PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"Random thoughts from Ep. 3" |
- Wow! What a sweet prize for the Bransen family! Even assuming BP caps the prize at $50 dollars of gas per week that is easily over $100,000 per person (at least for the daughters). Other than the million dollars, easily the Best Prize Ever!- Apparently most of the other teams dislike the Weavers as much as these boards do. - I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at the Schroeder house last night to see what happened after sweet little Hunter called his Stepmom a beyotch on national TV. Thanksgiving at their house must be a treat! - The site of Phil pulling 3.2g’s is hilarious. - The Aiello’s were (kinda) robbed. Sure, it was a boneheaded decision to try and drive through the mud bog 17(?) times, but in the end that's not why they lost. It seems so …unfair?... to bunch the teams together if there is no real opportunity for them to pass one another. This leg would have been unfair to whichever team came in last as it all came down to who grabbed the ticket first. Yes, there have been many similar bunching episodes but it seemed like they all had numerous opportunities (bad cabbies, getting lost, traffic, etc) for teams to move ahead, whether by sheer luck, skill, or even the stupidity of the other teams. This ep. forced them to depart the roadblock in timed intervals and the only way they could lose was if they got lost – and it seemed like their were plenty of people around to ask directions. Oh well, enough ranting, no cry babies… Your thoughts…?

I think you are probably right... but since BP has made over $12 billion in profit so far this year they'll get no sympathy from me.

But what if they live in an area (like I do) where there are no BP or Arco stations? Halloween Headache provided by RollDdice

4 people getting free gas won't break the company. Just comes out of the advertising budget. Lifetime cost of the prize is still probably less than one Super Bowl commercial.

As I said in another thread:"While loving this show including TAR8, this ending was very poor. A non-elimination was the logical ending. And if the show producers felt that another team was needed to be remove then re-ordering the tasks would have been better. Having the Shoe task (boy was that simple, and the 3.2 G tasks first with the Mud-run or the Shrimp Beheading tasks being the tasks just before the Pitstop would have been better. In-fact forget detours. Doing 50 lbs of shrimp, followed by the mud run, then the pitstop would have been more fun. The team that gave up on the mud, would had have to do it, and the winner/eliminated would basicly be who figures out the mud run best/worse. Earl Colby Pottinger" The same team might have still lost, but they would lose because of the number of times needed to do thier run, not because of random chance.
