So, I think we actually are eliminating someone this week, now that the election is over nothing but a drone attack should disrupt the schedules of reality TV for awhile.

Trios return. under the weight of a double elimination.

What the heck was that guy running out and then running away while we don't have anything else real happening.

Assuming we ever return from commercials.

All the stars on the stage. That was the most amazing open, when the space shuttle landed...Oh Tom.

Each couple has picked a third for their dances. Pay tribute to the veterans as well.

Derek dances this week. Viennese Waltz, all about the angels that looked after the soldiers in combat situations.

In the Arms of the Angel.

The fog is back.

Len. Sometimes a whisper is louder than a shout. Liked a little bit more in hold, but poignant.

Bruno. That was heavenly perfection. Emotive, shapes and figures. Fantastic.

Carrie Ann. Started as powerful ball of energy. In depth performer chills from everybody.

Members of Armed Forces in the audience.

10 - 9.5 - 10 - 29.5/30

Dancing the Tango.

Comes in on a whachamacalit zip line?

I Need A Hero.

"RE: Apolo and Karina"

Hmmm, I looked down for a second & missed the entrance, dammit! I didn't think they'd have another dance till after the break.
Anyway, maybe it's just me, but I didn't think that was Apolo's best performance. Seemed like he wasn't finishing moves & was kind of "stompy". I hope the judges liked it better, because I don't want him going home!

"RE: Apolo and Karina"

These dances are really short.

Bruno. Go for it. A daredevil of a tango. Guns are fully loaded. Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible. Fantastic.

Carrie Ann. Amazing, lines were ridiculous everyone wants to be Karina.

Len. You are my hero. I'm being finicky, full on attack.

Scores after the break.

10 - 9.5 - 10 - 29.5/30

Carrie Ann. Musical interpretation, suits you, one of your best. Like to see more difficulty in your next number.

Len. Hallelujah, your best dance.

Bruno. Stylish, nice, well danced, well done.

Scores after the break. Max is grooming Tom.

Loved Kirstie's costume! (And Maks' too!) That was a really nice routine; great emotion & grace!

Single best costuming choice for Kirsty in the history of the show. That was lovely and tasteful. My little girl noticed and said she loved it.

The dance was also one of Kirsty's best.

She's obviously doomed.

"RE: Kirsty and Max"
Posted by Round Robin on 11-13-12 at 03:25 PM
Oh, she's doomed all right. With a double elim tonight she'd have to get a hell of a lot of votes to overcome a 2% disadvantage in judges' points, and her fan base probably hasn't gotten any bigger. If the double elim this week doesn't get her, next week's double elim probably will.

Or I'll Be, or Fan of your life, or some such rot.

Len. The flow of it. it was a bit sharp on occasions.

Carrie Ann goes on and on

Tom. Let Len dig in deeper.

Len. A bit sharp, I have my standards

She has none.

Bruno. Wonderful drive, never lost the beat. Giving all of her soul.

Carrie Ann. Commitment to the movement. Pushing yourself to the edge. Growing every week I didn't think it was er-er-er-er it was Wahhhhhhhh

Scores after the break.

Didn't see ANY emotion from her at all in that dance. It was just okay for me. She looked miserable!

"RE: Kelly and Val"
Posted by JessicaRN on 11-13-12 at 01:04 AM
I agree about Kelly's odd affect. Throughout this whole season, she has seemed cold and any emotions just seemed forced to me. She doesn't seem like a nice person. I'd be really surprised if her "relationship" with puppy dog Val continues once she is done dancing.

"Giles and Peta"

Bruno. Quickstep, took off like ans SAT. That variation in the middle, so many steps, top gun.

Carrie Ann. A few little slips in his feet. I was looking at the details, soooo close.

Len, this was thunder and lightening. That was a quick step.

Scores after the break.

OMG - the band!! Or should I say the "band"! That was the worst version of that song EVER!!

That said, I did not care for that routine at all. Of course, the judges love it. One of us is blind! If Len gives that a 10 over Shawn I'm gonna be PO'd!

"RE: Giles and Peta"
Posted by Snidget on 11-12-12 at 09:45 PM
They were doing pretty well, so I figured that when the music crashed and burned it was going to be like missing the deck of the air craft carrier.

Carrie Ann. Smooth and effective, you slipped a little bit. Makes Len start mumbling. Want to see your push yourself. Want to see more impact.

Len. This man puts the oo in smooth. Liked a little more fluidity, but I liked it.

Bruno. Smart, classic, there was a slight stumble, overall very nice.

Scores after the break.

9 - 9.5 - 9.5 - 28/30

"RE: Emmitt and Cheryl"

He sure is in good shape. I think he is a lot thinner and fit than the last time.

I'm not sure his personality will be able to carry him to the end.

"RE: Emmitt and Cheryl"

What personality? I have to force myself to watch him every week. He just cannot hold my attention. Tonight, I though KIRSTY was better than Emmitt.

Len smiling. It was a quick step. It was quick, lots of steps. That was the bees knees.

Bruno. Won't you join the Navy. Ann Miller/Gene Kelly. Fantastic.

Carrie Ann. You are on fire. Awesome job.

Really? I didn't think it was that amaxing!!!!11!

Would have liked a bit more samba in it.

Len Chewing his pencil. In the audience would be cheering along. The problem was very self indulgent. Very little samba content. Don't blame me if you go home tomorrow.

Bruno. Very naughty you three. I have jungle fever. As art it was fantastic. Intoxicating animal quality. I have to admit it wasn't really a samba. Lot of things I like.

Carrie Ann. I disagree. Sometimes you have to take a risk. What they did of Samba was executed to perfection.

Carrie and Len standing up arguing at each other. Now Bruno standing.

Tom thinks we will have interesting scores after the break.

Breaking news interruption, may not get the scores.

Missing 2 year old boy found, was in another home in the area. Took several hours to find him. So if you get the scores and I don't post 'em.

Total of 93.5, the crowd is reacting.

Tom. Len you were booed by people trained in combat.

ETA: Wiki says total was 26.0 so wonder what Len did to them.

ETAA: MJsbigblog reports Carrie Ann 10, Len 7, Bruno 9 26

Carrie Ann. Saw a problem in the kicks and flicks, you guys work great together.

Len. Sharp, tight and together.

Apolo & Sasha both seemed a bit restricted in their arm movements, to me. So... the judges will probably give it 10's, LOL! Which would be okay, because I don't want him leaving this week.

Oh yikes. The judges will probably give that 10's. Me no likey.

Carrie Ann. Good choice in men. Love the theme, costumes, but it was sloppy. Weren't wearing shoes.

Len. No incidences. Had aggression, just lacked a bit of finesse.

Bruno. Like watching the Valley of the Dolls. Surreal interpretation. As a Paso, could have been more refined.

Scores after the Break.

And going after Len, too.

Len. Liked the end. F factor. Fun, fast, flamoyant.

Bruno. What a swinger. When leading with the two boys behind so well.

Carrie Ann. Hard to go back and forth. Transitions good. Could have pointed toe a little bit more.

Oooh, Kelly - one of my pet peeves! When someone's asked you a question, you don't start the answer with "I mean". You have to SAY something first before saying "I mean" to explain what you just said. GRRRRR!!

Bruno. Menage a Tois comes natural to you. Your intent to take care of the ladies you lost timing a couple of times.

Carrie Ann. I agree, musicality, but you took control over the dance floor.

Len. I can only judge it how I see it. Didn't see, you exposed yourself and you were doing it. So easy to camouflage and you were full on right there.

Scores after the break.

9.5 - 10 - 9.5 - 29/30

It was amazing how much Chelsie and Peta looked alike from a distance.

These really seem to show off all the problems each star has.

Carrie. Spicy Jalapeno, when you are wiggling your hips and youc an handle your women.

Len. Great rhythm and musicality, knock out.

Bruno. Smooth and natural.

Up for scores right away.

Carrie Ann. Love seeing you so in control. You owned that Passo.

"RE: Melissa and Tony and Henry"

The music butchery this week was some of the worst in 15 seasons of DWTS. People have b!tched about this band and these singers for years, and this week they were flat out awful. Especially the singers, jeez, those people can't carry a tune with an earth mover. If I were Harold Wheeler I'd get some new singers, because these amateurs butcher more songs than they sing well. They're ruining his band's reputation.
