"Whose Turn To Officially Recap?"

Posted by AMAI on 11-18-02 at 07:49 AM
What happened to the list of official recappers for this board? It's very quiet in here. I have my recap ready to roll, but am waiting (as protocol requested) to post it until the offiical one goes up.

It isn't me who is officially doing it, is it? (Boy will I be covered in egg if so). Would you guys rather wait or do you want my recap up?

AMAI, the official summary and your summary are both up, so I don't think, an answer is needed regarding that, but I have something else to say.

It doesn't matter if the official summary is up or not. You should post your summary when you are ready. I don't remember any such rule around these forums and the moderators welcome as many summaries as possible.

Keep up the great work.

That's sweet of you Vsuri, and I appreciate your feedback in the Recap thread (and hope you enjoy part 2 as much as part 1)

In the Quick Question thread, I did receive feedback from numerous posters, including Sherpa Dave, for one. I received the impression that "alternate" recaps should not be posted until the Official Recap had been posted.

So I shall hold off on posting until & unless I hear from officialdom otherwise.

The response generally to my work has not been encouraging here. A few die-hard AMAI fans always respond and let me know they've enjoyed , and for that I'm grateful and indeed it is for you few that I've even bothered to continue to post here.

It just seems strange for a forum that seems to revolve around the recapping, so few people can be bothered to acknowledge that they've even read my work, let alone enjoyed it. So I'm thinking that they do not and/or have not.
