LAST EDITED ON 02-12-09 AT 07:41 PM (EST)I don't think it was the record contracts or songs on soundtracks.
Plenty of plants have had that, heck a few have had run-ins with judges that probably aren't any worse than Kara writing songs for her boyfriend.
I was think it was her being BFF's with a couple of 19E (who runs idol) executives getting into the mainstream press like TV Guide rather than just being internet/tabloid fodder that got her yanked.
I think the appearance that she got through Hollywood week not because she could remember lyrics but because some of the upper bosses are her pals is the problem. Well that and someone that likes to pretend to be Joanna at least one place on the internet has been bragging that she will get a wild card slot because of all her connections even if America won't vote for her. It may be someone just playing games, but it rings just a little too close to the apparent situation.

The magazine reported that two producers at 19 Entertainment, which produces "Idol", Michelle Young and Roger Widynowski, had connections with Pacitti.
Sources told Star that Joanna had called Young her "manager" and "best friend," and that Widynowski helped her "get where I am today."
Not only that, the three reportedly lived in the same apartment complex for years.
