"Remaking Vanilla Ice" |
I previously saw Remaking Vince Neil, and they went so far as to give him plastic surgery.This past weekend I saw Remaking Vanilla Ice. It was very, very interesting in a tragic way. Vanilla refused to be remade in any way. He wouldn't participate in the "trust" activities, he wouldn't get his hair cut, he wouldn't wear new clothes, he wouldn't update his musical style, he wouldn't do any choreography. He totally refused to be remade in any way. Then when he had his big performance, it was the same old thing, and nobody liked it. Seems Mr. Van Winkle blew what was probably his last chance. He had this really good drummer that grew very frustrated and ended up quitting, and V.I. continually referred to being "thrown under a bus." It was sad, really sad and, like I said, tragic. Anyone else see this?
