I kid you not...

Oh my heck, we get Bud Bundy, Greg Brady, Milli (or is it Vanilli?), Tiffany, and Kato Kaelin? Yes folks, we're in hell. At least the men can ogle a former Baywatch babe and one of Barker's Beauties from The Price is Right (the darling Nikki).

Here is the report from AICN:

http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=13104

Look Who Falls In For CELEBRITY BOOTCAMP!!

Barry Williams, the "Brady Bunch" icon who appeared in both blockbuster “Celebrity Boxing” specials and climbs into the snake tank this autumn for “Celebrity Fear Factor,” is going for the hat trick.
Variety reports Tuesday morning that the 47-year-old former sitcom star has been cast in “Celebrity Boot Camp,” a spinoff of the “Survivor”-like 2001 Fox reality series.
The entire calvalcade of A-list competitors, two of whom have only one name:
Traci Bingham
Coolio
David Faustino
Kato Kaelin
Lorenzo Lamas
Fabrice Morvan
Tiffany
Vitamin C
Barry Williams
Nikki Schieler Ziering
That's right: Gary Busey snubbed again!
Bingham was among “Baywatch’s” sprawling female cast, Morvan was half of Milli Vanilli, and Ziering is married to one of the guys on “90210” who wasn’t Luke Perry or Jason Priestly.

edited to add: Per TV Guide, this will be a 2-hour special on Sept. 30 at 8pm.

Evil, rude, snotty, and proud of it!

Here's the Variety article describing the show:

My reaction -- ugh.

More Kato Kaelin. I've never seen anyone milk his 15 minutes longer.

Ugh! Is right ... saw an advert on TV this evening. It looks pitiful.

Looks so pitiful it's scary. Cringe.

Just about everyone knows his name which is a publicist's dream! If he would only use his powers for good instead of evil <sigh>

I see that they use the term 'celebrity' fairly loosely now. Its pretty bad when you have to explain how most of these people are celebrities.

Aloof...bizarre...sarcastic...volatile...he is a CAT after all!

Who knows, if some of these people can get enough name recognition maybe they'll get a shot at Hollywood Squares. It could happen!

ARRRRRRR!!!!

maybe they'll get a shot at Hollywood Squares.

Not the middle square, though. Probably not even a corner. They have to be hoping for one of those middle ones, to give Bruce Vilanch a spell when he needs to focus on writing for an awards show.

What's sad is that we can use our "DAW Levels" to describe most of these people...

Oh dear, I've re-dorkulated!

See, and shakes even wanted me to close down this website... you need to have more faith in FOX folks -- no one else can do absolute junk as well as FOX can do absolute junk.

I'll share a secret... if it wasn't for the domain registration accidently getting auto-renewed back in March, it probably would be gone (although we've been hearing rumors about this celeb version since about then -- they probably had to wait for all these "celebrities" to have available time in their busy schedules, LOL )

Now THIS is going to be good summary material!

Actually, I'm intrigued by this, it'll be fun to watch these guys get yelled at, then cry on cue.

And since the first Boot Camp was so carefully scripted, this one can be also, since the celebs have had to follow scripts in the past (BAD scripts, to be sure, but scripts nonetheless!)

"Can I write the summary for this?"

What a crew. I can't wait to see Tiffany break a nail and Kato look for a place to sleep.

Sounds like great dis material.

"Yes, please do, I can't wait to read it!"

Actually, can we have 12 or 13 official summaries of this delightfully absurd program? It sounds like it deserves to be dissed in every way imaginable (which would be too much to expect of one single solitary summ writer).

ARRRRRRR!!!!

"Sure"

janisella, I'd love to read your summary of this show. Yes, you can do the *official* summary of it ... and if anyone wants to post an unofficial summary, feel free!

Ok, I've put September 30 on my calendar (another reason for my husband to think I'm completely bonkers). Let's hope these celebrities live up (or is it down) to their usual level of talent.

And to think I wasn't going to wander in to the Boot Camp site and I would have missed this wonderful news. LOL! Well it should be good for a laugh anyway.

Oh my god, I couldn't think of a more pitiful cast. I definitely won't be watching this crap again. It actually reminds me of what Britain is doing right now...a celebrity Survivor.

"But..."

...as I discuss in this thread, "Celebrity Survivor" has been a big hit in the UK, while "Survivor" itself has not. I guess the Brits are just a bunch of gossips at heart. Maybe that's why they keep the monarchy and peerage around?

I just wandered in here to see if there was anything going on here, and I find this.

WHAT A CAST !!!!!

I'm disappointed. I would have paid to see Carrot Top shave his head

If anyone's interested, here's an article from today's Chicago Sun-Times, from a Coolio POV:

Hehehe, the show actually wasn't too bad! Brings back old memories of the original show...but after awhile, the California desert gets old, so they need to have the next Boot Camp in a....greener...location, that is, if they have another one. I guess it will depend on the ratings....the celebrities were awful, but they made for a good laugh or two. And I have to admit, I was cheering for Kato and Coolio from the beginning...Kato dialing the wrong number and leaving a message on a stranger's answering machine was just priceless.

>Kato dialing the wrong
>number and leaving a message
>on a stranger's answering machine

That was the best moment of the show, and the sargeant's reaction was excellent.

I was disappointed that Traci Bingham did not win it in the end. She was the one that proved the most. Coolio just proved what a whiner he is.

Good show

Vitamin C was a bitter b!tch !!!!!

This is an old show, but i hope people still remember.

One of the episodes for this series was a team game where they carry a stretcher out of a valley and head towards the sandy beach. does anyone here know where that was filmed? Is it public access?

please send e-mail to booga@hawaii.com

Thank you!
