I can put up with all the sleeping around with the other doctors, I guess, but physical ghosts? Stretching their touch with reality too far.

Let me preface this post by saying: I watch General Hospital. The writers for GH steal stories from other shows. This time, I think Grey's stole a story from GH. Nikolas Cassadine had hallucinations and then his true love died. He started seeing her and even went so far as to make love to her. Turns out he had a brain tumor. He didn't want to remove the tumor because he didn't want to lose Emily. The second Izzie saw Denny, I said, "she has a brain tumor". If she starts having sex with a pillow, I'm sticking my thumbs in my eyes.

Poor Alex.

Shonda Rhimes has denied that Izzie has a brain tumor, but I don't believe her. I don't see any other explanation.

I liked Denny's character, but this ghost thing is just ridiculous! I think they are making a big mistake with this story line!

I agree. The problem with this whole thing is that Grey's Anatomy is supposed to be realistic (not defying the laws of nature in the real world).

Yes, the doctors rotating beds might be exaggerated but it could happen. And yes, the trauma cases seem a bit too sensational for reality (especially in the context of every episode has a great trauma case when reality might say that real doctors see it once or twice in their careers). But it could still happen.

The ghost sex is unrealistic. I could handle Izzy seeing Denny pass through the halls (because that is showing that she misses him greatly) but when she started interacting with him, the writers started on a slippery supernatural/sci-fi slope.

I like sci-fi but at least the premise has been set up from the beginning. For example, Star Trek is set in the future, so having spaceships and aliens shouldn't be a surprise. Lost established itself of going into strange phenomena by introducing the polar bear in the first episode and having Locke walk while on the island.


Three is the perfect number.

The whole story line is ridiculous. With all of the Katherine Heigl drama, some crazy ##### was bound to happen with Izzie. This is really over the top and annoying though..
On that note, Grey's has been an overall disappointment to me this season. I've watched every episode online because I'd rather be watching The Office at that time.
