@Camp

Also of note...
These 2 have timestamps indicating photographers went to Nagarote after the IC.

Thanks for posting the Press images, Tribe. You noted that there are some press images at Nagarote post IC. Since we cannot see the time stamps, are there any other times stamps putting the shots post IC at any other camp?

If not, it appears that Nagarote is going to TC again?

As far as I've gleaned, the only post-IC shots are the two of Hali and Nina.
Surprising to me as I really feel that Escameca is nearing (or at) breaking-point with tribal dynamics, but if not this episode then certainly the next.
Until then, I continue to scour and search the interwebs for anything suggesting a result otherwise a fairly boring Nagarote TC.

Unless Nina finds the idol! Nothing in the hype suggests it though. The weekend promo was about Rodney's fight with Mike.

In one of Vince's interview he says Nina did find the idol on day 4 and showed it to him on day 5. It could just be a stick or another one of Vince's breaks with reality.

I should be watched....closely.

I was wondering what Mike had written on his back. I feared it was publicity of some kind like some boxers but it is to show his faith instead. I wonder if religion will come into play somehow.

Thanks Tribephyl! That's a LOT of Press Images!

Also, quite a few photos of the Immunity/Reward Challenge.

This week's Press Release said:

"Also, one castaway’s strategy during the immunity challenge completely backfires,"

If we assume the Red Tribe loses, anyone have an idea of the strategy they use that completely backfires?

Red Tribe is competing with one less Man than the other 2 Tribes which in this challenge is probably enough to cost the win.

The operative wording being one castaway's strategy vs. the tribe's strategy.
Whatever the "strategy" was, it was singular and probably NOT shared with the rest of the tribe.

Not that it's going to be repeated, but it reminds me of when Drew decided he wanted to lose the challenge. He didn't tell anyone but he certainly did his best to get his tribe way behind.
So while he ended up getting what he wanted, to go to TC, the irony was that Drew got booted that episode.

So in this case it could be someone stating they want to throw the challenge, does their best to slow the tribe down but it ultimately doesn't work.

IOW, I don't know if we can automatically assume it's a no-collar strategy that fails just because we know Nagarote goes to TC.
It could be Mike simply stating that he isn't gonna help out at the challenge because he wants to go to TC...but Escameca end up winning despite his lack of help.
The strategy backfires, but the challenge doesn't have to be lost because of it.
Of course, it could be Nina stating that she wants to be extra helpful and fails miserably.

The only hint I can see in the press images to answer that riddle is here:

Nina isn't in the picture. Did she come up with an idea that involves moving ahead, leaving the other four to handle the barrel? Since they lose, they could very well blame her for not plugging the holes with her hands.

Possibly. I tend to think the person with the backfiring strategy believes the strategy will help their tribe win, rather than that the person is deliberately working against the tribe.

That's what I was trying to say but I guess I didn't express it properly. Nina might think she could be more useful by moving ahead, maybe clearing the way for the others. The idea will backfire and the tribe will say: "Nina, you should have stayed with us and plugged the holes instead of trying that."

The Promo guys are doing everything they can to make us forget that Nina is likely going home!! Presenting first Mike and now Shirin as boot options will all be wasted when the No Collars lose the IC.

"Web Promo"

The web promo is a longer version that includes both of the weekend promos but starts out with the No collar tribe. Joe catches a lizard and they cook it but Nina won't try it. That's not much of a boot story!

Transcript:

Announcer: On Survivor, White Collar, Blue Collar, No Collar, making it in the wild can be hard.

<Joe kills a lizard>

Hali: Oh no not a lizard!

Joe: Come on, Nina.

Hali (?): One little taste.

Nina: No.

Announcer: And Wednesday, some people will do anything to fit in.

<Shirin watches monkeys in the trees and verbally makes monkey sounds>

Carolyn <camera confessional>: I don't even know where to go with that.

Announcer: Others just can't seem to get along.

Lindsey: Oh, we don't tend to the fire. How do you think that got there?

Mike: Everybody's gotta pitch in.

Rodney: You just need to relax. I will get firewood whenever I want to get firewood.

Mike: If me saying something means I'm the first to go, send me home.

Lindsey <camera confessional>: Wish come true!

Thanks for posting the screen caps Sheldor!

Lindsey sure is toast the first time she goes to Tribal Council. First saying Dan was going home and now saying Mike is. She's way too over confident!

A division of labor causes cracks in the hard-working Blue Collar tribe. Also, one castaway's strategy during the immunity challenge completely backfires on Survivor, Wednesday at 8/7c. Only CBS

No Collar - Day 7

Hali: It looks gorgeous out

Jenn: Right?!

Hali: Yeah!

Jenn: You want to go surf today?

Hali: Yes, I do.

Jenn: I think that would be nice.

Jenn(confessional): Hali and I have been looking at these waves since we've got here. They're perfect little barrels and it's been kind of killing us not being able to surf. So, why not have some fun with it.

Jenn: Were using drift wood for our said surfboards but they'll make do. They're rounded on the bottom and flat on top...

Hali: That's perfect!

Hali(confessional): Body surfing was such a good idea. Like surfing is like my #3 passion in life. So when she pulled that out I was like "Yeah girl I'm right with you!"

Jenn: This is exactly what No Collars do. I guarantee you the other tribes don't even think about doing stuff like this but NO Collars lives are kind of about having fun, nothing is too serious out here. I don't know why everyone takes this game so seriously.

Challenge Producer John Kirhoffer takes us behind-the-scenes for a first look at this week’s challenge, Dear Liza, featured on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, March 11 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network

John Kirhoffer:

Welcome Behind The Scenes of Challenges - "Survivor Worlds Apart".

Today... "Dear Liza" Last time you saw it. "Survivor One World."

What we've changed about it, we made it a lot longer, a lot bigger.

"Survivors Ready? Go!"

The course is twice as long as it was last time.

...and the buckets, just a little smaller.

This will require that our players run twice as much as they had to do that time.

I can't wait to see how our actual contestants play it.
