"LOL! Greg *slams* Erin!!!"

We have to take those small, priceless RTV minutes as we get them. From Zora and Evan's "Disney" date, to the Survivor II elimination of Jerri Manthey, to Toni's bug-eyed beach attacks, they have to be appreciated for being a "diamond in the trash" (thanks for that slogan, Emmitt Smith!)

We saw one here on FLOM2, when Erin was booting Greg. She was telling him that he didn't open himeself up to her, and his reply was unswerving, accurate, and devastating as he reminded her that she never would go on a one-on-one date with him. Oops! A little "camera-jump" due to some editing there!?!?! Erin was clearly shaken up by that, and I loved it. Good job, Greg!

I have to agree. I loved that line. Kinda hard to open up to someone sitting in the house alone while they're on dates with everyone else..lol. Bet he's wishing he took the money and run last week too.

I agree - she deserved that little comment and so much more. She should at least have given him a chance. Makes no sense at all!

You're right... it makes absolutely no sense at all to have kept Greg this long, and not even show the courtesy of having ONE one-on-one date with the guy.

In fairness, I think Greg was going to be waxed LAST week, but Vic took the money and said "SEE-Ya!".

What was funny was Erin's stupidity in her reasons for booting Greg, and his throwing it right back in her face. I don't blame him a bit. He SHOULD feel angry at being carried that far, but being given no QT with Erin.

oh I knew she was planning to boot Greg last week when Vic took the money and ran. So she was left with someone she had no interest in. She tried to come up with a reason for booting him and he didn't say the proper answer. LOL! She had no interest in a personal date with Greg and I think she was trying to teach Eric a lesson by leaving him out. Make him wonder and want her more. The way Erin talks all she is interested in is the money not the love connection. But the guys still think they can have both. It must be getting time to tell them they can't keep both. And next week wise Eric states he thinks Erin knows about the money.

I don't think she was trying to teach Eric a lesson by not choosing him for a date last episode, but rather trying to be fair. She had chosen him for a personal date the episode before that so in all fairness, Chad and Wade deserved time with her last episode. She wasn't at all interested in Greg and had Vic not taken the money, she would've booted Greg last round.

Well, it was obvious she was not attracted to Greg at all! Instead of being a ##### and telling him that, she tried to let him down nicely. Would you want to go on a one-on-one date with someone you're absolutely not attracted to?

All Erin had to say is "I know we didn't go on any one-on-one dates, but I feel more chemistry with the other guys."

Erin's bogus attempt to put the blame on Greg, saying he didn't reach out to her, was lame, and Greg threw it right back in her face.

"COLD FISH START TO SMELL WITHOUT ICE"

He might as well get together with an inflatable doll... he'd have better luck than with a cold fish like Erin.

First Erin doesn't want to kiss Rob so she wouldn't have feelings for him, then she says he just grabbed her heart, then she gave it up a little bit more, then she couldn't even hug the guy, then she's all lip in FLOM2. How does she sleep at night?

Well, she just proved to the world she's nothing but a money-hungry whore! Why else did she choose to keep Rob this time around? If he wasn't good enough to choose over the money before, why is he good enough now? Well, that's because he's most likely to pick her over the money (because he did before) so he's her safety net! I'd love to see her face when she picks him and he decides to go for the money instead!!!!

How does she sleep at night?

Probably in a "spoon" position with whichever producer of the show whose turn it is...

That was great! She should have just been honest with him and told him she didn't feel any chemistry, instead of putting the blame on him.

"Loved it...."

Greg had every right to say what he said. What I'd do to hear what they edited from the conversation! Erin....I've pretty much thought she was a sharp chick and all (still do for the most part), but keeping Eric or Greg......not a smart move!

Ugh!

She totally made the right decision to keep Eric. He's the only one who seems to have any real connection with her. Wade is so phoney, you can smell him a mile away. Chad isn't a bad guy but given the money or Erin, I can see him going for the money.

His reply was completely rational, and she definitely does not like being put in her place. When Greg said that, her face said, "Just give me the bleeping ring and get the bleep out!" She's not even capable of being considerate enough to throw Greg a bone and let him know that it's not him, it's her. I wish they could do alternate endings on these things.

But it really wasn't Erin..... It was Greg right from the beginning. Remember Greg was the one who wouldn't "cooperate" on the pole with Erin but did it all his own way. Sorry folks but I'm actually going to take Erin's side on this one. Unusual but true.

Well, I guess it would have been so much better for all ya'll hatas if she would have just laughed in his face and said "as if you had any real chance." Tell the truth, she's a beatch. Try to let him down easy, she's insincere, at best.

Greg was just the latest in the long line of losers who couldn't hang with a woman who is out of his league. Yeah, I said it. Out loud, too. I wish she would have said he should be grateful that Vic took the cash like the little wimp that he is cause it bought him (Greg)a few extra days.

As for the not opening up because he didn't have any one-on-ones, well, it seems the other guys earned those opportunities by doing just that on the group dates.

If you're not gonna step up and make your own breaks ala Eric and Wade, then get the hell out.

If you think she's an insincere beeyatch then why do you think she's out of anyone's league? What the (bleep) is a hatta, anyway?

It's total role reversal, and based on the huge cross Greg was wearing around his neck on that one episode (and his general demeanor), I don't think he's quite that liberated or evolved enough to make the most of the a situation like this one. Makes you wonder why these guys agreed to the show in the first place.

Chad seems so frustrated by the process, so it makes you wonder what HE thought he was signing up for.

Making them sit around the phone and wait was rather choice, if I do say so myself. Each side (men and women) get to see what the other side goes through.

so it makes you wonder what HE thought he was signing up for.

It's becoming apparent, on this and other reality TV shows, that these contestants have agents, and their agents get them these gigs.

Yes, I think some guys had no clue what they were signing up for. And some of them play this thing for what it is: a television program. Others play it as if it were Survivor... or for real.

"NASH IS AN IMPOTENT SCHMOE!"
Posted by Guppin1234 on 08-18-03 at 06:17 PM
I think they are trying to show that the correlations in behavior are the same. In other words, every day people will do anything to get the coveted "part" (so to speak) as do people in sHOw biz. Yet another example of Nash's sadistic insecurity.

If they DO have agents, they are being taken for another ride, as no one in the biz would take them seriously. They had to throw in some naive/innocent guys to try to validate the show.

Nash probably has a problem with past intimacy, securing a mate or overall impotency, and the only way he can have sex is to play mind games with his viewing audience and game show participants. These programs probably shadow his own life in some way, and I can't figure out who he dislikes more, men or women? as I'm sure neither would never pick him out of a crowd to engage in conversation unless paid to do so.

It's like the Marquis de Sad meets The Price is Right.
