"The Big Twist"

Just wanted to start this to get people's opinions on what the "big twist" will be.

Based on how things are going, I wouldn't be surprised to see a guest appearance by Chubby Checker. . .

It might turn out to be nothing.

It might be that "wedding" that is supposedly staged.

It might be that, in reality, Zora is rich.

It might be that Zora (being psychic) already knows the truth about Evan.

But it could also turn down another path. They might actually admit this whole freakin' show was staged and everyone knew.

You see, I am wondering what is going to take TWO hours to accomplish in this finale. Hell, they didn't even have final dates, just a walk in the park to stage a re-crap episode.

So this twist is going to be something that allows expansion into two hours. Or else this is going to be an incredibly boring two hours.

Last, why Zora has been brought this far is beyond me (Disney notwithstanding), so I think it was scripted for her to be here at the end. To that end, it is likely that Zora is part of, or heavily involved with, the twist.

I think this might be it. It certainly would explain how ridiculous this show and its "characters" have been.

My other thought was what people have been saying for a while, that Evan really is filthy rich after all.

I'm with you DAWG...don't know WTF is going to take 2 hours to do next week, unless they really spend alot of time on the reactions of the 18 DAWS that got dumped.

As far as the twist goes....the Chubby Checker idea is funny....but I actually heard a rumor on a Houston radio station that said the reason Evan was on a bulldozer was that he OWNED a big construction company! And did you notice they have an aftermath show planned where they say they will update us on how Evan is getting along since the show....kinda weird.

Plus, maybe I missed it before, but I don't remember anything said in any other episode about a twist....does anybody else???

The way Paul did it last night saying "I have refused to comment before about a supposed twist, but I will say now that there is a big one"......seemed like that part may have been shot much later, after the show started airing and people like us started talking about a twist....thoughts??

I never considered that he might own a construction company. It wouldn't be unusual for a CEO/president/founder to pay himself a small salary (some CEOs have reported earnings of $1 a year), and pay the company a large salary. The company can own the house in Dana Point and Evan can take advantage of tax loopholes. Any CPAs out there to comment on this?

I know that this is done quite often, but is Evan really that smart?

I also considered this theory too. I used to work for a blood-sucking scumbag who paid himself a modest salary (and me) and then purchased a lot of things that the business owned. I even tried to do a little research to find out Evan's status in the construction world but didn't really come up with anything. But that certainly would be a good explanation for his $19k income.

Of course, now that all of us are feeling pissed off and fully expecting a twist that Zora really is rich or that they knew it all along, etc. ... the twist is going to be that they really did not know and Evan really is a $19K schmuck who's about to get slapped around by the winner and the other rejected girls.

Some possibilities:

Evan is really a pile of dirt from one of his construction sites and he's gonna disintegrate next Monday night.

Evan finds out that he and Snuffleuppagus were switched at birth and he is the rightful heir to the Sesame Street fortune.

Lurch and Cousin It make a guest appearance, and both fall in love with Evan.

But more likely...

Evan tells both Snora and Sarah-ah-ooh-ah-ooh-ah that he is poor, then tells both of them that if they will still accept him for who he is, excuse me for a sec ... BLOOEAAAaeeeghhaahhgg

{wipes off chin}

uh, if they indeed like him for who he is, then they should show up at that purdy candle-lit room at midnight. Whoever shows up, wins Evan. If both show up, then Evan gets to choose.

There seemed to be a suspenseful shot of the entrance to that room in the preview, as if even Evan didn't know who was going to come through the door.

Then, one of the ho's takes the bait, Evan announces that he is the world richest dumb guy, and they all live happily ever after.

Edited to fix grammaticalness.

I really like this idea. I would not be surprised if it is the truth.

I also liked thndrkttn's (sp?) idea that after Evan tells them Fox will come in and give him a million...

Okay, I cannot take credit for these ideas as I heard them on the radio but a few scenarios would include:

1. Evan really owns the construction company he works for. (whatever.boring)

2. Evan is going to tell the girls that he is not a millionaire, wait for their reactions and then Fox is going to step in and give Evan a million so he will be, in fact, a millionaire and then watch the girls backpeddle.

3. They are going to give a million to the chosen girl and then make her choose whether she keeps the million or Evan. Well, that's no brainer.

I think there was one more but I am distracted by something called work...will add another post when I think of it.

I think it will be either #2 or #3. If it is #1 then that would be a really lame twist.

Well the way they show Evan in the candlelit room waiting next week we can assume he doesn't know if the girl will accept him without money. But it might be that we are shown the reactions of the 2 women when he tells them the truth. But we don't get to see which woman he picks after he tells them. Then we have to wait with Evan to see who the woman is that might show up. Evan is left wondering if she will show up and we are wondering who the "she" is. And if she shows up they are given money or told Evan is really rich. The winner should be rewarded if she will take Evan even without the millions. If she doesn't accept him without the money she will be told that she lost the chance for money afterall.

joe is an idiot - most likely shocking twists:

1. sarah wanted to make sure she got a peice of the 50 mill -- she's pregnant w/lil' joe...'mwah, slurp...' what the hell is 'mwah'?
2. joe confesses he drives a dump truck - he gets stood up & then Fox really gives him a million bucks.
3. joe picks zoro...tells her the real secret & then she reveals she's really a man.
4. zoro is herself a millionairre (on account of her being a psychic and all) and knew all along that evan was broke
5. evan declares that he is just a working man of the earth's soil & only a mud wrestling contest can determine the true woman for him.

Evan tells both girls the "truth". Sarah freaks, Zora doesn't. Evan gives Zora time to 'think about it' and tells her to show up in the grand ballroom if she is still interested in him. Zora shows, 'cause it was never about the money for her.

Now Princess Zora kisses the enchanted frog Evan. Fox, in the form of Alex steps in and gives him a check for $1 million making him the real deal Joe "Millionaire". It's just like a Fairy Tale come true! So of course they have a Ball, and a 'practise' 'pretend' or 'just for fun' fake wedding.

Oh yeah--the twist is that Heidi was knocked up by Paul when she was doing every thing she could to be chosen. She is suing Fox and Paul for $50 million.

Now that is fvcking funny!!!! LMAO!!!!

I really am leaning towards the scenario where he confesses to both girls..and asks them to join in the Ballroom at midnight if they still want to have a relationship...if both show he picks one.......then we find out either:

1)He really is filthy rich but wanted a way to find a woman that would love him for the clumsy doufas that he is
2)Fox give him the "big check for a mil"

But I would rather see all 20 hoes....just beat the living crap out of him...now that would be reality tv!!

1) we find out the show is actually sponsored by pepsi. zora, sarah and joe all stand with pepsis that they unzip and that turn into pepsi twists.
2) in keeping with the "things aren't as they appear" theme, we find out that zora is really a man(zoro). evan is really a woman(ivana). sarah is a hermaprodite that has had caterpillars transplanted onto her face above her eyes(harry/sarah).
3) harry/sarah and zoro decide that they have really gotten to know each other well over the course of the show and they want to be together. they leave evan alone in the ballroom and they run off and get married.
4) however, ivanna and paul have grown to really apreciate each other over the course of the show and paul decides to meet ivana in the ball room.
5) alex mcleod is replaced by jerry springer.
6) the show ends with another shot of a very disgruntled looking hiedi saying, "whatever"

ok. time for me to lay off of the caffiene and the codiene cough syrup...

The "big twist" will be that Evan's really dead, and only Zora can really see him cuz she's "psychic". Notice how he's always wearing the same clothes and everyone else looks at him like he's not really there?

Regardless of what the "big twist" is, someone needs to teach the folks at Fox how to do this properly. How many times last night in a five minute promo for next week's finale did we hear about this friggin' "twist". OK, there's gonna be a twist and it's gonna be big, we get it already. They built it up SO much last night that unless it turns out that Paul is really the rich guy and Evan is his bastard lovechild and Zora is his long lost sister, I'm not going to be surprised.

Cripes, why am I watching this damn show?

too funny Fester!!!!!

I see dead People!!! LMFAO

Cripes, why am I watching this damn show?

cause Fox learned a long time ago that unless it is Football season, there is nothing else worth watching on Monday night...if I am not mistaken I think Temptation Island was on Monday's too!

I could be mistaken...damn sure wouldn't be the first time...or the last

Hey mole fans. I betcha didn't know I was lurking here, but I have been, and finally have something to add.

I absolutely do not think that Evan is a millionaire. Anyone that believes he is must be seriously delusional. Everything about him screams "simpleton!" The man can't have a decent conversation and is obviously only interested in boobs and drinking. Now, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that -- I like boobs and drinking too, but if I were searching for a mate, I'd be more interested in who these women were as people and what their personalities were.

Evan is exactly what he appears: a hamburger-eating, beer-drinking, ditch-digging 19K a year-earning poon hound. Good for him, but he aint a millionaire.

My husband heard on the radio this morning that the latest rumor is that all the women were in on it and are all "actors"... the only one playing the game is Evan. i think this is lame, but still, wouldn't that be funny?

Hmmm - that would be interesting but seems unlikely. And wouldn't it be illegal for Sarah to be 'slurping' for money? Although this is in Europe....

That would be a very interesting twist......but I can't imagine that these girls are that good of actors!!!!

as far as "gulping" for money goes Bucky.....wouldn't be the first porno shoot she has ever done would it.....could've been the reason she was cast for that role......experience!

Femme, that's the best & funniest idea yet! It totally turns the tables & qualifies as real twister of a twist! (wishes I had thought of it)

I wondered how Sarah & Joe managed to "slip" away from their cameraman. Remember--there was no footage, not even long distance, blurry footage. Fox just let them go when they could have scored hot footage, and I don't think Fox would be squeemish about filming the hot stuff. All we really heard was Sarah's fakey moans, groans, slurps & gulps. Could have been studio-added anytime.

I would love the joke to be on us and Joe. (Wonders how long it will take dim-witted Joe to understand the twist's explanation)

Actually I think they did get footage but either it was too much for even FOX to show (that's a scary thought) or they thought the subtitle thing would be funnier than the actual act.

You might be right. I think the girls are actors... and I think Evan is, also. This whole dawggone show is a big fraud, IMHO.

On the TBS station, Zora is in a Longhorn restaurant commercial (part of the crowd scene). Three people here at work have seen it and swear it's Zora. With a name like Longhorn, you would think Sarah would be in it *snicker*

I love the idea of the girls all being actors!!! That would explain the large California pool of girls.
