As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
I think Dan admitted that he was about to fall off before striking the deal. He made the deal with Ollie because he needed him to drop first. It was an obvious desperate attempt, but Ollie fell for it. I agree that Dan's strategy was convoluted. He should have nominated Ollie and Michelle from the get go. Assuming that Michelle wouldn't have targetted Dan if she won HOH next week is ludicrous. Michelle has been gunning for Dan since she was HOH. That delusional cow still holds Dan responsible for the sacrifice of St Jessie, even though it was April who put him up on the block in the first place. At this point of the game, trying to appease Ollie and Michelle was no longer an option. Dan had to break his word and pis$ people off. It may cost him some jury votes, but as long as he gets to the final 2, I still think he may have a chance to win.
