how early on are you talking here? First day, second day?

it could have been day1 with hutch screwing up on football, then earls underwear, then moly does'nt know where she is from.

Well, with Earls underware, they managed to get past that with him needing his glasses, and not wearing his contacts..
But Hutch didn't screw up too badly on the football thing, which Matt probably assumed was based on nervousness.
but the thing with Molly not knowing where she was from, that had to have been an incredibly close call..
If something DID happen where he talked to a producer or exec (a real one not an actor....) about a slip up on one of the actors parts, they would probably be in on it too to fool the other actors and audiance memebers, and maybe even the rest of the staff (if they didnt know Matt talked to one of them...) but maybe they wouldn't need to pay him off to do so.. some people LOVE to get revenge.. and what better way than to fool those who were going to try and fool him?

he would be doing it for the money, from what i have seen of him he is calm and thinks things out. i can see him figureing it out day one then wait till day 3 when they had 4 eps in the can. he would have them over the barrel. the tnn contract was for 10 ep's they would have to pay him then get someone else, so he could ask for anything he wants.

True, he could ask for anything he wants, but he doesnt seem like he would be THAT mean. His mother would probaly get upset with him if he pulled a stunt like that. Plus the guy seems too nice to want to do something like that... And the contract may say 10 episodes.. But its only 9, or it looks that way from the schedual on the SpikeTV website.. because you(atleast I think it was you..)mentioned in another thread about the GQ awards. From Oct. 12th to Oct 21, they are only showing episodes 7 and 8. So that either means the final is NOT on the 28th, or there is infact only 9 episodes. Unless, of course, they play episode 9 on another date, because of the GQ awards....

they play 2 ep's on the 28th. he went on for money and fame pre season scott stone said they had a choise ether they could edit him like rich from survivor 1 or how they edited him. that got me thinking he figured it out.

Thats true.. But a lot of people have that double personality thing when money is up for grabs. But don't forget, a few of the actors said he was such a nice guy, and Ashleigh said something about him acting in a way that all the girls would be "I love him" or something like that...and I cant remember how Rich acted in survior 1.. that seems so long ago for me, and I have trouble remembering things for last year..

And so thats how they will do it then... My mother will not be too happy with that, she'll have to stay up late to watch both episodes..

I'd say "pretty good acting Matt" I see you doing someting for Court TV, any nibbles?

We could "what if" our way to infinity and beyond - it will make you crazy. What if after Matt paid off the producer, the producer went back to the cast and said, "Matt's in on it"

I think that's the least likely scenario. Even Lance (Kip) admitted in an interview that the actors themselves were wondering early on if Matt was a mole, but then that was dispelled (in their minds) after the Earl eviction. So IF Matt is an actor, the fellow houseguests admit he's a phenomenal actor...but for him to be a 'real' guy who after a point early on was making stuff up the rest of the way is too outlandish for me to believe. Interesting concept though.

how hard is it to play dumb? they do all the work he just responds, and bugs his eyes out. in his part not alot of acting requierd.

It isn't hard to play dumb, but sometimes it is very difficult to not let things slip out and to question something..

anytime he would question something the actors would change the subject to hide that they were actors, they would do all the work.

You make it sound easier than it is. He could force them to stay on the subject.

why would he force them to stay on the subject if he wanted to hide that he does'nt know?

because it is so much fun to try and trap people in what they say. That way he could get them to stay on their toes, and make them work even harder.

why would he care if there on there toes he would just want to get it over with and get the money.

Wouldn't you want to have a little fun if you could in a situation like the one you are describing?

well maybe lance can tell me what if he found out in ep4 and called you out on it and left what were the producers ready to do with 6 shows left.
