I just received the 02/17/03 issue of US Weekly (embarrassedly admitting I subscribe) and read the article on "Sarah on Her Secret Past". Some highlights:

Q: Did you tell Joe Millionaire producers about this ?
A: You can't go on these reality shows if you have something to hide...I told them that I had done some foot-fetish modeling...I never thought that it would ever be a big deal.

Q: Did you know you were modeling for pornographers?
A: I thought it was going to be like the coffee table books of people's feet and shoes.

Q: How did you react when you learned about the real nature of the Joe Millionaire show?
A: I was suspicious from the start. Who would inherit $50 million and then call Fox looking for a girlfriend?

Q: Anything else make you suspicious?
A: Evan would slip up on his story. One time I asked him if he'd ever come live in California. He said, "I would if I had the money." I'm kicking him under the table trying to help him out.

To be fair and play devil's advocate: I think she meant that when she signed up for the foot fetish stuff, it would be still photos, etc. Obviously that did not stop her from going forward with it once she learned the true nature of what she was doing...
