The Rules

This week the rules are different. This week you want to vote for the finish order of the seven remaining players. Please use the letter codes in casting your votes:

CE. Ciera Eastin, Laura M's daughter (Tadhana/NewT)
GP. Gervase Peterson, Marissa's uncle (Galang/NewT)
MC. Monica Culpepper, Brad's wife (Galang/NewG)
TA. Tyson Apostal, Rachel's boyfriend (Galang/NewT)

TW. Tina Wesson, Katie's mother (Galang/NewG/Kasama)
LM. Laura Morett "Laura M", Ciera's mother (Galang/RI/Kasama)
HM. Hayden Moss, Kat's boyfriend (Tadhana/NewT/Kasama)

Using the codes, just erase where it says "Re: SurvivorBlowsTribe, Time to Vote..." and replace with your votes. Your votes will take this form

7th/6th/5th/4th/3rd/2nd/1st winner!

So, for example, if you think Hayden (HM) will lose the duel first and finish in 7th, Laura (LM) will then lose the duel to finish 6th, Tina (TW) will win the duel and be booted at the next TC to finish 5th, Tyson (TA) will be booted at the next TC finishing 4th, Monica (MC) will get the least votes at FTC and finish 3rd, Gervase (GP) will finish 2nd, and Ciera (CE) will win, your vote would read

HM/LM/TW/TA/MC/GP/CE wins!

Ties are possible (tie for 6th, tie for 2nd, tie for 1st) so note them in your votes with = or however you wish. All the standard rules apply, of course, like if you want to change your vote reply to your own vote post. Say what you like. Have Fun!

I do like the dynamics of a season of pairs that know each other.
I don't particularly like the inclusion of returnees.
All said, this does not rank in my Top5 seasons but it is in the Top15.
I wish Final Council was a bit more even with who's gonna win.
OR that a couple of surprises snuck themselves into FTC. (Like Ciera and Tina with Gervase?)
But it looks very much like it's Tyson's game.
Which makes for a very boring final 3 hours.

I only watched one or two eps, but it's been obvious reading the posts who will be the final 3 and that Tyson will destroy them all. Katie's interview confirmed that they dismiss Gervase, and Monica's the third wheel. Tyson gets all the votes.

Hayden loses his balance early on RI.

Age and hunger weaken Tina so much that she goes out right after Hayden, giving the RI win to Laura.

Ciera wins the next IC, and Laura is voted out 3-2.

Gervase wins the final IC, his alliance holds, and out goes Ciera.

Monica and Gervase go voteless after final TC questions and comments reveal the jury's contempt for their gutless play.

Even though most of the jurors don't like him either, Tyson wins unanimously.

This season has unfolded through Tyson. In the first episode he was quiet yet had a very strong presence. He noted that he knew how to start fire because Boston Rob showed him. Seems he was paying a lot of attention to Boston Rob. He was able to bond with the guys, namely Aras and Gervase, and the girls, Monica and Tina.

When he lost his loved one at Redemption Island he vowed revenge and it made him commit to the end game as he didn't choose to change places with Rachel. When the tribes were swapped he landed on top with a majority from his old tribe and he gathered his new tribe and gave them a place and purpose in the hierarchy. He also paid attention to the naive Hayden and Caleb and found the Hii. Furthermore, he knew how to play the idol! Don't tell anyone that you have I t and use it when you think you need it.

He effectively steered the boots by allowing others to think the boots were their ideas and he managed to scale down his greatest competitors one by one. He also survived with a lot of luck, as all winners do. He survived a rock draw, and he survived being called out as the obvious winner early.

This is Tyson's story this season and he is quite deserving.
