One hour then it is Dancing with the Truth AKA the 3rd Presidential Debate. Wonder what SNL will do to it?

Anyway, Melissa injured and the TV guide things seem to indicate it is a non-elimination week anyway..

And here we go to guilty pleasure land.

With the pressure, anything can happen.

They start on the dancefloor, not going down the steps.

Looks like starting with team at least the one team looks all dressed the same.

Melissa moving carefully.

Splitting the competition into two nights.

1 Team and 4 individuals each night.

Call Me Maybe Team tonight.

It seemed to lose a bit of steam at the end for me.

Len. Longwinded getting started. Elements I really liked. There was too much gyrating, on the raunchy side.

Bruno. Always on, a tasty tease. Finished it cleanly, the bounce it should come naturally.

Carrie Ann. Last week we saw the sensuality, your upper body was tense. The runs were not quite in sync. Not your best but a good try.

Scores: 8 - 8 - 8.5 24.5/30

Brooke mentions the dressing room thing, I think everyone thinks they are doing some horizontal dancing.

If they're not doing some horizontal dancing, they're doing a damn good job of making everybody think they are!

For some reason, I find them kind of annoying.

That was just okay for me. Agree that she looked tense. Also - HATED her clunky shoes! Very distracting.

Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You

Dancing the Rumba.

Wants to inspire a lot of baby making.

Hmmm, I didn't feel the connection between the music & the dance's movements at ALL!

Yeah, I didn't think a rhumba was supposed to be so..... fierce.

Bruno: That was not a dance, that was master class theater, expressing every movement as if it was words. Gripping thrilling one of the best performances.

Carrie Ann. Let the baby making begin.

She fell off her chair.

Then Bruno fakes an injury to also get a kiss from Giles.

Balance between, poetry in motion.

Len. Hot-tober. Peta you lifted your leg up a lot.

Rewind to see the fall again.

You can't see the fall, but she was wiggling on the edge of the chair before she went under the table.

Better angle on Carrie Ann's fall for the scores.

Scores: 10 - 9.5 - 10 29.5/30

Is the ballroom having a gravity problem.

Tom did say: When you said let the baby making begin I didn't think you were going to get into position.

Not sure how exactly she fell, but she did it very gracefully and recovered in a charming manner. It was kind of funny when Bruno went over the desk to have Giles pick him up.

Carrie Ann was probably so excited over Giles and Peta's sexy rumba that she fell off her chair. I did that myself once, although I actually fell off a bench!

Anyway, Giles & Peta practically melted the dance floor!

In most seasons that would be a pretty good quickstep.

Carrie Ann. Your best dance, carriage was lifted. One little boo boo, but nice work.

Len. Your best dance and dancing to the Maksimum.

Bruno. Great variation, posture better you looked great.

Scores: 8.5 - 8.5 - 8.5 - 25.5/30

That was really nice, if not as flashy as some. And Kirstie looked GREAT!

I liked when Max said something about now that Bristol is gone, there is no one that is a weak dancer.

"Emmitt and Cheryl"

Barry Manilow - Copa, Copa Cabana.

There is a giant inflatable parrot, two of them.

Well, that made even me smile (which is QUITE an accomplishment, given my current state of mind!). Love Emmitt!!

Emmitt always brings the fun.

Len. Unstoppable performance, well done.

Bruno. Always switched on. Maximal pleasure, make it look easy. Best party in the country.

Carrie Ann. You have the samba swagger.

Scores: 9.5 - 9.5 - 10 - 29/30

Really Bruno, Really?!?!

Am I the only one who thinks it was an unfortunate costume decision to have dark fringe over Cheryl's nether regions?

I thought the same thing! Very odd. (and did the skirt start to unravel?)

"Team Shawn"
Posted by Snidget on 10-22-12 at 08:52 PM
Call Me Maybe,

Sure to get more rehearsal injury drama before the dance.

It apparently effected her memory.

Herniated disk in her upper neck.

She is cleared to dance.

Think the other time will go comedy, so they are going technical.

Shawn afraid of getting dropped on her face again.

Sneakers got stuck and her entire neck cracked. Got the EMT's

DWTS High

She didn't snap her head off, I can breath.

Len. this is a touchdown. individual were fantastic, as a group tight. Liked how you introduced each couple into it.

Bruno. The flow the way you introduced each other. Indistinguishable the pros and the stars.

Carrie Ann does a cheer.

Scores 9.5 - 10 - 10 29.5/30

LOVED the transitions between the couples! I've never heard the song before (Yes, I'm old, LOL), but it had great energy! Thought they did a really good job with it.

Wow, it was pretty unavoidable this summer. Even infected the Olympics.

Gangnam Style (tomorrow's song) is mostly a You-Tube thing, but has had a few TV appearances. Although one of the radio stations around here plays it once in awhile.

I'm waiting to see how the DWTS singers butcher the Korean lyrics.

I thought that was really fun and I agree about the transitions. I also had to remind myself who the pros were.
