I understand there's a lot of fanfic out there which has them hooking up with each other.

Of course, to write about Sheldon getting together with anyone is to pretty much miss the whole point. As far as I can get into his mind (which is not a pleasant experience), he regards Penny as a combination of acquaintance, pet, friend-of-a-friend, and having his twin sister living next door while still threatening to beat him up. (Mostly twin sister with some 'pet' thrown in.) The only way to get those two in bed with each other would be the return of the Arctic heat loss incident. And Penny might still try out an hour of freezing to death before giving in.

Until directly proven otherwise by his own actions, Sheldon's asexual. Period.

Seek out the fanfic at your own risk.

Very irritated with our DVR right now. It didn't record Survivor on Wednesday and didn't record BBT last night. Both times the TV was off. It recorded everything else when the TV was on. I had to reset it a week ago because it was taking five minutes or more to even come on.

Hopefully they will post the full episode online soon.

From what I have read, things are likely to go the other way, at least in the short term, as Kaley Cuoco has broken her leg and will be missing some filming (they are not writing the leg injury into the plot).

I am amazed, this season has been generally disappointing, the writers seem to be running out of ideas, the character of Sheldon is being changed in a way I am not enjoying. I would have given it one more season to see if it can pull itself together.

I'm still following the show, but it is running out of steam. Howard & Bernadette got married, and may become less interesting.

OK I was wrong, they changed the show into a Sheldonfest and it didn't work. Since they refocussed it has got funnier.
