Brackenread off to give the Boers a good kicking? It would have been sad to lose his character. I would have thought he was an NCO when he left, but there you go.

Julia marrying William. Now that her role has been taken by Grace I'm not sure how she will add to the show, although I must admit that whilst I think the character is great the actress playing Grace is sometimes quite poor.

Funnily enough it took a while for aeroplanes to start carrying bombs, initially they just observed.
