"How it all will end" |
LAST EDITED ON 08-09-00 AT 10:47 PM (EST)Now that we're down to five people, I figure it's time to start speculating about who will be the winner. I think Richard, Rudy, and Susan will form a core alliance that will vote out Kelly and Sean in the next two episodes. You can count on Dicque and Rudy sticking together (ironic if you think about it), Susan is the only question mark. She might not like Dicque, but I think she's smart enough to realize that if she sticks with them, she has a one in three shot of winning, and since everyone hates Dicque, it's effectively one in two. True, she could try to get Kelly and Sean to team up on Dicque and Rudy, but I think Sean and Kelly are too flaky to be trusted and she'll stick with Dicque and Rudy. This gives us a final 3 of Dicque, Rudy, and Susan, unless the Kelly/Sean survivor from E12 wins immunity in E13, but let's assume that doesn't happen. The key now becomes who wins the final immunity challenge. The two losers will obviously vote for each other and the challenge winner will decide who will be left with him or her for the final two and will choose whoever he/she has the best chance of defeating in the jury vote. If Susan or Rudy win the immunity challenge they should be the overall winners if they're smart enough to keep Dicque around so they can win the final vote. If Dicque wins the final immunity challenge he'll probably picked Susan since I think she's less popular than Rudy. He could also stay loyal to Rudy and keep him around. In any case I don't think Dicque would defeat Rudy or Susan in the jury vote, so the final winner has to be Susan or Rudy. The only X factor is if Kelly/Sean win immunity in the final four, which blows my whole theory to hell. For the record, I'm going to pick Rudy. You heard it here first.

I was refering to my specific theory, not just the fact Rudy will win. I'm sure countless millions have already picked Rudy to win.

It is impossible to predict precisely because immunity is key at this point however:I can't see Rudy being voted off. Everyone thinks they can beat him in the jury vote. If it did come down to Sue vs. Rich I think Sue would lose.

My gawd, has anybody ever really contemplated that "The Dicque" could actually win this thing? He's getting more & more 'human' as the show progresses too. Terrifying thot...

>My gawd, has anybody ever really >contemplated that "The Dicque" could >actually win this thing? ... >Terrifying thot... Yup, it is. But, remember, Burnett has been quoted as saying that he and the CBS crew thought that the person who actually wins, would be one of the first to go. But, he goes on to say that the player's attitude changed through the course of the game and in the end, surprised them all. I dunno. From what I've seen, the attitudes just keep getting nastier and nastier.
Frankly, if Dicque wins, will it really be any different than the way of life in the US? Look at how greed and corruption in our society is often rewarded. I refrain from bringing specific politics into the discussion, but is any politician truly honest? Yet, we still dance around the truth and even go so far as to praise them. At this point in the game, my choice is Rudy. My original favorite (Gretchen) was tossed long ago, but from who is left, I'm rooting for Rudy. The man has played it smart...keep quiet and humour the alliance and then stick it to them if and when you can. I just hope he doesn't lose in a challenge...don't even want to think about that one...

You really think he's getting more "human" ? I don't see it. He seems even more Manipulative lately to me. The closer it gets to the end, the more they are going to play each other. Funny on the first episode, I thought Rich looked like a good bet for winner. Then his sneaky nature came out. I thought Sue would be one of the first to go. Shows how much I knew about it. I do find Rich to be very entertaining, and think seeing his face when he gets voted of will be great. Hope he doesn't make final three. But I think he will.

if anyone gives a #####- here's what I think.THIS WEEK- Kelly. I know what the trailers said and we should never believe the trailers. But it just makes sense. You piss off the alliance, you die. Thats just how it works. I'm also going with the penis alliance theory, which means Sue goes after Kelly, then Sean, with Rudy and Rich in the final two. If anyone heard, the jury of 7 will be just that- the final TC will be worked as a courtroom with opening arguements, closing arguements, etc. Though Rich is a smooth talker, which COULD work to his advantage, I'm sure pagong isnt *that* dumb (lol) and can see through his sliminess. Which means-thats right kids- Rudy wins. I know, it has become such a cliche, but its logical.

Has anyone seen the U.S. Weekly magazine the last week or so with the Survivors on the cover? In the little blurb about Rudy, they had a quote from a friend of his: "Say, Rudy, can I have your autograph -- on a blank check?!" Does this sound like a clue to you? It did to me. Plus there was a picture of Rudy taken in July while he was on a big fishing trip. No one else had extra pictures of themselves, just Rudy. Additionally, the article began with Rudy first. Just a thought.....
