"Lisa, The Reality Show Circuit & Other Observations"

Posted by editx on 09-27-01 at 01:30 PM
Am I the only person on this messageboard that realizes that Love Cruise is not the first "reality show" that Lisa has disgraced with her presence? If you are one of the half dozen people that tuned into Chains of Love...you'll remember her blubbering at the drop of a dime on that show as well.

What is this? Do they go to the same "talent" agencies to round up these no personality having, body shaving, back stabbing twits? It is quite obvious to me that none of these people have been able to make it in mainstream entertainment, so they resort to desperate measures to feed their wounded egos. i.e., our resident wolf in sheeps clothing...Lisa. This gal would have you to believe that she is sugar sweet when she is really a ##### that hates everyone because she was the "ugly ducking" growing up.

Newsflash...SHE'S STILL UGLY!

Michael is a saint to not make her first 48 hours pure hell. Dissing him like that and then playing like she's his buddy. What a J.A.P. For those of you who think I am getting my slurs mixed up...a J.A.P. is a Jewish American Princess. Which means that even though she was so ugly as a child that they hadda tie a t-bone to her leg to get the dog to play with her, her father still spoiled her and probably lied to her daily about how pretty she was. Rendering her, a lip waxing tyrant that crys when she doesn't get the "pretty guy".

Anywho...if any of you recognize another of our moderately attractive contestants on Love Cruise as a pathetic loser that has competed on another show please drop that info here.

"Limitations?"

kidhell, if you're out there, a question:

Is there any limitation in casting these shows that prohibits (or is supposed to prohibit) someone from being on more than one of them? Of course, "Chains of Love" was pathetic; I guess editx was one of the six viewers (I was not), and maybe it shouldn't count even if there is some such limitation!

It was news to me. My guess would be Chains of Love was filmed AFTER LC.

One of the Cannonball Run 2001 girls was also from Chains Of Love... I'll go dig up the post, I think I had a link in it to images from all the Chains' episodes

Hey Webby,
Funny thing, I only watched one episode of Chains, but now that this guy mentions it, I realize it is the same episode. The Cannonball Run girl and Lisa were on the same one. The Cannonball Girl won, but dumped the guy, I think Lisa was the first rejected.

I believe Chains was 6 episodes long. The below link shows headshots and names for everyone on the first five eps -- no Lisa is listed.

The cast for the 6th (last?) show is on the below. Again, no Lisa...

See, that's what I get for forgetting that there will be trolls in the Love Cruise world too. How sad. Thanks, shakes and Webby.

In the YEAR since we filmed season 1 of Love Cruise... Lisa went ahead and did Chains of Love. Since we were delayed for so long, the episode of Chains appeared before the premiere of LC. As far as I know, per her contract with LC, she's wasn't supposed to do another reality series for a year but she did anyway. The point is... when we cast her for the show, she had not yet done another TV show and if she had I don't think she would have been eligible. We had to even take someone out of consideration for season 1 who had been on the awful Fox show "Who Want's To Marry A Millioaire?"

Oops... my bad. I should have read Shakes reply which is what I remember - that Laura was the one, not Lisa, who did another "game show" and wasn't supposed to. I guess Lisa's appearance of Chains was a dream someone must have had.
By the way... not cool EditX. Your, "SHE'S STILL UGLY" comment is innane and reeks of insecurity. You must be some really looker yourself. I know Lisa personally and way before this show was on TV, she has not had any problems dating.

....either get your facts straight or save the blatant lying for another website. Lisa was NEVER on Chains of Love, nor has she ever been on a television show besides Love Cruise. Nice try idiot.

No one from LC has been on any other reality shows, nor have they been on any other TV shows with ONE exception...since the show filmed, Laura was a contestant on The Price Is Right, where she won about $5000.

...its obvious from your comments that you have something personally against Lisa...what happened, did you ask her out once and she dissed you cause you are obviously a jealous a$$hole, not a really good trait to bring into a relationship.

Shakes,

I responded to your summary of episode 1 of LC (favorably) and encouraged you to "keep the hammer down". Apparently those rage reduction therapy sessions are really working, LOL. I also wanted to mention that Dalton, your distaff doppleganger, e-mailed me after my original postings. It appears that you both have had your sarcasm honed on the whetstone of wit. Carve away. Shalom.

No, he was right, Lisa is a grade-A LOSER and a #####.

And what is it with the Jewish community. It seems that when you have a problem with ONE of them, suddenly you are an anti-Semitic racist. Give us all a break. We can dislike one of you without being racist.

Same goes for the Palestinians. Someone points out that maybe they don't deserve to be shot in the head for protesting and wanting to have their own homeland, and suddenly the Jewish League is crying: "Hitler's among us again. Oh the horror". Pllleeeasse! Give us a break.

Can't anyone disagree with you people without being slandered as racist?

My apologies to the rest of the users for potentially turning this into a political discussion.

Getting back to Lisa...I'm sure I've seen her on TV before, but I just can't place the face (or should I say the nose)...oops, I'm being racist again against the BIG NOSE race of people -- damn! I'll have to go to sensitivity training to make sure I have "correct" thinking.

Whatever!

You tell her Brooke. Nottie is really asking for trouble getting our Brooke all riled up.

I thought something was wrong when I saw how hard this fool was ripping on Lisa. I think she's quite attractive. Not a bombshell by any means, but she has a pleasant face, nice smile, and pretty hair. I'm sure she does fine with the men. She sure seemed to liven up when Tony was kissing her.

Also, it sure looked like Greg was flirting with her when they were in the water and I thought it was making her uncomfortable. I don't think Greg was innocent of flirting behind Toni's back at all.

Hey there Michael; nice come back to "editx" there! Interesting to hear "editx" had got her assertions so far out of whack!

Keep in mind that Shakes' reply to you wasn't an example of a personal attack. I think it takes more than one post to a message board to develop a personality, but you came close.

Hmm...."editx" would appear to have an almost personal distaste of those that enter into these reality shows. Another poster here has it tight. So what if someone has been in another one before? And as for "disgracing" it, that can't be appropriate. (Judging by my impression of her in Love Cruise.) Most of the contestants in Love Cruise used one tactic or another to try and win a game. While those tactics may not be 'pleasant' to some, it's to be expected in a game. "Manipulation" and "deceit" - while running the risk of hurting people's feelings - is something which participants would need to be aware of when they enter into such a show. Use of such tactics doesn't mean someone is going to (or is likely to) "disgrace" a show.
