But I can remember from years ago PJ saying how she read the boards and was crushed over what was said about her! So even though they can't respond now (b/c the show has been taped) I am sure they read them.

having only been here since yesterday, I can't comment on it, but I know from lurking on the official Starting Over board that it was BRUTAL. I'm not surprised that one of the House Guests reading the board was crushed over what she read there. They are real people with real feelings after all, and the fact that they already have existing emotional problems I can only imagine the damage that would be done if they realized how cold and heartless and unsupportive some people can be towards them. I'm not saying anyone should censor themselves, I'm just saying that for the women's own sakes that they don't ever read especially certain boards about them. I know I wouldn't, although I'd probably be dying of curiosity.

I, too lurked on the "official" boards. If it were me, I would not want to see what was/is written. What good could it do? Some of the posts, my own included, can be a bit harsh. These posts are our own opionions, not always written to help and support. That is what they have LC's, friends, and family for.
