ADVISORY: Vote threads are open to all who wish to participate and cast their votes, spoilers and non-spoilers alike. The posts initiating these threads contain no spoiler information other than perhaps referencing what has been revealed in TV promos for the upcoming episode. Non-spoilers, be advised that spoilers may include information in their posts here which you may not wish to read. Spoilers, please do not include spoiler information for future episodes, stick to the episode in question. Thank you.

The DAWS

Cast your vote for the Survivor you think is going home tonight:

Bayon Tribe

Andrew Savage
Ciera Eastin
Jeremy Collins
Joe Anglim
Kass McQuillen
Keith Nale
Kimmi Kappenberg
Monica Padilla
Stephen Fishbach
Tasha Fox

Takeo Tribe

Abi-Maria Gomes
Jeff Varner
Kelley Wentworth
Kelly Wiglesworth
Peih-Gee Law
Shirin Oskool
Spencer Bledsoe
Terry Deitz
Woo Hwang

The Rules

1. Put the name of your choice for this week's boot in the subject heading.

This is easy, just erase the bit in the subject heading where it says "Re: SurvivorBlowsTribe, Time to Vote..." and replace with your vote, "pick a name." Or, if you think this will be a two-boot ep.: "name picked & pick a name 2." It doesn't matter which order you put them in unless it matters to you.

This makes it easier to tally votes quickly and accurately. Nicknames are tougher to tally unless they are really obvious without actually reading your post. Other things you want to vote on ("challenge winner, HII details, twists, any nonsense you have noted from the previous episode") should go in your post not in your subject line.

2. Reply only to this post. But to change your vote do reply to your own vote post.

Your new heading should read, for example, "VOTE CHANGE: pick a name 3" Or perhaps "VOTE CHANGE: pick a name 3 & pick a name 4" if you think it will be a two-boot ep.

3. This is not a discussion thread, it's not it's not it's not, do not treat it as such.

There are plenty of places here to debate the merits of people's arguments, have discussions, have civil and polite disagreements: this is a vote thread. But please feel free to discuss your vote(s) in your own post, "joke filler", we are really interested in what you have to say.

4. No graphics.

Unless they are pertinent to something in this episode. Siggies allowed.

5. Have fun!

Thanks Dabo!

Got to go with Abi. She just cannot seem to keep herself in check.

I've talked my self out of thinking Abi-Marie is next. I think her sweet little self will survive at least one more week, and her best friend, PeiGee will not.

I have been advised that it is disrespectful to deliberately misspell someone's name, that it reflects badly on me and on these boards.

I am humbled and abashed.

And as anyone knows who has read any of my posts, disrespectful snark is not something I ever wish to do.

(Also, I never lie.)

Not the first to become victim to Abi's whims.
Surprising what a little self-delusion will accomplish.

FloPo and Tribe laid the case for a Shirin boot out eloquently in the State of the Spoiling. I've got nothin' to add except there is no numbers loophole for Shirin this time around!

Vytas in his exit interviews noted that Shirin was gunning for he and Terry. If Shirin is too focused on getting Terry out, I think it will be easy to flip someone in the new schoolers to vote with the old schoolers. They need strength to survive, especially after two fails. My first choice for boot is Shirin.

If Varner is about to flip on the new schoolers then he'd have to go after their conductor

She should have learned her lesson from the last time talking too much.

Jeff Varner (conductor): High Ball! Full speed ahead to Ponderosa loser's lodge.

High Ball

  1. Another term for a clear signal, derived from the days of steam where a station operator would hoist a large wooden ball up a standard, signalling that the engineer was authorized to proceed
  2. A slang term used among railroad employees to convey to the crew of a train that they were clear to proceed

This week, all signs point to Shirin who is the Leader of the 'New School' Pack.

She's been coming into this too hard and fast. Recipe for disaster with this wary bunch.

I voted for her last week cuz of wishful thinking. Was thrilled this week's State of the Spoiling leaned her way. I'd like to see some of the more annoying people out early so more time can be focused on the amazing and fun to watch ones.

She's playing too hard too early. Telling Woo he will be a target? Most of this season's contestants are goats from seasons past, Woo & Shirin included, but Shirin no longer has Max to qualify as more annoying.

Shirin will hold things together despite Jeff's craziness.

This is what happens when you don't want one of your favorites to get voted out early. So sad!

LAST EDITED ON 09-30-15 AT 11:25 AM (EST)

Going with the crowd because it all makes sense and I think Varner thinks she is playing TOO hard.

LAST EDITED ON 09-30-15 AT 05:43 PM (EST)

Sheer guesses with no info behind them:

The biggest reveal not shown in the episode is that Varner specifically asked Kelley Wentworth and Peih-Gee at Tribal Council just before voting (but after the delay to set up the camera positions for voting) if the plan was unchanged, and they told him it was. Vitas had to realize at that moment he was dead, since he knew Shirin was gunning for him.

Why I find that interesting was that Varner wanted to publicly show that he was siding with Kelley and Peih-Gee, but the episode made it look as if Varner was siding with Shirin. I don't know what Varner's motives were (although I have my guess), but it seems to me that the only reason to edit that out was to make Shirin's ouster more of a surprise to viewers. One other thing I noticed was Vitas's surprise about how aggressively Shirin was playing once she hit the beach, and I think everyone, new school and old school, will be put off by that. Remember, almost all of these players know each other, but they only know Shirin from watching her on TV last season -- and her edit so far is in line with her TV persona last season. I think people will be suspicious of that, and I think Varner will be able to unite new school and old school in getting her out. I think Shirin will want to target Kelly Wigglesworth, but she won't get the chance.

My guarantee: All predictions wrong or your money back.
