"few sporadic verbal slurs made on three separate and distinct occasions, each lasting only one to a few days, spread out over the course of four years.”

(Warning: VFTW article link. Non PG-13 commentary ahead: approach at your own risk.)

This isn't the first time Idol's been accused of homophobia and it won't be the last. (Most recent event: Adam not being allowed to talk about what the It Gets Better project was after singing a song written for it.) Rumors of producer slurs against contestants have been going around for a while: ones about attacking the staff are new. And no matter who it applies to, that quote is just amazing. Are you impressed when Casey holds a note for three seconds? A show employee can hold a slur for a few days! Circular breathing in action!

And if you're impressed by that? Wait until you see the circular reasoning to come.
