I missed the first 15 minutes of the show tonight, didn't Jim Norton make it to the final 20? Why wasn't he there? I assume thats why the older hippy guy got back in as a "wild card". Anyone know what happened? Thanks

They told him before the show started that he couldn't go on because of his other contractual obligations with other networks. They would conflict with the obligations he would have been required to fulfill if he were chosen to go on in the competition.

Yeah, I liked him too, but unfortunately being the funniest one there apparently isn't what matters. Proven, of course, by the final cuts made.
