If you wondered how long it would take Paula to need to top up on whatever was in her AI cup for all those years. Now you know. She's across the hall at DWTS, keep all information about whether she got into the AI vat before, during, or not until after the show on this thread until the West Coast recovers from the contact high.

Previously She who cannot be killed knocked off two champions and they picked various assorted mostly non ballroom dances for each other.

And to top off the strangeness...Paula.

They inflicted them on each other, who do you want in the pool for who is going to push whom over the rail of the Celebraquarium?

Simon and Randy, so I say she got to the vat before the show.

Doing the cartwheel trick.

Oh dear.

There is a giant cake on stage.

What was that ending. I think I drank some of Estee's Insomnia Potion.

Len. You turn Monday into funday. Liked it a little cleaner, for fun you are the best.

Paula. What a way to start the night. Take on the role beautifully danced wonderfully a vision. Maks tries to suck up to Paula.

Bruno, you are a mad woman and I love it. We love it.

Carrie Ann. You look stunning. I think your dancing was fabulous, you entertained us. We loved it.

Next week is Guilty Pleasures.

7.5 - 7.5 - 7.5 - 7.5 - 30/40

Nobody really sucked tonight but Kirstie was the worst, and the scores reflected that. Assuming Bristol's fan base stays loyal, she will not get booted this week, so Kirstie's fan base better stay solid or she may go.

Rock and Roll

At the Hop is their song. Mark wants to dress as a bunny. Mark having to dumb down the routine. Wow they must want her out to show that comment.

Oh dear...

Mark did a lot of dancing.

Paula. See improvement, starting to have some fun. I appreciate Mark dancing hard. Proud of you.

Bruno. Finally got pumping up. Fast quickly, focused, pumping it. Well done.

Carrie Ann. High Tens her and tells her good job.

They are all drinking the Paula Juice.

Len. Failure to try, but you gave it your all. A little safe, but your best dance so far.

8 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 32/40

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

"WT freaking F???"
Posted by Karchita on 10-16-12 at 01:14 AM
Eights?? For that? I am no dancer, but I could do better than that. She was slow and wooden. Once again, Mark was doing all the dancing. All of the other competitors are dancing circles around her and doing routines that are much more difficult.

This is the All Stars season and they are giving eights for that? Unbelievable.

"RE: WT freaking F???"
Posted by Round Robin on 10-16-12 at 01:24 AM
It was a hell of a lot better than you think. If Kirstie got 7.5's for that sluggish so-called dance she did, Bristol's 8's were justified by comparison.

"RE: WT freaking F???"
Posted by Karchita on 10-16-12 at 10:54 AM
I did miss the first few minutes of the show didn't see Kirstie's dance, so I can't comment on that. But compared to what Apolo did to get 8.5s, and what others have done on this show over the years to get 8s, there is no way that I see that score as reasonable. It was a simple dance, done without grace, finesse, or pizzazz.

"RE: WT freaking F???"
Posted by Sagebrush Dan on 10-16-12 at 05:48 PM
I agree. It was nowhere near an 8, and to score it that near to Apolo's was an insult.

"RE: Bristol and Mark"
Posted by zookeepertx on 10-15-12 at 08:27 PM
Oooh, all 8's? I don't think so! That shouldn't have scored that high, especially with Mark talking about dumbing it down!

"RE: Bristol and Mark"
Posted by Sagebrush Dan on 10-16-12 at 01:10 AM
The easiest dance to do of all of them. It would have been hilarious to watch her butcher Bollywood. But then I wouldn't have been able to enjoy Gilles nail it.

"Sabrina and Louis"
Posted by Snidget on 10-15-12 at 08:33 PM
Disco, more Studio 54 than Saturday Night Fever.

Feel they can't dumb it down or go safe.

How many blue ostriches had to die for that coat.

You should be Dancing.

"RE: Sabrina and Louis"
Posted by zookeepertx on 10-15-12 at 08:38 PM
Wow, that was the first dance of Sabrina's that I've really enjoyed!
Oh, they're giving scores now.... only .5-1 point each above Bristol?!?! ARGHHH!

"RE: Sabrina and Louis"
Posted by Snidget on 10-15-12 at 08:38 PM
Whooooo, that was not holding back. They give them 8's I may have to shoot my TV.

Bruno. The disco diva. As performances go, your most vibrant and alive, you lost timing twice. Had all the glory and glitz.

Carrie Ann. Maybe you were off beat Bruno. I asked you to be more than we expect. Vibrant, and you were not off beat. Did have one dismount hit the floor.

Len. I am having a moment, I'm back 1978, Len disco. I loved it well done.

Paula. The feathers the hair, all spot on. Louis you choreographed to Sabrina's strengths.

Real show at 8pm.

9 - 9 - 8.5 - 9 - 35.5/40

Cuban Dance of Love. Bolero.

Fog Machine goes nuts.

"RE: Emmitt and Cheryl"
Posted by Snidget on 10-15-12 at 08:51 PM
Emmitt's shirt is 50 shades of wrong.

Carrie Ann fanning herself. I love this job. Nothing better than watch a big burly man get all dramatic and sexy. Articulate your lines and you meant that hip thing.

Len. Bolero is slow so mistakes are magnified. Lovely fluidity, raunchy touches lifts were clean.

Paula. Going to pop Bruno's eyes back in his head. You are a sexy beast. Less is more, you captivated us and left us all wanting more.

Bruno. The mood was steamier than August in Louisiana. Made something for a big Man to get these smooth lines and fleshy flavor, you got it man.

9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 36/40

Emmitt did more standing around while Cheryl danced around him.

Not the best I've seen white people try to do, but did a good job, very fast.

Len. I know nothing about Bollywood, but I know what I like. Hotter than a Curry, whatever dance you give total commitment.

Paula. Channeling Bruno. Can't tell what she is saying.

Bruno. Bollywood superstar is born. Stylistically perfection.

Carrie Ann Namaste, Aladdin has nothing on you. Mudras, changing the expressions. Fantastic.

Donny Osmond Duet with Susan Boyle. Legion of Extraordinary Dancers.

Live at 8 tomorrow.

10 - 9.5 - 10 - 10 - 39.5/40

Jukebox and Soda Shop Counter.

Cats on a Hot Tin Roof.

Some of the lifts were a bit rough and I think they were seriously out of sync once.

Paula. Fit like hand to glove, so much joy, footwork was impeccable. One little nee nee, very excited about this and you nailed it.

Bruno. Fearless and Fierce. Footwork didn't miss a beat near perfection.

Carrie Ann. So light on your feet. Tony choreography exceptional.

Len. Rather you failed going for it. You are a class dancer, clean and correct. Glitterbug. Made little Lennie very happy.

9 - 9 - 9.5 - 9.5 - 37/40

Everyone but Len standing.

Bruno. Mesmerizing sexy out of this world. Keeps getting better.

Carrie Ann. I'd be a little scared of you guys right now. Way you finish every line, synchronization, ridiculous.

Len. Good news from Goodman. I really liked it. To get that speed and keep the rhythm and timing.

Paula is just rubbing all over Bruno. Sexy, down and dirty with the hips, Derek the choreography, you should be on the ballot running.

Scores after the break.

10 - 9.5 - 10 - 10 - 39.5/40

Discussing the choice during a couples massage

Brought in a choreographer. Karina wants to know why they have to show her cussing.

Broken toe in Val and Kelly, so those two are doing it, right? And I don't mean dancing tonight.

Dancing after the break.

"RE: Apolo and Karina"
Posted by Snidget on 10-15-12 at 09:48 PM
Fog machine going.

Poison.

Karina fell hard. Rare to see a star doing so much better than the professional. Poor thing, she is really upset.

Tom was amazed with taking off the mic pack to the music.

Carrie. Karina are you OK? You did not mess up the whole routine. The beauty about tonight is everyone is outside of their comfort zone, we know that. Apolo that is an old school, liked the modern edge, you nailed all the choreography.

Tom, moving it along.

Len gives them a gang sign. Karina, not even looking at you. Apolo you were fanstastic.

Paula. Professionally always hardest on yourself. Kudos, this style is natural to you, got the swagger.

Bruno. Even made the running man look good. You covered it well, don't worry my darling.

Carson running around backstage and will be revealing the secrets tomorrow.

8.5 - 9 - 8.5 - 8.5 - 34.5/40

Some parts didn't quite work for me, but mostly a good job.

Len. I love contrast. That is what we saw, you are the biggest revelation.

Paula Most proud of you, amazing job

Bruno, this was the hardest, takes years of training, did it beautifully Should be proud.

Carrie Ann. What makes it amazing is to be truly in touch with raw emotion, was stunning. Some moves beyond your ability, took courage.

Val carries her to keep her off her broken toe.

9 - 9.5 - 9.5 - 9.5 - 37.5/40

It was "fix you" by Coldplay, one of my favorite songs.

I loved it but it was unfortunate that they went out of sync. They stayed in character all show... I think Kelly has a boyfriend though.

She just dances so much better with Val than she did with Alec... Such a huge improvement from season 1.

"RE: Apolo and Karina"
Posted by udg on 10-16-12 at 01:29 AM
Even before the fall, Apollo was doing better than Karina.

I'm sure they'll show us in slow-mo tomorrow, but the fall was because of Apollo's mic pack. It flew out of his costume and went under her foot, but it was still tethered to him and got jerked out from under her just as she stepped on it. The timing was incredible.

"RE: Apolo and Karina"

Yep, I hope that makes her feel a bit better. Anyone who stepped on that would have gone down. Just bad luck.

Poor Karina; that really had to be upsetting! Apolo really killed it, though.
