I'm sucked into another series. By the end of the second hour I had to know what was going to happen. Who is the killer, etc. It has the bleak, rain and overcast feel to it. Perfect match for a season long murder mystery.

Very good show. AMC is the go to network for good television drama. Story matters here indeed.

I am completely hooked on this show.

I am thinking the killer is going to turn out to be the slimy political operative - can't remember his name.

I finally watched the premiere last night. I'm hooked, although the gum-chewing is annoying.

With one episode to go do we think Richmond is the killer or a red herring?

They have to tie everything up next week. I was left with alot of questions lastnight. Like why did the mayor give Gwen the photos instead of the media? He has obviously had those photos of Richmond and could have hurt him in the campaign by releasing the photos to the media. Instead he gives them to Gwen. I wonder why?

Tom Dressler obviously is a bad dude and linked with the young hoookers. Is he setting Richmond up so he has something on him? He is believable as a killer.

Terri is a hooker and obviously had a connection with Jasper's rich dad who dissed her at the funeral. So he was probably connected with the young hookers too.

Richmond is too good to be true so he can be the killer and they can wrap it up with his wife's death. Maybe her car went into the water when she died and he is crazy.

I am thinking red herring. I think it's slimy political operative guy covering up for his boss so he can win the election.

Oh bah! Not happy with the end of the season. I did not want

to find out that the cop was a crook. It took half of a season, but I finally like him! And I wanted to know who was the killer. I thought we were going to find out who did it!?

Reactions to the finale have not been kind. Here's one particularly vitriolic backlash. (Ignore as many paragraphs as needed. I backhanded one.)

You can find equal, greater, or more blunt frustration with a bit of work -- or in some cases, the nearest mirror.

Big time disappointment for me. Although I don't think it actually was as bad as people were saying. I think the idea that it would be wrapped up is what is more annoying than anything else. Or...

the ridiculous plot holes. There is no way to excuse the lazy writing on so many things. Stan being able to visit his victim and wife without being recognized is one of the most glaring.

I thought the acting was good. I did really like Holder the most. Yes I was disappointed with the reveal about him but I can handle that if they make a plausible reason for it. Which in my opinion is going to be tough.

I have very low hopes for this show next season. I will tune in to see how they right this trainwreck.

You've been hotpocketed!

I liked this show, and the ending didn't throw me too much. I pegged Holder as the killer early on, so his actions didn't shock me.

Funny thought I had: As Linden gets the phone call on the plane, I expected her to turn to her son and say, "We have to go back, Jack!"

Wasn't Holder.

I liked the show and wasn't upset about it lasting two seasons. We'll see if it gets picked up.

I do a mean Holder impression: *mumble* "C'mon, Linden, be a good momz and let Little Man play X-box, for realz!" *mumble*

Season 2 was far better. It really picked up steam at the end. I enjoyed it although I did not think the killer was much of a surprise.

I do hope it gets picked up as I think they left a lot of intriguing character back stories to be filled in. I thought the acting was great in this.

As it turns out, you can irritate some of the people for a very extended time. Many of those who dropped out in frustration over the first season's ending didn't come back for the second -- and thus prevented a third.
