PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

LAST EDITED ON 10-14-05 AT 03:31 PM (EST)('Scuse me, I'm still woozy from those 3.2 g's.) The Right Stuff? I think not! Many of you are so not getting in the space program anytime soon! They'd never let you in with that lack of prowess. In spite of that, Bransens (that means you, Wally), congratulations. Even if you don't win the million bucks, free gasoline for life or until BP/Amoco goes Chapter 11, or fuel cells become practical might be worth nearly as much! For you, Tommy Linz, I have a special runner-up prize: Use it in good health. And listen to your hottie sister on occasion. Weavers, Weavers, Weavers. You antagonized some folks this week. And you are coming unglued at precisely the wrong time, as a brutal task awaits you next week. Better say a few novenas tonight, ok? (We're right near EWTN headquarters, BTW.) And Linda, did you lift your "If you like us, great" speech from the Schroeders? I almost had a little sympathy for you Paolos. Almost. I have two questions for you, Tony Aiello: 1. How much more do your clothes weigh with the mud? 2. Will the Gaghan kids be on your Christmas card list this year? Sorry to see you go. Your personalities are all bursting through. This week should be amusing! There's still time to play. Just sign up in the signup thread, in which you'll find the rules. So far, the following Racers have been claimed:WEAVER: Linda, Rolly, (eta: Rachel) PAOLO: Marion, DJ, Tony, Brian (all taken) LINZ: Tommy, Megan AIELLO: Tony (Philiminated) GAGHAN: Carissa, Bill, Billy BRANSEN: Walter GODLEWSKI: Sharon, Tricia SCHROEDER: Mark, Char You may also participate without signing up by posting as a non-Racer, e.g. a shrimp boat worker, a Huntsville Space Center employee, a driver, a cameraperson or sound tech, or others. Be creative! Have fun! Was this up quickly enough for ya?

(aside to the camera)Hey, it could be worse, you know. He might have just come off his garbage hauler shift. And? At least he's not a Samoan woman who's about to bear-hug Bob Barker. But then, there is Marion... Ah, the sacrifices we hosts have to make.

Yo Phil. You better watch it man. Leave my mamma alone. Why you on her case? And why you on my case? I was going to comment on the fact that my family and I weren't nearly as annoying this week (except for pops going on about the good ole days in Italy blah blah) - that prize would go to the Weavers. They lost it man, they just lost it. They've snapped. Absolutely snapped... Just when I thought that I wouldn't be bustin heads this week... Phil, man, you're in my sights. Cyg, you're hillarious. Good job on capturing the essence of Marion... looking forward to the true essence of DJ.

Where have you been, babe? Glad you're finally here to help me defend the superiority of our family dynamics. First, I've already had a stern talking to Hunter about his disrespecting you. We don't want our son to turn out that those Paolo boys. He forgot about the hours we went over our 10-Point Plan to win that we discussed before this race started. He's in check. Looking at these other pathetic excuses for women, makes me really appreciate that I have you, Babe. I shudder of the thought of waking up next to a neurotic loudmouth like that mess-of-a-mother, Marion Paolo -- or listening to the high-pitched nonsense from the pieholes of those ditzy Godlewski shrews -- or, worst of all, that schizophrenic, Bible-thumping Linda Weaver. I bet her husband committed suicide to get away from her. I love ya, Babe. By the way, did you book the second hotel room for the kids? Daddy's feeling a little frisky tonight . . .

Well. We might not know where Pennsylvania or Washington, D.C. is, but at least we can pronounce "Dulles."About my choice of roadblock. Yes, driving is not my strongest suit. But I figured if Jesus can walk on water, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to drive across mud. I was wrong. But I just got a phone call from two guys named Ryan and Chuck, and they think I'm one hot momma for trying! Not that I'm ready to move on yet. I can also explain my daughters' behavior last night. You see, their grandfather, Charlie Weaver, once got a question about a bus wrong on Hollywood Squares. The Waffle House even made it worse. Great Great Grandfather Horace Weaver choked to death on a waffle. Very traumatic. Did you say EWTN? That's Catholic, Phil. You might as well ask us to do a voodoo dance. So excited about next week's leg. I hear we get to ride in a Winnebago! What's that? They said...they said Talladega?!

Well it was quite an investment formy company to grant gas-for-life to the four members of the Bransen family. Dad Bransen could go tomorrow if the TAR-F organizers plan another physical challenge, but the girls look like they have a lot of life left in them. Boy if I was a younger man I would hand deliver some of that gas (and other petroleum products) to those girls....I am just thankful that we don't have to fund gas-for-life for that Tommy Linz - he seems to have his own supply. And by airing (!) all those scenes with him talking about his gas, BP/Amoco might be able to use the exclusive gas provider clause in our contract with CBS to get out of some of the advertising dollars we would otherwise have to pay. Remind me to call the lawyers and accountants. Sincerely,
|
