Two dances each (reportedly one ballroom, one Latin), two eliminated couples, a promised twist for the Latin Round...keep all that and more on this thread until the West Coast is done thudding on the pillows (or not).

Jaleel got yanked,

Dance Trio, Double Trouble.

Next Week, the Semi-Finals.

Down the stairs as usual this time. Definitely Ballroom first based on the costumes. Melissa in Tiger Stripes.

Trio Round, pick an eliminated pro or troupe member to "enhance" their routines.

First dance, the Tango.

Higher Ground. Nice intensity.

Len: Ding Dong Donald, first round knock out. set the standard high. Great job.

Bruno. Beware of the killer stilettos, though I would have to call a marriage counselor. Going for it like there was no tomorrow. Touch down first pass.

CA. So focus, shapes more dynamic. This is tight, a little more drama, subtleties of the drama.

Cross talk between the judges over CA's opinion.

Tribute to ##### Clark tomorrow.

Scores 9~9~9 27/30

Viennese Waltz. Trouble matching emotion with technique.

Hates Whiners and Complainers. Rehearsal roller coaster.

Christina Perri - A Thousand Years Google threatens this is a Twilight song.

Nice spin at the end.

B. Heavenly fluidity, seamless transitions, total emotional involvement, amazing.

Tom asks her why this one is making her cry.

CA. We all felt it. Sometimes dances speak to you, sometimes they sing to you. Something magical is happening between you. So special.

Len. Understand what they are saying. This girl in hold is the best. Missed a great chance, 6 bars in hold wasn't enough. Tom has to step in. Would have liked more dancing in hold. You disappointed me.

Scores after the break.

10~8~10 28/30

Dancing the Fox Trot. Uptick in the head butting.
Maks goes outside to keep from punching something. 30 minutes on 3 things. He says she is making him look like a terrorist. She says she can't make him look like a bad guy. She says it is growing pains, and they are passionate.

Dancing to Maggie May.

Maks as a nerd.

First part in hold it seems he is dragging her around a bit. Gets better later on, but not by much.

CA. Your shoulders were down, your neck was up. Best dance ever, so in your element. Fantastic dance, some mess ups in the beginning.

Len. Potentially this was your best dance, one or two incidents, but good dancing.

B. The cougar, much better lines, best presentation to day.

Scores after the break.

Maks says moving forward it won't happen again.

8~8~8 24 out of 30

"About Maks"

Bartfan(AKA Sagebrushsweetie) sez:
Is it me or does Maks seem a little MORE stressed, than usual? What explains increasingly angry outbursts with recent weight reducing and bulking up. Is he taking steroids? He seems fixated on turning a flabby east European physique into Malibu Ken.

You and Bartfan may be on to something. I thought she handled him very well (especially with her comment that he is very good at making himself look bad). She is winning me over.

Dancing the Viennese Waltz.

Feel they need to step it up, having some problems in rehersal with a move, but she wants to get back on the bike.

Dancing to Kathleen.

Len. I'm not saying a word, not about this, Tom says to work out personal problems later. Lots in hold, plenty of content, didn't like the spinny thing, the rest was terrific.

B. Upstairs downstairs, your technique is superb, your placement and frame. Lost it a bit on the way up from the spin, just a little bit.

CA. Lines are gorgeous, everyone is at risk, weren't on your footing. BOOOS can't hear anything. Judges arguing.

Scores after the break.

8~9~9 Len stared at CA before showing his vote 26/30

Dance duel two times in a row. Dancing the fox trot. Grandmothers stopped by.

Sweet Pea.

That was cute.

Bruno. Sweetest of sweethearts, no jerkiness, hold was superb, lines so clean. Side to side like watching a young Mickey Rooney.

CA. Grannies did he make you proud. You made us proud. So proud of you.

Len, two little dancing munchkins. Good job.

Scores after the break.

Dancing the Fox Trot.
Brought her birthday flowers. Doesn't like all the rules of ballroom dance.

Paris background. Stray Cat Strut

Nice job, nothing spectacular, but a good job.

CA. Meow Meow. That was like a super hot sexy Pink Panther, exquisite, bring these performances to life.

L. Care and Flair, I liked it.

B. Heartbreaker, couldn't be more debonair and suave if you tried, I hate you even more.

Scores: 10~10~10 30/30 I really didn't think that was the best of the night, but what do I know.

He ain't ready to see Jimmy.

Rip It Up.

That was fun, did some fun moves, lots of energy.

L. Fun Fun Fun I liked it. Good job.

B. So hard keeping in sync in a threesome, handled it beautifully, keeping up with these two firecrackers is tough.

CA. Never missed a step, I loved your three-way.

Scores after the break.

10~9~9 28 out of 30 55/60 Ballroom boos.

I thought this would definitely be 10s across the board. He was in sync with the both of them and that ending...WOW!! Now THAT'S entertainment!!!

Disappointed once again with the judges...

Agree with you there...don't know what Bruno and Len were watching but that dance was a 10 for sure!

Donald was robbed! If that didn't deserve a perfect score, I don't know what does!

Dancing the Samba. Adding in some Bollywood because of the music.

Indian background to the dance.

Mama Do The Hump

That was good, and kind of interesting, but not spectacular.

B. Maria goes to Bollywood. Creatively kept you at the center of attention. Lost timing a couple of times. As a number fabulous.

CA. As a number, incredible, perfectly in sync as bookends. Feast for my Asian senses.

Len. This is a 10 as a Bollywood, no connection with a Samba.

Get scores after the break.

Dancing the Samba.

Dancing between two brothers, tosses out the pillows.

Dancing to Hard To Handle.

Not doing as much in trio as the others. I wanted to see the two boys more.

Sexy Half Pint says Tom.

CA. Cream filling in the middle of a sandwich. Give it all, what a difference a day makes

Len you best dance.

B. Melissa or Miss Rita Hayworth, takes two to get the best of you.

9~9~9 27/30 51/60

Where did that come from Half Pint? That was really good.

I think the half pint fermented a bit, that was definitely an adult beverage.

Good to "see" you!

Dancing the Cha Cha Cha.

Mark likes having a bit of a break with the trio.

With all the accents, hope the dance will do the talking.

She's A Lady.

Her pull off pants stuck on her foot, finally able to kick it off.

Len. That wardroby thing, clean and clear.

B. To catch a thief, sexy and cool. A modern feel, Hitchcock blonde coolness.

CA. Last time lacking fire, bring on the fire. You came out like you owned that and dancing with the pant stuck and not missing a beat.

Scores after the break:

They lost the key for the handcuffs.

Sasha says he's never lost anything ever.

Showing Roshon a lot of moves.

Turn Me On.

Also did the Duo for apart of the song thing.

B. Strength, beautiful Spanish lines, a few moments when I couldn't tell you apart, but lost sync a few time.

CA. Conflicted, love the strategy, you went off a few time.

Len. Like two skiny fries chasing the Ketchup. Tight buttocks, I love that.

Tom says Len just had a happy meal.

Scores.

9~9~9 27/30 56/60 highest score of the night so far.

"William and Cheryl and Tony"
Posted by Snidget on 05-07-12 at 09:58 PM
Dancing the Paso Doble.

Wants William to hold his own next to a professional.

Instrumenta (could be from some Zorro type of thing given the costumes).

Nicely done, like some of the interplay with the two guys.

CA. Can't here her, says the word Trio a lot. The lines were incredible, learned something from Tony, matched perfectly except for ones, insanely fun to watch.

Len. I salute you, fabulous job, great mix of steps together and apart.

B. There can be only one between the two raging bulls. Used Cheryl like a cape, lost sync.

Scores: 9~9~9 27/30 57/60, highest score of the night so far.
