WOW that was bad. I really haven't like Camille either, but John tonight...I'm pretty much tone deaf, and I was thinking that I might've sounded better. I'm not a huge fan of his voice to start with (I dunno why, but the sound of it kinda creeps me out), but at least he's usually on pitch. I think he's probably gone tomorrow...

I thought that Camille, Diana, John Stevens, Jasmine & Fantasia were terrible today. I don't understand what makes people like Fantasia's voice, I'm not trying to be rude here but she sounds like Donald Duck on crack. I can't stand her attitude either. JPL started of lame but I think in the middle he sounded great up to the end. Jennifer, Latoya and George blew me away, they were great.

Camille was BY FAR the worst of the night. The difference between Camille and John, is that John can actually sing. He has a good voice. Camille sounds like she can't breathe at all when she sings. I don't think I've ever heard someone who sounds more nasal. Listening to her makes ME want to blow my nose. I have no idea what the judges hear in that voice, it's hideous. (I thought bLeah was better!)

So, I'm off to throw a few votes to John. I don't think he deserves to go before that snot head, and I'll do what I can to prevent it from happening.

(hey HE? What are you smoking? Jasmine is no where near the loser that Camille is.)

jasmine couldn't carry a tune in a bucket if someone put it in there for her. she needs to spend a few years with a good vocal coach/choir director before she's capable of being in this competition

i'm not saying camile is better than her (although I've thought her performances the past 2 weeks HAVE been better than Jasmine's, if no one else's), but i think she WOULD be if she had more confidence (that said, if Jasmine was better trained, all the confidence in the world probably wouldn't put Camile over her)

I think, regardless of performance, John's got a very specific fan base that will carry him until some Big Band / Swing theme night. And then if he doesn't deliver... it's bye bye Johnny Red.

I have to agree with you on that one. I feel bad, cuz he seems like a really sweet kid, but every week he puts me to sleep. His voice is definitely too Sonatra and NOT American Idol. I doubt many people would buy his music.

John Sinatra was awful tonight but I definitely have to say that carmen..errr..goat girl...err...camile still is the worst. She sounds like a fat man trying to get to a free hamburger, then has to sing for his supper.

He was so bad it was painful to watch and listen to. I think I heard dogs howling in the neighborhood during his song.

Camille? Also bad but in a different way. While John was out of tune, Camille was just pathetic. I couldn't hear most of song (but is that a bad thing?) and once again she looked terribly uncomfortable on stage and the dancing was bad. She does not deserve to be there. With training John can probably do well in the entertainment industry. Camille is a lost cause.

I have a bad feeling John will go tonight and we'll be stuck with Camille for another week.
