They also mentioned sweepstakes, but I think it had to do with radio and local TV sponsors, rather than the SO people.

I'm asking if you could when prizes when you went to the tour because someone said they won a trip?

I think this is the first time they have ever done it. I agree, it looks like the prizes are coming from local radio and TV stations. Free, who said they won a trip? Because it doesn't look like it has happened yet.

Is this tour you're talking about like the mall tours they did last year? I went to see Rhonda last year at our local mall. I really liked her then. It's amazing to me how much she has changed. Anyway, there certainly weren't any drawings or give-aways at that event.

Yeah, the tour was in Feb of 2005. I heard nothing about prizes, but the About.com site mentions "sweepstakes" in the same blurb as the local radio, business sponsors.

I'd bet that ANY and ALL prizes were from the local promoters. I live in Minneapolis, and I know it was a big deal at Mall of America.

Yes this tour is the mall tour from last year.

I won't say because maybe this person is not lying to me. I'm untrusting and have my doubts about this person. I've been chatting with this person since september and some of the things this person says about starting over seem weird to me. The most recent is this trip they said they won at the tour last year. The trip that they won is where I live.

The person lives in Washington state. They went to the tour in Washington state. The trip they said they won at the tour is in Florida.

The tour will be supported by local affiliate promotions, radio partnerships, sweepstakes, and print media.
