No matter how much "it tears the women apart", I still see the women + Joe and maybe Tai voting for:

A few initial thoughts:

- Wow, that tiger is absolutely beautiful. Have we seen this specific animal imagery before this season or is this the first time? I was just re-watching Jeff's preseason cast assessment last night, and as I recall, Debbie has a bathing suit with a lion or tiger on it.

- Julia's pretty smiling face while just laying around with the guys juxtaposed with Aubry's serious (even stern) faces cracks me up. Story of Beauty vs. Brains.

- Re Screen cap 18 with Cydney, Joe, Debbie etc. eating alone -- could this be the group left behind in the reward (referred to in the clues)? Or just camp life? Also Debbie seems to have a big welt / infection on her back. I was just listening to Neal's Survivor Fans Podcast last night and he said there was definitely Staph on the Brains beach and that even a producer who was covering the Brains tribe got sent home mid-season for medical care because of a bad Staph infection in his/her heal.

- Interesting that we don't see Michele in any of these vidcaps!

This was a schoolyard pick again. The Julia comments probably come post reward since she was bonding with the guys over winning or losing reward and could be misdirection for the week (unless she was a captain again, which I doubt).

So for the reward it appears to be:
- Cydney, Aubry, Michele and Debbie (yellow)
- Scott, Jason, Julie and I believe Tai (blue)
- This would explain Julie hanging out with the guys and the concern about her playing the middle

Re IC;
- There's a sneak peek clip posted below
- Seems like Michele is doing well and Jason's all crash in the clip, but this is the kind of challenge that could be anyone's / could come down to one random knock at the end, so hard to call
- If either Jason/Scott pull out a win, that would screw up the girls' plans given they have an idol to protect them too
- If neither win, will they play an idol before the vote or lean o Tai to try for the super idol after the vote….should be interesting!

The shots that are interesting to me are the ones that appear to be post-IC, where we see the girls conspiring with Julie but no Debbie…..then Aubry with Cydney and Aubry with Joe….then that shot of Debbie walking alone on the beach. Getting the vibe that Debbie could be a potential target this week in addition to Jason/Scott.

Nice to see happy Cydney vs. angry Cydney at the end.

P.S. Wow, that appears to be a huge bandage on Aubrey's leg. Didn't notice that before. Not sure if that's a good sign or a bad sign or just a precaution.

I saw that bandage last week too. Can't say for 100% because I've deleted the recording and I can't review it, but I'm 90% sure it was there.

In Nick's interviews he says that Aubry had the infection lanced and drained by Medical.

Aubry was not wearing the bandage during the Reward Challenge but she was wearing it during the Immunity Challenge

and in one of her Extra Videos.

Gross. My son had something like this on his stomach when he was little and it was extremely painful. Being in the water (unless chlorinated) is actually not so good for it.

Neal said in his Survivor Fans Podcast that one of the producers on the Brains beach had to leave during the game to have medical treatment for a staph infection on his/her heel.

Oceanic salt water is actually good for preventing infections.

Fresh water can carry a number of different microbes, usually deposited there by animals in fecal matter. Did the Brains beach have a fresh water creek emptying into the ocean nearby? Because while the salt water will kill or dilute most bacteria, it takes some time and if they were spending time in water that still had living bacteria (I.e. the estuary of the creek) and also had open wounds (i.e. insect bites), then the source of those problems is pretty obvious.

They should have swum out a little farther.

A separation in tribes leads to the ultimate sabotage. Also, a schoolyard pick draws a line in the sand at a tough reward challenge, on Survivor, Wednesday, April 13 at 8/7c. Only CBS

So is it just an easy / obvious Scot vote-out this week? Or will something more interesting happen? You'd think there would be more hype if a blindside or idol (or a threat of the super idol) comes into play.

I suspect that a Jason boot, even a straightforward Jason boot, would be sufficiently audience pleasing to attract high viewer ratings. Which, of course, is the real competition.

Also, a schoolyard pick draws a line in the sand at a tough reward challenge

Sydney could have been the captain and picked all the girls, OR, either Jason or Scot were the captain and picked all the boys plus Julia.

Or they are lying to us and production divided the teams this way to give Scot and Jason a chance to save themselves.

Michel, I'm with you. Seems suspicious how the teams play out. But this week's clues imply it's a schoolyard pick.

I wonder in this Reward Challenge even though it appears that the all Women Blue (Aubry/Cydney/Debbie/Michele) team is ahead unbraiding their rope

that they actually lose to the Yellow team (Jason/Scot/Tai/Julia)?

This photo looks like maybe Jason and Tai are looking out to the ocean and see a boat approaching to take them to their Reward?

And is this the Losing tribe at camp?

And is this the Winning team passed out after gorging themselves on their Reward?

Also, the ONLY Screen Grabs after the Immunity Challenge are all of the Women & Joe

Actually, if you look closely, you can see the yellow post that supports the bar that the rope is tied to. To me, it actually looks like the boys and Julia are ahead. Look how much the girls have left, then look at the guys braided rope....it's untangled farther, I think...

Sheldor and FloPo, agree with both of your observations. I think the guys + Julia win based on the camp shots, etc.

Also, we need to keep in mind that there is another segment to the challenge at the end that involves throwing. We only see Cydney doing that section, but assuming that the guys would excel at that.

Based on the RC pics, I think the schoolyard pick reward challenge line in the sand is about Julia. Julia ends up on the guys tribe because Debbie, Aubrey, or Cydney never pick her as it's likely one of them would be picking.
