Oh, how I hate them. So far they have annoyed me in the following ways:
1. They are flat out effing stupid. I can't even really list all the ways that they exhibited their stupidity. They just sort of ooze stupidity the way some people ooze sexuality. The whole constantly-running-out-of-money bit was a shining example, though.
2. Susan is wound so tight I think she might blow up at any moment. Normally, I find this wildly amusing a la Colin, but in her, it is just frigging annoying as hell. I want to smack her and sedate her. She damn near came unglued at the end of the first episode. I cannot even imagine how painful it would be to watch her at the end of this race, should she make it that far. Thanks to number 1, I don't think she has a snowball's chance in hell.
3. Patrick is a pansy-ass whiner. I thought that "Come on, Baby!" was the most annoying thing that I could hear on TAR. How wrong I was. Patrick's constant reference to "Rob and Amber" is a gajillion times more irritating. I have taught ninth graders that are more mature than Patrick. And, I might add, more physcially impressive than Patrick. He is...well, I can't even really think of any adjectives to appropriately describe him other than simpering.
4. Their voices are like nails on a chalkboard. O.M.G. What octave do they speak in? Dogs throughout South America must have suffered permanent and irrepairable ear damage from these two. The incessant whiiiiinnnnnnnggggg is just inhuman.
5. Their collective obsession with beating Rob and Amber is frightening. Can you imagine what it must have been like to grow up with Susan as your Little League mom? Yikes!!!
6. Then there is their picture:
Susan reminds me of that annoying character from the Newhart Show. I can't remember the girl's name, but I'm sure someone here can refresh our memories. Anyway, that character was a total tool on the show and Susan is no better in real life. Who the hell smiles like that? She looks deranged. Patrick is 26 and looks 15. That is not normal. He probably still lives at home, sleeps in a twin bed and wears footed jammies. He describes himself as Machevellian and strategic which means he's just really, really good at Yu Gi Oh.
I anxiously await their demise.

Oh way to put the smackdown on them, Kimmah.
I want them out, but first I want to see them totally break down, it's coming very soon, you can already see them fraying around the edges.
Completely irritating from about 10 minutes into the frist episode.
He is a wuss, she is the scary neighbor you avoid. I predict they will turn on eachother and she will tell everyone he is a bedwetter.
I saw around here somewhere, where people are refeering to them as a "Power Couple". Is that a new term for "weak and annoying"?

But I found another reason to hate them:
They've been in an alliance with my own personal villain team,
Debbianca. Both of those teams annoy the crap outta me.

I can't wait for those two teams to get Philiminated.

I was sooooo ready to cheer against Romber until the incessant whining these two have done about them. I am now hoping Romber kick their a$$es thoroughly. In fact, I'm pretty much cheering for them to kick everyone's a$$es due to the collective stupidity and vapidity of the rest of the pack. But Susan and Patrick have a special place in my despising heart.

From day one i thought that these two are seriously strange people....
As someone said already, with the mother like that - no wonder the boy turned gay...

This post was so funny, I had to sign up as a member! Susan reminds me of the mother I'm glad I didn't get. As for Patrick, his Romber fetish makes me actually root for the 'needs-to-go-to-the-store-and-buy-a-personality' team. These two are the most annoying of the three TARs I've seen. At least last season, we didn't have to see MaryAdam with Mommy in tow.
I think this is cruel and unusual punishment for TAR viewers. I so wanted them gone last week. Sigh.

But just for one more week. Why? Because Pusstrick was so annoyingly insistant they were done, I wanted them to just barely beat Team Geritol V7.0, just to piss him off.
Even sweeter would have been a non-elim round where he was forced to beg for cash. Seeing him humbled would have been very entertaining.

Although...the Lynn/Alex obsession with Romber is starting to annoy me, as if Patrick's obsession transferred itself to them.
