Early speculation based on what we have so far:

I think that Joe is most likely to win the RC, as he's most likely to win a physical challenge that apparently will be ending in a puzzle. If he wins it, he could also win a clue to the HII. We know one will be hidden and found this episode.

In the morning of Day 21, after the RC, we see Rodney and Will sleeping in, but everyone else is up and out, most likely searching for the idol. We see Carolyn at 9:33 is out searching.

At 9:39 AM that same AM we see Tyler and Joe and it looks like Joe is proposing something to Tyler. Then at 10:10 it looks like Joe and Tyler go back and propose something to Shirin. Then they are all seen smiling at each other....

We know that Mike is out searching and Mike states, Joe is nowhere to be found down there. I'm peeking through leaves. I'm like, Survivor spy. Is he searching for Joe, who may have a clue? He's concerned about Joe finding the idol. (Or, he could be following the one that does have a clue and making sure that Joe is not nearby?)

Someone will find the idol. If they do, will they use it to make deals and sway people sitting in a swing position?

Also wanted to mention that we have 2 ladies there that have found idols without clues....

Early thoughts.

ETA: Jiffy told us that this is the best idol hide and find ever. So, we know that a new idol will be hidden and found. But, we also know that there is still an original planted HII there that has not been found, probably up in some weird shaped tree. It's possible that 2 peeps on old Nagarote get both....now that would be fun!

Interesting speculation, FP. However, I'd say that being in the opposing alliance, Mike would want to know if Joe found an idol with or without a clue.

Also, Carolyn may not have read the clue but she was clued in by the way So searched. I'd say that only Jenn found without a clue.

The longer version that I saw during the golf on Global featured more of Mike's search:
(The quotes aren't exact)

So, either Mike or Tyler finds it. It sure looks like the usual camera work accompanying Mike's search but it would mean that Tyler is talking in the abstract about those possibilities.

IF and that is a big IF, that is the person that finds the hidden idol pulling it up, then that person is wearing a bracelet! Mike is NOT wearing a bracelet. I think it is a picture of their left hand. It possibly could be the idol necklace roping, but I don't think so. I think I see that necklace roping and a dark bracelet on the left wrist...?

But, we cannot forget that there are 2 idols to be found here.

ETA: could be Tyler....he's got a black bracelet on his left hand....Carolyn has white beads on her left, and Joe has a yellow band on his left wrist....

Way back on 01-22-15, 08:02 PM (EST) tribephyl posted a photo of all 3 Hidden Immunity Idols

Carolyn is still holding the Yellow one.

The Blue one was never found.

Jenn played the Red idol but now that the tribes are merged would they re-hide Jenn's Red idol or hide a new Purple one?

To me the idol in the intro credits

and the idol in the promo video

Look like the same scene just the other side of the idol

Or did the editors change the color of the idol the Promo so as not to reveal that someone found the Blue idol?

It's a scorpion on the Nagarote Idol. The Blue Idol has a Vulture.

DUH! Thanks! So if that's actually someone holding the idol they found in this episode it has to be Jenn's idol re-hidden. I think that's the same idol from the intro credits and not the one (or two) found this episode.

This challenge would be a breeze! First of all, for the first 3 puzzles, they don't have to solve the puzzles they just have to get their one puzzle piece through the maze of puzzle pieces....

Then, after the first 3 maze puzzles, they do finally have to solve one, it's not numbered but it would be easy because the outer edges are white...

There is a formula for solving slider puzzles, and if any of them know it, this challenge would be a cake walk! PS. The formula is EASY!

Sure looks like Joe is leading the pack, but does he know the formula?

I love doing the classic "15 slider puzzle". Flowerpower posted one of the best way to solve it below but there are several methods. In this case the solution of course spells out:
OUTWIT  (Yellow)
OUTPLAY (Blue)
OUTLAST (Red)
Convert the word tiles to 15 numbered tiles

and I believe the starting position is:

{ 5} { 1} { 8} { 3}
{14} { 2} { 6} { 4}
{ 9} {13} { 7} {10}
{11} {15} {12}

Pretty easy to solve from that starting configuration!!

Looks like it comes down to Joe, Tyler, Shirin, Carolyn, Sierra, and Mike with Jenn, Dan, Will, Hali, and Rodney far behind.

Everyone walks the beam trying to balance themselves, retrieve a bag and make it to the mat, only to repeat the process 2 more times.
The three tables seen are for the first 3 castaways with their three bags. It is an "anchor" puzzle. (Probably signifying a boat reward. Winner chooses two or three to take along?)

From these shots, and with this confessional "Mike <camera confessional>: 'I've gotta find it. I have to find it.' (This is just the type of language that precedes the HI being found) , it appears to me that Mike finds it. And I think he finds it under that log, a primo type of hiding place for the HI.

Whoever is up in that tree is just being silly. Is that Rod?

Agreed, King! Those are just the words that usually proceed finding the HII. If he does find it under that log, that could be the new idol that has been re-hidden. Natalie found one buried under the log at camp, last season.

I would think that the original idol located at Escameca would be in a tree, just as they were at the other two beaches...

That lone shot of Joe in the promos is ominous for him, I think. We'll see!

Slider puzzle key:

1. solve all the rows starting from the top downward, left to right, horizontally first.
2. All but the last 2 bottom rows.
3. Then, once you get to the 2 bottom rows, solve left to right, going vertically 2 at a time, solving the bottom right hand side of the puzzle last. Done.

Some things never get old.

In 30 seasons of Survivor, producers frequently bring out a similar challenge: each contestant must walk along a balance beam to untie bags of puzzle pieces.

The challenge usually favors the petite girls. Men have historically had trouble with the balancing challenges.

Walking along a 2x4 can be difficult in the best of circumstances. It's even harder when contestants are starving and exhausted. The result? Several awkward, hard falls.

It's never not entertaining.

On Wednesday's Survivor: Worlds Apart, the remaining 11 contestants must compete in this very challenge.
