Sorry to see him go after last week's performance; there were others I would rather have seen out of there, but this was understandable.

If it weren't for his elimination taking Sharna out with him, I wouldn't miss Tavis at all. Never heard of him before DWTS.

He's got an interview show on PBS, and is quite respected there. He's interviewed people from all over the board, from brain scientists to the Clintons to movie stars to whoever. One smart dude. This was totally out of character for him, which is apparently why he gave it a shot.
