a barnacle hanging on fer dear life is Pinky T who picked every one of the lowest scoring scummy pirates that she could.

In order to show that I am not all together cold hearted, I will give Pinky T a one time mulligan. She can choose 5 new pirates or any combination of new pirates without an editing demerit. But the rest of ye land lubbers don't get that kind of break. Every edit to your crew will cost you 50 gold dubloons, unless ye lost the set adrift player John whom you can replace for free.

Week 2 Bonus- worth 50 gold dubloons each

1. Name one player that will receive a black mark

2. Name one player that will be shown unlocking a lock

3. Name one player that will be shown with their name on the screen in confessional at least 5 times

WEEK 2 POSTING NOTE-

A. Please post and answer bonus questions even if you don't intend to change your crew.

B. If changing your crew, please state in your post and say who you are replacing and what new pirate takes their place. You will be penalized 50 gold dubloons for EACH crew member changed.

C. If you lost John due to him being set adrift, you need to replace him free of charge, please state your intentions in your post.
