Tonight: someone goes to the jury.

Someone who is not Tony.

No matter what the episode's edit tries to lie about, it won't be Tony.

Regardless of the sheer number of idiot tricks thrown in own faces, it can't be Tony.

It doesn't even count if EPMB hands him a cross with three nails, then releases the inferior results to theaters. Still ain't Tony.

Because next week's already-released episode title is all his.

CBS: We May Figure This Spoiler Thing Out Yet.

No they won't.

The voiceover confirmed that what Spencer found wasn't the Tyler Perry idol (or, more specifically, wasn't the "idol with special powers").

Jeff's voiceover recap of the last episode said that Spencer found an idol, but that it was not "the idol with special powers." As if the "idol with special powers" had already been brought up during the show. But it wasn't, at least not that I remember. Plus, it implied that the "idol with special powers" is out there, waiting to be found by someone.

So, WTF?

It was. At the merge, the idol with special powers was mentioned by JP. Noting that it will be hidden at camp.

Tony is pissed that he got votes at TC. Arguing with those who voted against him.

I can understand why he's confused: Survivor has always been about keeping the most deserving. That's why so many in the finals were called Goats which means Greatest of all times, no?

LJ and Trish wondering how paranoid Tony will get, will he do something stupid? Now Tony and LJ talking. Tony in confessional wants LJ gone (Heh, I was wrong about that). Tony tells LJ that Woo probably has an idol. But the point, in confessional, is that he's trying to set up LJ, not Woo.

I thought Benji was out of this season.

Three teams of three. Reward: shower, shampoo, massage, lunch, cocktails.

Jeremiah, Spence and Tony lead off.

Woo, Tasha and Kass last on first stage.

J, T and S still well ahead. They win reward!

Tony wants to talk to J and S about blindsiding LJ.

Woo wanted the food. He thinks Tony will keep an eye on J and S.

Jefra talks. She thinks they will stick together. LJ talks to Jefra and Trish. He thinks he and Tony are still solid. They agree they need to calm Tony down, and stay with the plan.

Spencer tells Tony that he and Jeremiah are pawns that Tony can use to his advantage. Tony wants to keep them until he wants to make a big move. He promises they will not get voted out next. Spencer doesn't trust Tony, but will tell him that he does, to get further along.

Colored tiles. Repeat back the order. Really?

First round: yellow blue red green

Trish gets blue wrong! she's out

Woo is out on red!

2:
Red green purple black blue green blue

Jefra, Kass, Spencer, Jeremiah out on six.

Tasha defeats Tony and LJ with blue on seven and wins immunity.

LJ wants to split the votes between Spencer and Jeremiah at TC. Things not looking good for LJ.

LJ wants to split the votes between Spencer and Jeremiah at TC.

LJ was going for a tie? WTF? No wonder he couldn't see the knife. He couldn't see the numbers either.

"RE: IC"
Posted by dabo on 04-16-14 at 09:19 PM
No, his math was right. 3-way tie, six revote when it is one against five.

"RE: IC"
Posted by Brownroach on 04-16-14 at 09:34 PM
I guess the idea was that, on the revote, Spencer, Jeremiah, and the person that they and Tasha voted for -- let's say LJ since they did in fact vote for him -- would be excluded from voting. So, theoretically only Tasha would revote for LJ, while Kass, Trish, Jefra, Woo, and Tony could still split their votes 3-2 to get out either Spencer or Jeremiah, or plant all five votes on one of them.

"RE: IC"
Posted by Georganna on 04-17-14 at 09:20 PM
If the initial vote had produced a three-way tie but Spencer had played his HII (negating the votes against him), would he then have been allowed to participate in the re-vote?

In this case, whether only one - or two - votes could have been cast against a probable five makes no difference, but I can imagine other circumstances when it very well might.

"RE: IC"
Posted by Brownroach on 04-17-14 at 10:24 PM
I kind of think: No. But, possibly. In any case, Spencer would have been ineligible to be voted for on the revote.

"RE: IC"
Posted by udg on 04-18-14 at 00:40 AM
Jeff always says that votes against the person "don't count", so it would be as if no one had voted for Spence, which should allow him to vote in a revote if he played his idol.

Tasha happy she won. In your face, LJ!

LJ wants to stick to plan. Girls vote J, boys vote S. Tony still wants LJ out, but has work to do. He tells Woo that LJ wants to blindside Woo. Woo is gullible enough to believe Tony. Then Tony tells Spencer that he wants to get rid of LJ. Spencer agrees and talks to Jeremiah. Now Tony's talking to Trish. She doesn't know what to believe. Tony may have to stick with his alliance, and kiss ass and get rid of Spencer or Jeremiah.

Lies that he works in construction, after he already told everyone he is a cop.

Woo says our six is still strong, they should take out the bottom three.

Time to vote

Spencer votes LJ

Votes:

No idol played

LJ

Jeremiah

LJ votes - Tony, Woo, Spencer, Tasha, Jeremiah

Jeremiah votes - Kass, Trish, Jefra (as planned)

Spencer vote - LJ

Next week: more Tony, more Woo. Looks like Woo may get injured falling out of a tree.

"RE: Who voted for whom"

You know; Spencer, Tasha and Jeremiah could team up with Kass and Jefra to gain majority or stay with Woo and Tony. There's chaos on both sides though.

"RE: Who voted for whom"
Posted by Georganna on 04-16-14 at 10:55 PM
Why not Spencer, Tasha, Jeremiah, Jefra and Trish (a much more stable group) and leave Tony, Woo and Kass to all of the chaos that the three of them can manage within their trio ... in three cycles?

Or would Spencer get bored?

"RE: Who voted for whom"
Posted by Brownroach on 04-16-14 at 11:16 PM
The thing is that Trish is unconnected to anyone in that group except, vaguely, Jefra. She's still connected to Tony and Woo as original members of Brawn. And she also pulled Kass in when it was perceived as needed.

"RE: Who voted for whom"
Posted by Georganna on 04-18-14 at 12:57 PM
I certainly think that Trish was, at Day 26 (the 'morning after'), more connected to Tony than to anyone else in the Solarrion camp. In fact, we've heard as much from her. But by then she had also spent fourteen of those days with Jefra (and with LJ). And I don't think that we've seen any indication that there was anything but a pleasant, cooperative relationship between the two women. So, in Survivor's immediate-intimacy environment, I wouldn't call that two-week relationship 'vague'.

But then, I wish I hadn't used the word 'stable' to describe a theoretical alliance composed of three Cancer, a Pisces and a Gemini when the word 'compatible' - as in naturally-connected - would have been more apt.

Cancer (Trish, Spencer and Jefra) are instinctively maternal (nurturing/possessive) individuals. So, their natural approach to alliances is familial - the environment that is also most comfortable for their cocoon-prone fellow Water Sign natives – Pisces (Tasha and Woo).

And, most particularly in Survivor’s culture of chaos and crisis, Gemini (Jeremiah) virtually require the shelter and calming influences of an attentive, settled alliance. In the Game’s history, no group has been credited with more social mayhem than anxious Gemini unnerved by the constant state of cultural climate change and intense competition surrounding them. No group except, of course, really enraged Virgo.

However, as Spencer has reminded us, in the Game it is often marriages of convenience between otherwise incompatible personalities – Sagittarius’ (Tony’s and Kass’) forte – that carry the day. After the next day. After the next day.

So, whatever the eventual outcome, it is going to be interesting to see if Tony was able to waltz right back into his previous alliance (as he seemed to believe he would be) despite his in-her-face destruction of Trish’s conviction that she was managing her family unit (including Tony) very nicely, thank you.

Because I think that, after dancing around the issue for 25 days, it will be his casual disregard of her domestic leadership and his abandonment of what, I am convinced, she believed to be a partnership in which she had the advantage – and not the loss of LJ – that will most anger and alarm Trish (who very much planned to allow Tony to help her win the million).

So, I am really curious to know what she’ll do about it. Because, as Morgan has so well demonstrated, Cancer simply do not relinquish a grudge. Ever …

Thank you. To be honest, it was a last minute vote change. I was thinking Woo or Jeremiah most of the week, but neither really felt right. L.J. had the confessionals pattern, would they run that play a third time in a row? Took a chance, turned out they did.

That said, I really do hope I'm wrong about Jefra's potential quit, but after this she should think about her position in her alliance, all the links in the chain obviously are not equal.

Will someone post something about the coming attraction soon? I've been waiting. I only got to see the first half-hour of the show because my CBS station went kplooey (as did my Fox affiliate, they share facilities, so I couldn't even switch to the singers). What is in store for next week?

The second half of the preview concerned Woo on a quest for food, and it showed him fairly high up in a tree trying to shake down some fruit (presumably) and then falling out of the tree backward. Implying he may get seriously injured. (Medevac? But I think probably not.)

The first part had Tony shooting off his mouth again, but I don't remember what he was saying.

In the jungle, Trish & Jefra were talking about Tony. Jefra was saying, "I'm sorry but I don't want to be fooled by Tony".... while Tony is spying on them. #SpyShack!

Then Woo is up a tree and falls out.
Edited to add: I just watched it in slow-mo and it looks like he gets his feet below him before he lands....(originally he is going down back-first).

Eta: I wonder if this, following her question to Tony post-TC, puts Jefra at risk this week.
