Well, the biggest WPT event of the year brought out the amateurs. We only have two pros (Hasan Habib and Martin de Knjiff) along with four amateurs. Martin has the chip lead, but anyone could take the title in the final event of the season (right in time for next week's start of the WSoP (pre main event) show on ESPN. Here is the WPT's official preview:

Well folks, here it is. The Season 2 WPT Championship at beautiful Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada. 343 players congregated at the epicenter of poker, paying $25,000 each to take their shot at the richest prize pool in the biggest poker game in history – $8,342,000. That’s no typo. The winner can rightfully claim the WPT Championship trophy and walk away with nearly $2,700,000. After the dust cleared from five ferocious days of qualifying play, six fresh faces had emerged from the crowd, four amateurs – former software developer Steve Brecher, UC Santa Barbara student Richard Grijalva, real estate attorney Russell Rosenblum, young Yale grad, Matt Matros – and two pros – Los Angeles journeyman and WPT regular Hasan Habib, and Stockholm pro Martin de Knijff. Now it’s down to who can keep their cool in the hottest pressure cooker in professional poker, and walk out a millionaire nearly three times over. This week, mark your calendar, because it’s the hottest poker night yet - the WPT Championship, on the Travel Channel...

It looks to be an exciting final night, and I think you have to favor the pro with the most money (Martin de Knjiff), but anybody can win!
