Malcolm *sigh* Freburg interviews Rocker.

Rocker comes off very well, level headed and smart. Of course he does have the advantage of a retrospective commentary. He says Josh was by far the most strategic. He was most aligned with Josh, then with Dale.

Says that he wanted to get to exile island on that day no matter what. He said he wanted to go after Val spoke of all the idols there. So, it was his plan to volunteer regardless. If he had won the duel with Julie, he would have volunteered to go himself...? He said that Alec and Wes had a thing with Baylor, she flirted with them and they liked it....talked about their common ages being a thing...

He said the sticks challenge was brutal. He said that Drew - Football quarterback at Georgia, Jon -Football player at Michigan State, and Jeremy - Division 1 track star, completely outshined them. He said he was simply up against too many D1 athletes, there was no way they could have won that challenge.

Regarding the injuries from the sticks challenge: Blood running down Jacklyn's legs, and then a 3 inch thorn wedged completely in Dale's knee. ***Both candidates for a medivac, imo. Especially Dale with the thorn in his joint!

He said he told Dale that he would tell the girls to vote for Dale and he was square with it...

Why did the guys always target Baylor and not Jacklyn? He said that's a good question, came down to challenges, Jacklyn was better....

*Rocker said he knew it was him at TC when he saw the first vote for him...
*He said production took his idol...they said after the finale they would give it back...
*With you being gone will it help Julie? Definitely....He thinks Julie will have a target on her back for a while but hopefully with me gone, it will be alright.
*Will Julie now play aggressively since you are gone....he thinks she will...
*He thought he would be okay not to play the idol because they were so bad in challenges, and he thought if they got rid of anyone he thought it would be to get rid of the weakest, Dale. He thought logically they would vote out the weakest.
*His goal was to make it to the merge...
*Who is the best player remaining on your tribe out there? Josh, is a student of the game and has best chance to manipulate people on both tribes...
*Who from the other tribe is doing well in challenges that you see...that you see doing well that we may not see on TV....Jeremy, Kelly was not too bad in challenges, Reed is nimble, everyone over there could move pretty well
*What was the toughest part of the survival part of it, he lost 19 pounds. You see medical everyday...he says you struggle with your brain...hungry as hell all day long...200 calories a day....he was stupid hungry out there with no idea when his next meal is coming, all he wanted to do was lay down and sleep, but had to go to do confessionals, challenges, etc.
*What would you change about the way you played? He wasn't as knowledgable about the game, perhaps go in with more education and strategy. Didn't want to be the a$$hole, wanted to be nice and work hard, be good in challenges, maybe not share the idol with Josh...Early social game is solo important

Thank you for this FP. CBS puts geographical restrictions on their videos so I can't watch in up here. If you have time for some of the future ones, it would be appreciated.

I heard him on RHAP and, except for the vocabulary, he does come off OK. He still claims out-of-context for SI and, maybe like Rob said, Rocker saw it as jokes but the words in that interview are horrific in any context. Let's just say that, in Survivor, he came off as a hotheat and not a smart player but there have been much worse, outlaw Ben for one.

One thing that was discussed during the RHAP podcast that I didn't see here was that no one liked Dale, that he was perceived as a know-it-all.

I would be happy to listen and transcribe them....I found the interview quite insightful...He did mention that he is good friends with Jeremy and Val and Nadiya and Natalie outside the game...He said Nadiya and Natalie talk like "dudes"....wonder if they are close because he hung out with them (Nadiya and Val) while the game played out?

I've listened to several podcasts with Rocker (RHAP, Dalton Ross and Survivor Fans) and he most definitely became friends with Nadiya and Val because of Ponderosa. In fact he went on and on about how he was such good friends with Jeremy that Dalton had to remind him that he only knew Nadiya and Val because of Loser Lodge. Rocker kind of self corrected and said that he did not meet Natalie until after. He never actually said that about Jeremy. He also said he knew Drew.

So, we know that he knew Val and Nadiya from Loser Lodge. He ONLY admits to meeting Natalie AFTER. He NEVER says that about Jeremy, but he DOES say that he knew Drew.

So....this implies that he knew Val, Nadiya, Drew, and Jeremy from Loser Lodge, but he admits that he didn't know Natalie until after.

Interesting. Doesn't really help us for this boot then...as either Drew or Jeremy could be toast, and perhaps the one that gets past this episode is not long for the game either?

Well, considering that IF Drew were booted in Ep4, it would mean that Jeremy kept his numbers. And getting rid of Jeremy past that point would be even more difficult. Making it virtually impossible to get rid of him before Ponderosa.

So it makes sense that Jeremy goes first and then Drew follows. Drew's only number is Jon.

Which begs the question: Who is in charge of the asylum? It would have to be either Missy or Keith. I'm not sure I buy it.

Tribe, remember that we are making a supposition that there will be a tribe swap next ep, with Keith seen in Coyopa....So, Jeremy may not have his numbers...

Malcolm interviewed Drew and they seemed to get along well. Drew recognized that he was delusional and it was so tough. He really thought he was the most equipped to win and the biggest leader and most dominant player there. He said he would have run the challenges in the end...Malcolm teased him how he came across as so lazy. He defended himself by saying they chose to show a lot of him sleeping but he single-handedly built the shelter and that he did so much more.
*He lost 23 pounds in 11 days, he was allergic to crab and everyone else ate that, he could not.
*He was great at spear fishing and so desperately wanted the fishing equipment
*He said Reed created SOOOO much drama. Reed came up to him in the first hour of the show and told him the girls were out to get him. He said that Reed definitely pitted he and Kelly against each other from the go.
*He said that Reed caused so much drama in the early weeks that if they had lost a challenge, he's sure Reed would have been gone.
*He said that Jeremy, Jon and he had discussed throwing the challenge before they even went to the reward challenge and they were down with it. (Implying they were together)
*He confirmed to Jeremy only afterwards that he had indeed thrown it.
*He knew that if Jon and Jacklyn competed he would go to EI with her. He was down with Jon/him/Jacklyn/Alec making it to the merge and trying to play with the couples to take out the singles.
*He searched and searched with Jon to find the idol
*He never saw Julie as threatening. He thought that she would never make it to the end and that she would be a likely quitter. He said she cried all the time and complained about food rations.
*He said that he didn't think Keith was smart enough to make a move or pull off a lie as he did.
*He knew that he was one of the targets, knew it would be either him or Jon.
*If he had to play the game again he would be a lot more chill. He would let everyone else fight it out and he would try to line up with the biggest player out there, Kelly. He wouldn't throw a challenge.
*He learned that he is a step up guy and a leader and now that he's played the game he feels more alive...he used to just go through life going through the motions. He's learned never to take anything for granted and that he can rely on himself. He's proud of his younger brother as well.

He thought that Julie would never make it to the end and that she would be a likely quitter.

My thoughts as well. Dale has never seemed the quitting type to me. But I noticed that even with John gone, Julie can't quite seem to find the enjoyment in the experience. She also has nothing to prove by being there.
But since we know the "you're down a member" speech from JP happens at Coyopa beach. I don't think she quits until after the merge. Merge camp will be Coyopa beach.
I also think that even though he says "you're down a member" (which some have said means that it's still tribal stage) the rest of the tribe will participate in the IC.
As in,"I know you're down a member but the game goes on. See you at challenge beach!"

Its really hard to figure out who the quitter is. No one is getting the quit edit. I do think if Julie is the quitter, we would see her crying and complaining more. She's not being ignored either; we've heard from her. FWIW, Jaclyn and Reed only have 2 confessionals each for the season. Reed has been ignored the most and yet I don't think he is the quitter. Time will tell.

I listened to the RHAP interview today. Drew is smarter than he came off on Survivor. I think they had to edit him as a dumb guy because he got voted out so early.

Quitters either get purpled or they are too story-worthy to be ignored. NaOnka was a major drama queen, Purple Kelly was a meh.

Outside of now gone Big Bad John we don't have any true drama queens this season. Gosh, this would be so much easier if we had an Abi-Maria off-the-wall mover'n'shaker.

But I am really blanking on Naonka/Abimaria vibes, I think our quitter is getting purpled.

If Drew is being honest then Reed is certainly not edited the way the others see him.

"Survivor Live, ep 5, Kelly"
Posted by Flowerpower1 on 10-28-14 at 07:41 PM
Jeff Shroeder (sp?) was back on the job with Kelly...

*She was curious as to why J/J voted her out because Baylor was a flipper.
*She got on the show by applying with her dad to get on Amazing Race, they saw her and asked if she would do this season of Survivor. YES, she's a super fan and her dad is too.
*Her strategy going in: she wanted a strong alliance with 1 or 2 people, and that is what she did. Tribe swap really foiled her plan.
*She said that she and Drew were just too different people, she was from a rural, hard working family, and he was a lazy, mamma's boy. They didn't get off on the right foot, he was intimidated by a strong female, he had alliances with other people.
*Kelly thought she and her alliance-mates were in a great spot, they were going to get him out anyway, or Jon, before he threw the challenge.
*They all knew Drew threw the challenge, Jeremy told them
*She thinks, while Drew denies it, it was a real blindside for him
*She and Reed were super fans and they both knew the swap was coming
*She was happy to be with her dad but very disappointed with the tribes...namely her alliance mates were on the other tribe.
*She was NOT really aligned with Jon or Missy. She had been trying to get Jon booted out first, and Jon knew it!
*She was bummed they changed camps, freezing without blankets
*She, Jeremy, and Reed told them they were eating wayyyy to much...they had extra rice at the bottom of the pot that people couldn't eat because they were too full! But, she didn't want to be the mean one that b!tched about the rice.
*Then Missy at Coyopa was making the rice, just like she did at Hun, she was the rice maker.
*She expected to lose because the other tribe had so many guys who were stronger and more athletic.
*She did wonder if someone on her tribe threw the challenge. Digging in the sand was exhausting
*She did think it would be her or her dad that got booted, but Dale was optimistic, thought he had convinced them to vote out Baylor, the flipper.
*They didn't know the other tribe was bartering with Jeff again. Her guess is that Jeff will just take the comfort items but she doesn't know.
*Viewers didn’t see that Jon and Missy were really really close, so she really needed to make a case against Baylor. Missy made a case against her, looking for the idol...she wasn’t
*She did lobby to get out Keith, but she thought that Missy knew that Keith had an idol
*Jon was adamant about getting out the singles
*No one knows this: at hun, she was gunning for Jon to go because she knew that J/J together would be super strong...come the merge, so she wanted Jon before Drew. So she told people she wanted Jon out and when Missy found out, she went to Jon and told him....when she was on Coy Missy would come to her and ask her, are you still trying to get Jon out? She was trying to catch me so she could tattle again and make them firm up with her and Baylor....she refused to say it, she told her she wanted Keith out....
*Missy would not get him(Jon) out, he called her mama, their relationship was strange...somehow, somewhere they bonded. She would NOT get him out....****he must have confided in her about his dad?..., I think.
*She gave herself a 5 - 10% chance that J/J would vote with them.
*Re: Keith: Keith doesn’t know what is going on....he’s catching fish, he’s just walking down the beach but he has the idol...he’s great tv, he’s hilarious, funny...
*Would have gone back to Jeremy/Natalie regardless at merge
*She did not feel her dad ruined her game, it was up to her and she gave it all she had
*She had F3 with Jeremy/Nat
*Who is playing the best game right now? Natalie...she’s underrated, she is good with the guys, she’s good with the girls...she is not a physical threat, so many more than her....doesn’t know Josh well, doesn’t know if he is playing good of if he is just confused..

"Survivor Live, ep 6, Dale"
Posted by Flowerpower1 on 11-01-14 at 09:43 PM
Jeff Schroder interviews Dale...

*He felt he was in the crosshairs the entire time due to his age, and having not much in common with all the young, social media - literate kids. They were mostly from the East Coast and he was a rural farmer from the West Coast. Recognized he was in the hot seat from the beginning - got 3 votes the first night.
*He needed 12 hours to recover from the Kelly boot...Jon apologized to him and he snapped at him...

*He said Jon was the one that would most likely buy that his idol was real....he was from the other tribe and didn't know how many clues that Dale may have gotten...he knew that Jon would blab it to the others.
*He said that he knew it wasn't going to work before going to TC, no one would look into his eyes...he said he should have voted for Keith...forced a tie.
*He called his ruse with the fake idol the "fail Mary"...

*When asked what he thought about the other tribe and their rice situation, he responded that he thought he was on Survivor, not Let's Make a Deal!

Said that the night it rained was brutal, there fire of 15 days, went out in a minute and a half...they made a new fire under the shelter and tended it all night, it stopped raining at dawn. Miserable.

He tried talking to Keith pointing out that when Kelly went home, they sent 2 votes to Keith. He asked him, didn't that make you nervous, and he just kinda said, Maybe. He said that Keith knew he would be getting votes the night that Dale went home as well.

He was asked, "What is Missy/Baylor selling that everyone wants? He replied that he had no idea, but gave them props. He said Jon needs to wake up with Missy, she has him wrapped around her little finger. It's like, "Mommy, can I have some more rice, please?", and she says, "Yes, Jon Jon"...(Wow, michel, you really got to the heart of this show in the editing! LOL!) Dale replied that he was willing to vote his own self out in order to not to have to listen to that anymore! LOL!

Question: Why didn't you try to work with Missy/Baylor?
Baylor, he tried to talk to Bay, and she basically..."I am not interested, and when I decide to work with you I will tell you". She spread all kinds of lies, she searched his clothes, as soon as Missy came over she told Missy that Dale was after her...Missy flipped and tried to vote jon’s buddy out, and Baylor flipped and tried to vote him out...they were flippers....they are doing something right?

He was asked who he thought would be voted out at the merge and he replied:
who will be targeted first after the merge?
jon and Jackln, Missy and Bay, Keith and Wes 6 votes right there...thought they would stay together...but, Josh and Reed and Baylor would be close. He said that Wes was underrated....really really strong.

Keith didn't get any votes when Kelley left. He must have talked to Keith after the filming.

"Survivor Live, Ep 7, Julie"
Posted by Flowerpower1 on 11-07-14 at 11:31 AM
Julie was defensive of her quit. Keeps saying how proud she was and that she proved she could do it.
*she got on the show because the producers contacted Rocker
*chance to be herself, not Rocker's GF
*she was judged on her appearance by everyone...hair, boobs, outfit
*Said the RC that she won was bitter sweet, proved to her tribe that she could do it, but knew that while she won, John would not be eating
*When Natalie went after John, she felt torn and targeted...Hunahpu thought, because of Jeremy, that John was running an evil mastermind plan to get out all the girls...
*Thought Natalie was a female version of John, didn't hold it against her, but knew John would
*Her first breaking point was when Natalie called John out at the challenge because she knew that the whole reason Rocker wanted to do this was to redeem himself from the bad publicity 10 years ago, a chance to see the real John Rocker, but this conflict was not congruent with what they wanted, so knew John had to go.
*So, when Rocker was out, she felt for him, but saw it as her opportunity to step up
*The cold night just about took it out of her, the reason she didn’t go was she didn’t want to make a decision in that weak state, she knew she would regret that
*She said the breaking point was at the merge with all the loved ones reunited...not the trail mix
*She didn't know that they had even been in her bag, and she didn't hear any of them call her out...
*She was confused that Missy would be the one to come to her to get her to vote for Josh, when Jeremy and Natalie were her main alliance...thought it was BS that Missy said she would be her LO out there.
*Her core alliance was Jeremy and Natalie, she would stand guard while Jeremy and Natalie dug for the idol...
*Keith and her never related, he talked smack about her...
*She said at the merge feast production said, okay, we are going to camp, you have 5 minutes to get all the extra food and stuff together and out...she said everyone was tucking food everywhere...
*She drew the line because it happened so fast and everyone was being a jerk to her...
*she didn't think anyone ate more than anyone else....they may have eaten a little more than they should, but they kept winning and not losing any members
*She wanted Baylor voted out...she was not her favorite, didn’t bring much to the table, was so protected by Missy Mom, walked around like she owned the place
*Josh was really playing the game hard, he was in a great position...
*She would love for Jeremy to win, has a lovely wife and 2 kids, and $ would help them out a lot
*Best thing she learned from her Survivor experience: She learned to meditate and she has a love for trail mix

The Secret Scene is a Preview...

After Alec is done with his fish bones, he hands Baylor the coconut bowl filled with bones, and says:
Alec: “Here you go”, handing over fish bones trash to her...
Baylor: What’s that...
Alec: “Trash”
Baylor: “What am I supposed to do with it?”
Alex: “Go throw it away”, points to the water, “in the water”...
Baylor: Takes it, and says, “Dude?” As she stands with it, “Alrighty”...starts to move...
Alec: “What?”
Baylor: “nothing, I ‘m down with it”, as she starts to go toward the water to throw it out...
“I feel like a slave... but I’m down...”
Alec: Waving his arms, “You feel like a slave?....you want some fish? This ain’t no charity now...
See Jacklyn looking at this entire exchange in a very negative way...
See Baylor walking down to the water with the trash...talking...
Baylor in conf: Alex treats me like I am his baby sister that he wants to bug, and that’s been the case since day one.
See Keith and Wes at the sight...
Baylor in conf: “So, I am kinda over it”
Missy and Baylor in the shelter...
Missy to Baylor: “He’s like that to all the women...he’s rude to me too.Just roll it off your back....see Alec laying down in the shelter being lazy
Baylor to Missy: I’m trying but it’s just obnoxious
Baylor conf: My moms just, “let it go”, unfortunately, I get bugged easily...
(see Keith dragging a long dead branch, most likely for firewood, toward the shelter area...working)
As, he is working, he yells to Baylor who is lying down in the shelter with Natalie...
Keith to Baylor: “come on Baylor, let’s go get some wood”...
Baylor lifts up her head...and says, “ugh”
Hear Keith yell to her....As we see Missy hearing it all too...”You ain’t done nothing but lay there all day.”
Then you hear Keith say to Baylor, as we see Josh and Reed there too while eating, listening to the exchange...Keith to Baylor: At least check a pulse every now and then.
Baylor sits up: I have to go get wood
Keith heard:
Keith throwing firewood to a pile, as he turns to Missy, “it’s hard to get good help”
Hear Baylor show up, Baylor: “Here, reporting for duty!” See Jaclyn seeing this all...
Keith with Natalie there too, to Baylor: “If you were my kid, you would have done got whooped more than 7 times today...”

So...we can see that Missy is going to blow over Keith criticizing Baylor all morning and day long...we see Jaclyn observing it all...yes, I feel the tide will change...

"RE: Survivor Live, Ep 8, Josh"

*Reed was the original fan, he applied before Reed and got the audition. They wanted them both
*At first they had similar strategies going in, but had to adapt to the people they were with
*Getting back together with Reed did put a target on his back as it was clear who was leading the group. Tribe swap pushed it to the forefront
*He got more airtime because he was on the losing tribe
*He felt horrible about Julie quitting, disappointing for all of them, marred the season, also he was very confident it would have been Jeremy going home if they had gone to TC.
*Said if he could change one thing in his game, he would have insisted on throwing the challenge that nuHunahpu won with the dragon puzzle blocks. They would have easily voted out Jeremy that night. But, in the moment, he and Reed are so competitive that they just couldn't do it...
*He knew Baylor was a lost cause at the merge, she wasn't with them at all...
*He doesn't think Jon/Jaclyn are the power couple...he looks at them as on the bottom of 2 formed alliances as a swing vote. They were wanted as numbers only.
*He's really looking forward to see how Reed will play without him there, now he is in the drivers seat. He's strong at challenges, physically and mentally, great with puzzles...said if you watched it was always Reed, Natalie, and Jeremy who did the best with challenges.
*He knew when he got to nuHunahpu that it was Jeremy leading the old tribe, he had followers, and then he knew that Josh was the leader of the opposing alliance, so there never was a chance to "work together".

*When asked can Reed make it to F3, he answered: as of now, it’s looks very grim, but after the merge things change so quickly, and you never really know what will happen, so absolutely he has a chance. He made it sound to me that things are going to change very abruptly here....?

*The next question that was asked was who does he think at this point has the best chance to win, and Jeff said that he thought it was Jeremy. But, Josh refuted that saying that, Jerremy isn’t in the best position to win because everyone recognizes him as a leader, and as a target, and know that they are going to have to take him out. even if it is at F4 or F5, because he has done so many great things in the game. Then he reflected and answered, Jaclyn.

Interesting! The secret scene was of Reed digging through Keith's bag and telling about it...

Well, Duh! It should have been evident. But he did so many things wrong that he could name many other things to change.

>*He doesn't think Jon/Jaclyn are the

These two statements are in direct contradiction so it's obvious he was simply deflecting the question about the winner. This tells us that Jaclyn will not win.

Julie said she would like for Jeremy to win, and now Josh is saying Jaclyn has the best chance to win. So that's two probable losers.

Now Reed is in the driver's seat? Maybe in how the next episode will be edited, but whether that's actually true... I see no reason why Reed couldn't be the biggest.blindside.ever this week.

"Wes, Reed, Alec Survivor Live"
Posted by Flowerpower1 on 12-05-14 at 11:25 AM
LAST EDITED ON 12-05-14 AT 11:42 AM (EST)

This was a great interview with ALL of them and so many interesting things...

Started off with the Jeremy boot...Reed, after Josh was kicked out he knew he was on the block, so he found Keith’s HII instructions in the bag, desperate times, HE was the one that pitched the blindside to Missy, Bay, Jac...He told them they had 2 options: we can make an average play... go after Keith, flush an idol, OR the epic plan: say we are going after Keith, but then blindside Jeremy, didn’t show it on the episode...really kept America in the dark, they got blindsided too.
Missy asked Reed... said what do you want to do about your alliance?
*Reed knew that Natalie was way better about getting information out of the boys, *Alec said better than any other girl in their season..
*Reed told them they can’t tell the guys, tell them to vote for Reed..Reed told Missy to tell them to vote for Reed, they will do it, then Missy said she was going to tell Natalie, and Reed told her, you CAN’T TELL Natalie! Nat would tell Jeremy and it will all blow up. Tell Nat and Jeremy we are going after Keith tonight.
Build that story back from Hunahpu, about Keith throwing Jeremy under the bus with the HII.
Jaclyn, you need to convey this to Jon...
*At TC, they picked a fight with Keith and Wes to deflect the boot
We came back from that, everyone was shell shocked.

*If Reed didn’t make that move he would have gone home. Three stuck together (Wes, Reed, and Alec) and decided to get Jon...devised the plan, split the votes...Missy did trust Reed somewhat, decided to split the votes Wes or Keith...

*Jeff then wanted to talk about the RC...Baylor picked the team...Reed gave up reward to Missy, He says we did have a relationship with Missy, she talked about the cultural reward...I can give this up for Missy, she hasn’t eaten....they were trying to guilt trip him...strategically it was good for him, damned if he did, damned if he didn’t...Reed going on his 4th reward, so he gave it up.

*Alec loved the baseball reward...was their game toalk there? he was with Jon/Jac Missy...he was trying to crack J/J but not in front of Missy
*On rewards there was always a bad mix to blend
*Wes had good experience on EI, couldn’t get the fire going for 4 hours...
*Wes told everybody that Jon had it...and he’ll probably play it.

*Breakdown in communication...they were hanging on the pole and Wes says to all of them....Jon’s got the idol....

*Alec convinced them talking to Jon and Missy that he was down with voting with them...

*Why did you get off the step...he’s an idiot
*He felt it would have been him and Reed...in the end...Reed said that he would not have stepped down...shaking, up there for 3 hours, I am not stepping down. Jeff brought out Pizza chicken wings and 2 beers and put it right in his face, (Alec)

*The split was spur of the moment...when Jiffy gave him the IN, wasn't planned.

*TC...Reed started with the flushing the idol from Keith and Wes, he’s selling it...Reed told Keith and Wes, we are making you feel really uncomfortable, don’t get nervous, don’t freak out...they told him to just stick with the plan...
*Alec didn’t know if they were going to sell it because Alec was worried about Keith and Wes
*Keith couldn’t see through Jon physically at TC, was telling Reed to just stick to the plan
*Did you hear Natalie tell Jon to play his idol? Yes, they all heard it.
*Natalie: Earlier Nat had come up to Wes and said, let’s vote out Jon tonight...
and she said that she was ready to get Jon out, let;s blindside him...he told her they would probably vote Jon...she wanted Jon to flush his idol for her own game. She stuck to the original plan....you knew that votes would be split....when he played the idol, he knew that it was one of Keith or Wes....Wes said that he thought Keith 80% would go up and say this is for Wes...Wes thought that it was Keith’s idol...thought if he stayed, he would be out next...plan was set...wish he would have put votes on Missy...then Missy would have gone out...

*what was your down fall Wes? food, stepped down for chicken wings
*after wes is gone, we are mad at Keith, but WHY??? frustrating, then they had 5 other people looking at them, Missy was soooo mad at them, she had a moment...was very upset...
*The RC trivia, obvious that you were on the outs...those 5 gave the win to Missy...this season was so diff’t then others because they decided to give up things...Did the guys want to go to EI, yes! They wanted to go....Jon said, I will go for this alliance and I will use it to cover our backs (this is why Jon most likely told Natalie)...Missy chose Nat and Bay, leaving Jac..
*Reed said, Alec and I talked to Jac that morning, if it comes down to the f3, Missy will take them...
*Jaclyn saw it
*Reed called her a brat, Baylor was smirking at Reed, and making under her breathe comments at Reed...Reed said that Baylor got the best of me...insulting bay and Missy as well, a reflection of Missy’s parenting skills.
*Reed had a deal with Missy, if he gave her a reward, she would give him something in return
*IC: Keith with those balls...they were soooo impressed with Keith, firefighter
Wes was so proud.
*Does he spit that much, yes. it’s like punctuation for Keith!
*Jac and Reed had a great relationship, their games just never lined up, but she saw the value of it, they had their fight, so it just didn’t line up.
*Natalie and Missy had them on lock down...knew it would be their only opportunity to put a logical argument...Jon’s wink...that argument dominated the day, 6 hours
going to TC they knew they were in trouble.
*Alec knew he was next after Reed
*They credited Reed for getting Jeremy out...
*What did you mean when you wrote this will be the only time I will write your name down....if she got to the F3, I will never write your name down, won’t vote for her
*Reed, was there anything else they didn’t show
When we first got to the beach at Hunahpu people were searching for idols everywhere...Missy was looking through bags...free for all, found an idol in the tree, and it was a stick...it felt like everyone was playing really hard...Reed wanted to get like 5 people casually together so we are in a majority, they went back to the people I had talked to and said, Reed’s writing your name down....if you go too fast, they will write your name down, or if too slow, that’s bad too...they kept winning.
*Wes/Alec got alot of air time in beginning
*Alec when Reed left, was the toughest day, me and Keith, Keith can’t stick to the plan...Jon and Jack want to play but can’t, so hard with no one there...mentally emotionally breaking down, 2 day exile...day 30...didn’t show any of it, Jon already had it
*Jon said to Reed, can’t send you to EI, can’t risk one of you getting the idol
*Alec was spent, couldn’t even stand up, dead, dizzy...still playing the game...Jon wins immunity (he got down to the 140's with weight, fyi)
**While you were away, Nat came up with plan to get Jon, why not get Jac at that point....it was not a big move, Jac won’t get votes in F3...take out one of the weaker players? They didn’t consider it...Alec was pitching Missy out the whole time, if you don’t make a move they will make a move on you...
*Alec thought they would try to get Keith out, Nat had watched how Alec was talking to Jon, and watched him talking with Jac, so she wanted to get Alec out, because she knew that Keith wouldn’t talk to Jon...she was so savvy, getting to watch it you see how well she’s playing...

*Baylor was nice girl but got on his nerves, brother sister, or BF /GF...how do you have both...Alec said more brother/sister. I would be not nice to her
*The Neon rosary? that was Nadiya’s rosary...Coyopa sucked, couldn’t win...Alec said every time they lost at Coyopa, Natalie would pick up sand and throw it in their eyes, why’d you vote out my sister? Give me back my rosary, no you can’t have it...so he didn’t take it off...part of his swag...gave it back after the game.
*Alec said such an image of her, then got to find out who she was, she was a lot cooler than who I thought she was...

*Rat ran across the TC, if it was moving or breathing, they wanted to eat it...
*Wes chased a squirrel for 2 hours once, wanted to eat it...not at the merge yet and Reed is looking at vultures...pelicans...there were endangered lists that you couldn’t eat...crabs...everywhere...one day Alec ate 45 crabs...primarily shell, started eating the shell and all...
*Reed ate fish heads, and baby frogs alive, tad poles..., then they grew, I ate those, me and camera men
Fish heads they ate...Reed would eat the head...needed sustainence to compete...hunger is the best condiment...Jeremy and snails, hungry enough, you will eat it...and he did.

*why J/J are running the show? Why they are the power couple? They were needed..they flip flopped a lot...targeted for treating the women badly...they were with us...it was tough to be out there. Alec: wish I had controlled that better. We were doing things making survival possible for those girls, Nat did it, but not the other girls.

J/J were with them...Alec dug Josh’s grave...Alec: so hard to not snap out there, and he thought he did good, cause he is an opinionated person...Wes did not snap...he was silent brooding...Wes would say: let’s go walk over here and do impressions of them...

*Q: All strong smart players...Missy and Baylor are a little bit smarter and stronger than you guys, why? Jeremy told him the better players got X’d...Alec is a better player than his brother...They all responded: why would you get rid of players you think you can beat....no reason to take Baylor out when you know you can beat her...same with Jac...start x’g off the threats to your game, leave the goats.

*They all said that Jon and Natalie are the ones really playing the game.
*Who’s third? Missy

*Alex tried to float through the game, will that get him votes in the end? Alot of chiefs and not enough indians....

*Alot of bartering in this season...Reed started it...needed the flint, watching weather reports, last Nic season it rained 12 days...

*Kelly and Reed said we should ration the rice! after a couple days in...I can’t make any more waves, so they went forward with that... if they continued to make waves it would make them targets.
*Tribe dynamic there, Missy started it, there is half the tribe that is selfless and other half that is selfish...their season was about this... and Alec said, this ain’t no charity
are we being selfless enough....you went on 4 rewards, she went on none...ok, let her go...
*Q: How did you feel about Julie quitting? Alec was done with Julie...she was in the best spot...did it mess your game up? Reed: yes, Jeremy would have gone home...the butterfly effect, once you change one thing, it changes the WHOLE game.
*Cold and wet is the worst combination in this...miserable...super fan of show....super fans so happy to be there, when someone quits, that could have been my spot
*Alec: the Trail mix thing...Alec couldn’t believe that she did it...
*Natalie caught Wes stealing a banana, told him she wouldn’t tell
*Missy would give Jon so much more...
*Natalie and I deve’d a strategy, divvy it out equal, then after he got voted out, went back to Missy doling out the food
*Questions from fans:

*Pivotal points they wish were different that could have changed the whole game: 1. Julie quit, 2. Stick to the plan ~ for Reed, it was the "stick to the plan" moment.
*They brushed their teeth with the ash in the fire and it made them crazy white, it was lye.
*Does Jiffy talking in challenges make it hard to concentrate...YES
they do pay attention to Jeff, he’s the only one talking...
they talked about their phrases...Wes: roger that, show time...
*Would rather play by themselves rather than a loved one, the emotional element is exhausting.

I think the reason they didn't show us Reed coming up with the plan to blindside Jeremy was that they never told Natalie, kept her out of the loop and she assumed that it was all Jon's plan, therefore made the commitment to get revenge on Jon...did they want her revenge to seem justified? HMMMM???

ALSO: A TON OF NATALIE love in here....it's all from the game, or some from Ponderosa? Hmmm?? These guys spent time with either Jon or Nat at Ponderosa...wonder which one, or both?

Not too much revealed in the Survivor Live interview with Jeff Shroeder...

*He felt he was TOO trusting in the game.
*At first thought it was Missy that turned on him, and he gave Keith credit for swinging it....I thought this was interesting. Would he go back and tell the jury that it was Keith, could work in his favor if he makes F3....but the F5 and F4 jurists will be there to explain.
*He got on the show because Jaclyn wanted to get on the Amazing Race with another pageant girl friend, someone from Miss USA....but they were turned down. Then they contacted her and asked if she had a loved one, and suggested Survivor. They were not super fans, but did watch some seasons.
*He said that they were always in the middle of alliances because they were nice and approachable to everyone....didn't shun the other alliances. Said that Missy, Baylor, Natalie were not liked by the other alliance, and vice versa. But they were receptive to everyone. It was a strategy.
*Sent Jeremy to find the idol on exile, thinking it was a one day exile, but being 2 days, it was too much. If he had confessed that he had the idol, Jeremy would have not held him trustworthy moving forward, so he had to get him out. He had to oppose Jeremy, because he was more against the couples, and Jon and Jac wanted to get through the game as far as they could as a couple.

*He said if he had not blindsided Jeremy then, Jeremy would have had Missy vote Jaclyn out next, and he would have had Missy vote Jeremy out next....
*Said it was Jaclyn that first told him to play his Idol at TC that night, but they didn't show her...only showed Natalie. He said "REALLY?", because he was so sure that Natalie was so sure that Reed and Alec were with them prior to TC...
*Gave Natalie a lot of credit for pulling off the confusion and sending Alec home...
*He was more concerned about trusting Missy, his trust was in Missy, he didn't consider Natalie
*He thought that Keith masterminded his blindside....Keith got to them, that’s crazy...were you nervous about going in Ponderosa...he was nervous to see Jeremy...he felt so terrible about it....dude I am so sorry...as soon as voted out.

He said that at the end of the game, Baylor was going to volunteer to be voted out so that Missy would have the best chance, and Jaclyn was going to go to Ponderosa first, wanted to go before Baylor because she wanted time to work on the jury. So it would have been Missy/Jon/someone else in the F3...

That's interesting about Baylor volunteering to be voted out. I wonder if she will still do it. Or, in light of Missy's accident, maybe she volunteers so that Baylor can get ahead, like we were discussing in the other thread.

That is interesting. I have a hard time believing that Baylor was totally candid with that. Baylor was willing to push her mom into the mud twice, and into the water before that.

Would Missy abdicate? Maybe. It would actually make more sense that she would want to work the jury for Baylor.

Here are my notes on that section:

Jac and Jon talked game...in your mind who is in the F3...Missy and I had plan...us four, then Nat came in...Jac was going to give her game up for me...you have more of the jury votes, and I will fall on the sword, and Baylor said that too for Missy....
*Jon had a huge trust in Missy, my focus was, can I trust Missy? This seems too good to be true, didn’t think of Natalie...
*How was Jac going to do that?...when we got down to five, she was going to say, vote me out, I want to go before Baylor, because I want to be around the jury longer...

I got the impression that Missy and Jon were the two real bonded, committed in the alliance. They each brought their partners in...Jaclyn and Baylor. I think this probably happened pretty early post merge, before the Jeremy boot. Then, Jon and Missy trusted it, but it was Baylor that went astray with Natalie. As he says, he felt sure of Missy, and discounted Natalie and Baylor, while Jaclyn was suspicious.
