1--Ok, if you're hangin' with people from the show, you don't REALLY dislike them, do you?

2--Why are you wearing Fisherman Joe's ugly hat?

3--Why didn't YOU fall in love with Laura, since every other man did?

4--Does Toni look fat in person, as she does on the TV?

5--Where's the SEX?? Four days out, and no sex yet! Kissies, massagies, but no sex?? What kind of trashy show is this pretending to be???

6--Did YOU make a "love connection"?

7--Please rate the women in the order you are attracted to them, with 10 being she keeps you up at night thinking about her, to 0 being you can't stand to be in the same room with her:

Jeanette --
Gina --
Laura --
Lisa --
Toni --
Melissa --
Tomika (sp?) --
Am I forgetting someone?

LOL--who knows when/if the clown will bother to answer this--he's either slaving over his Ep. 2 summary or busy "atoning" for things (oops! that would imply a conscience, wouldn't it?!) I bet the rest of us could pitch in to answer your queries in the interim, though!

>1--Ok, if you're hangin' with people from the show, you don't REALLY dislike them, do you?
I have doubts that shakes would admit to actually LIKING anyone. . . but I can about guarantee that if they're hanging out together, it's to maximize the odds of being recognized in public.

>2--Why are you wearing Fisherman Joe's ugly hat?
He got a free bowl of soup with it.

>3--Why didn't YOU fall in love with Laura, since every other man did?
He probably fell madly in love with ALL of them, but wouldn't take a chance on admitting that to anyone (even himself), as it would exponentially increase the odds of having his ego ground into a fine powder. I believe this was all about FAME and MONEY, not necessarily finding a real "love match."

>4--Does Toni look fat in person, as she does on the TV?
The camera is supposed to add 10 pounds. My guess is that wouldn't make much difference. But forget the body type--it's the bug-eyes I keep getting scared by!

>5--Where's the SEX?? Four days out, and no sex yet! Kissies, massagies, but no sex?? What
>kind of trashy show is this pretending to be???
Yeah! You (like the FUX executives and all their lousy propaganda) claimed it got pretty disgusting! Of course, this isn't exactly cable or pay-TV, so maybe they had to tone it down for censors and the time slot. Maybe he'll surprise us by dropping his pants and showing Dennis Franz' butt before it's all over.

>6--Did YOU make a "love connection"?
Given the time he's spent online, I think it's safe to say NO.

>7--Please rate the women in the order you are attracted to them, with 10 being she keeps you up

You're on your own, here--I couldn't begin to figure out shakes' taste in anything. . . except that I'm sure Michael would appear at the top of ANY list!

And I think there's an Andrea or something along those lines. You're definitely one short.

GT,

Thanks for the great answers. You could even be channeling Shakes! (Now, isn't THAT a frightening thought!)

Especially this one:

<<<>6--Did YOU make a "love connection"?
Given the time he's spent online, I think it's safe to say NO.>>

Ouch! LOL!

Here's another one: Why does a lawyer from Chicago want to be famous?

>Why does a lawyer from Chicago want to be famous?
That one's easy, because he's told the story ad nauseum! The lawyer shtick is a family thing--he actually thinks LC is his ticket to a career as a Hollowwood writer/comedian. . .

Now THAT'S funny! (Yeah, I see Dicque fielding all kinds of offers for this. . .) Actually, if anyone has the temperament for this, shakes does--and by his own admission he can't suck worse at it than he does at the attorney biz. I'm just not terribly clear on how he's going to make the jump from what they see on-screen to what he really wants--unless he thinks they're going to beat a path to SB to read his summaries.

Eeaaaaaannngggghhh. . . COULD happen. . .

Well, it worked for David E. Kelly...

(not that I'm comparing shakes to one of the best television writer/producers of all time, but he *WAS* a lawyer -- in fact, a Boston lawyer -- before going on to Hollywood)

But then again, I think he actually worked as an associate at some big firms before switching -- not his Dad's ambulance chasing firm.

Webby, I didn't realize this. He apparently has helped bolster the veracity of the belief that you will excel as a writer if you stick to what you know.

But what does that mean, as far as our shakes is concerned?. . . Drug humor seems to be out of favor (have you seen what Comedy Central did to ruin the Cheech & Chong movies?! TOTALLY ruined them, in the attempt to avoid making stonerism funny. . . a tragedy!), I can't imagine people would find ambulance-chasing a compelling subject, and I suppose the powers that be would frown on him lampooning "reality" teevee. . . What's left? A sitcom based on a nice Jewish family who forces the misfit middle son to join the family firm? Hmmm. . . I don't think THAT one has been done before, has it?

If so, KUDOS to moms for picking out the '420' shirt Shakes
was wearing in ep-2! I'm surprised that wasn't blurred over.
