After being a fan of the series, I can't say I ever really seriously watched the Charlie version, I was so turned off by the two minute dates, the pajama clad rose ceremony and maybe mostly dim witted Charlie himself. Bring back the Bachelor with the romance it used to have. I know it was pretty much fake but it was much more entertaining than this pseudo Jerry Springer fest

I think it's very hard to have true romance on the Bachelor or any reality show for that matter. First of all, most times producers cast a bunch of wannabe models and actresses to increase ratings. They're not looking to settle down or find love...they just want to 'win.' Secondly, all the dates are too perfect. It's easy to 'fall in love' with someone in an exotic location away from the struggles of the real world. Once they get back to the grind of work, friends, and family things seem to eventually fall apart.

This season has just seemed so low class to me. I want a charming bachelor and some women that don't seem like they were found on the street corner.

I don't care how this one ends up.
