Who is Joe with though? If Joe is with Tyler, then he, Tyler, Joaquin, and Rodney control the numbers. If they lose I think it's Dan that goes.

If either Carolyn or Dan go this week, then we lose our first big character of the season.

According to the labels, the RC is the physical one. The IC, the memory challenge.
In fact you can see the II in Joaquin's hand when they arrive at the "beach" for the memory IC.

You guys have the memory challenge as labeled the Reward Challenge. I beg to differ. In none of the challenge pics can you see the II. But, we have these shots....

First arriving at the big physical challenge with the big structures....

Now here are what looks like reactions to when Jiffy might say, "Want to know what you are playing for?" As in what their reward will be.....



I think the big physical challenge may be for Reward, while the memory challenge may be the IC this time around...

That whole thing makes me cringe. If thats the endgame the end of this season will be a massive disappointment.


CBS put a lot of attention on that for a reason. Thats a long term arc.

It seems to me that the previews are making too huge a deal of the bromance for it to have any legs. We already know that it will be observed, and not happily, by tribemates. If it were previewed more briefly, minus the negative tribal reaction, I'd give it more of a shot to succeed.

I think with this degree of focus it's not going to be introduced and quashed in the space of one episode. My sense is that it's misdirection for this week. Their tribemates will discuss breaking them up but they won't get the chance. The following week, however, could be the end of it.

Yes, agree with Brownroach. It seems that a lot of the boots have a story told in the episode prior to their boots. I think if Joaquin and Rodney have a bromance, it has to be more of a one episode threat...

But, I am extremely dubious that the bros make it far together!

Now, we have pairings. These pairings are very important, and will dictate who wins the challenge. First we have Rodney vs. Carolyn:

Historically the women have done well in this challenge....One World, the girls swept it. But, this shot spells out a lot, imo:

Has anyone seen any of the 5-10 sec promos that they usually run during Sunday sports? I can't find any evidence on Sucks or Survivor Fever that there were any. The web promo came out on Friday and it usually is released on Monday. The lack of extra promos makes me wonder if its an obvious person going home this week, i.e. Shirin. Either that or Survivor is really cutting back on the $$!

In Previous Episodes some of the Press Images had EXIF Data with information like:

Date Taken:(Actual Date photo was taken)]
Authors: Monty Brinton
Camera Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark III or Canon EOS 5D Mark IV

In Episode 6 the Press Images have EXIF Data with:

Date Taken: 3/18/2015 between 3:20 PM and 4:28 PM
Authors: Screen Grab
Camera Model:(no info)

The problem with the Date Taken field is that the photos are taken by multiple cameras but the Date/Time on those cameras is NOT synchronized (sometime even the Day is wrong!) so that makes the time stamps inaccurate for determining the actual sequence.

However, if we assume someone at CBS watched the video of the Full Episode this past Wed 3/18/2015 between 3:20-4:28 PM and grabbed screen captures, then the time stamps might even be more accurate to use.

Excellent job, Sheldor! I sure do hope you've figured out the ScreenGrab timing and it's ability to help decipher (apart from the actual camera timing) the goings on during the episode.



I've been thinking it's Escameca to TC anyways, this certainly helps.

If thats the case I think Dan might be gone. Or believe it or not, Tyler. I didn't want to think that before but now I think Joaquin may decide to move on without him for his new bromance. Or, because of the possibility of idol and no chance to split, the other four may decide to vote out Tyler. However, I have been riding Dan's boot this ep since e2. I could see it.

Yes, I did because I don't think Dan has a realistic chance at going. And I don't usually get the boots right unless they are flat out obvious(Nina) so I said Rodney in case I was wrong.

But, CTGirl and I nailed the logic, I think.

We could not anticipate them "throwing" the challenge. If both tribes had been in it to win it, Nagarote would have lost. And then, I think, Kelly would have been toast.

But, the time stamps have really never failed, have they?

I think that your 'assumption' was absolutely brilliant.

And now I wonder ...

Do you know how far in advance of their airing the Survivor promotional videos are created? Because it will be interesting to see - following your spoiling - if subsequent blurbs maintain a sequential pattern of screen captures or if in the darker dungeons of CBS, editors will actually take note - and/or care - and begin to review the same footage multiple times to produce screen captures with non-sequential timestamps.
