"30 Days"
Anybody hear about this? It's a new Reality Show on FOX that will premiere sometime around mid-June. It's about Morgan Spurlock (A man famous for embarking on a 30 Day Diet of nothing but McDonald's in his Movie "Super Size Me") who will take on a 30 Day Challenge. Challenges include living in a maximum security jail and becoming a devout Muslim. It sounds fun.

Is it actually him that is going to do each 30 days? That sounds dull.
and, having worked with Senor Spurlock, I must say that he is quite the vain self-promoter, which should not come as a surprise. I worked with him before seeing "SuperSizeMe" and I guess it colored my opinion, because I found the movie to be pedantic and obvious.

One might be able to learn the rituals and dogma of a religion, but actually changing one's lifetime faith might be an entirely another matter. I know, I know - being a bit too pedantic, but that concept just bothers me.
I dunno - hasn't the concept been done? Not sure what station or show, but people learn a new profession and have to be able to fool a pro in a month's time?

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
