Hi. Let me introduce myself. My name is Hatched, and I have been spawned from an avid SB poster and spoiler, disgusted and disenfranchised by Shakes ridiculous attempt to rule the world (or this small one as a launching pad). After 2 weeks of misery following the casting announcements – my bones rattling, my broken heart howling out to the heavens or anyone who would listen, my soul crushed to the core, my very bowls dead – the dirge of solitude, the Hamlet of my consciousness thoroughly unpregnant of cause ….. UNTIL NOW!

Reborn I am, with a purpose more potent than creating a silly internet game show. My goal, every essence of my being, is now focused on one thing and one thing only: to destroy the clown. No longer will I play the SB game of patting the sad, insecure clown on the back, overlooking his flaws, attempting to see the poor lost child behind his many tirades. No, no. Now I see with new eyes the truth behind the clown and his game. Call me the Mole, call me Stacey Stillman, call me an angry queer, call me Dateline NBC, or, if you would be so kind…… just call me Hatched.

Let me begin by taking note of the two lamentable failings of Shakesvivor before it has even begun.

1) First and foremost, it is appalling that the good name of Superman has been defiled by his willing participation in Shakesvivor. Superheroes don’t play silly games. Until now. What a sad day this is!

2) Overall casting. I was oh-so-close (in my previous identity) to suggesting that Shakes use a woman to assist in the casting, which of course would have fashioned a balanced, interesting cast. Instead what we have is the Shakes fan club – a combination of “Good Old Boys” and “Chicks,” about as balanced as a Keith Famie meal. While many members will be great on the cast, they are of the same mold, and will thus be snoozers as a group (with a few exceptions to be discussed in future posts). What Shakes possesses in clever writing technique, he lacks in big picture visionary savvy.

(Feel free to add to the list in this thread).

So that we are not all thoroughly bored in the off-season, I'd like to invite others to join me in BASHING this game, if you can call it that. Many of you have mentioned that you are feeling blown-off, not a part of, and disenfranchised by Shakes' negligence. I say, STAND UP, FIGHT THE POWER, and let's have some fun ripping this thing apart every week.

Come S3, I'll go back to my same old sad spoiler self......until then, Let the games begin!

Kis you crack me up! What the hell, count me in. I can't say that I've felt "blown off" by the Shucksvivor thing, but I can say that I've been bored with the amount of topics that are only about the game. So, we make our own new topics and in the meantime bash away!

First of all, let me introduce myself. I have been watching in the shadows of this board since S2, and have decided to throw my hat into the ring of posters.

I have been a big fan of Shakes since his days working Vaudville with his now defunct partner, Emo the frog faced boy. However this recent foray into "reality television" is a big mistake. If I thought he could handle it with the honor and dignity due such a respected genre, I could keep silent. But I can't.

So I say, rip it to shreads. Tear him a new one. Don't stop flaming until he is reduced to ashes with nothing more than a fire retardant wig and the smell of burnt grease paint remains wafting through the air.

Man this is gonna be fun.

Couple of points here:

#1 Never. And I repeat, never give a clown a chance. I learned that lesson the hard way, and it cost me the love of my life, and the vision in my left eye for twenty-four hours. Someday I might tell that story but for now...

#2 Yes. We want to see clowns hurt. One might even go so far as to say that the entire purpose of a clown is to see them hurt. How many people would go to a circus to see clowns playing nice and hugging one another all of the time (I mean outside of clown porn)?

Shakes has minions? Do they all ride in the same car? I read in the interview that he had a thing for midgets. A crazed clown with a herd of midget minions...I think there is a blockbuster movie script in there somewhere.

No, Rhino's horn isn't new. He picked up a strap-on edition from the Adam and Eve summer catalog. $14.99 plus shipping and handling.

Not that I was looking for one for myself...

And BTW, I've seen teh first 5 episodes.....can you say "YAWN"...the show sucks and I wouldn't be surprised if it is cancelled halfway through its run.

Soldiers: be aware these folks (cast-members) have been paid by Shakes to do everything within their power to divert any coupe attempts. They follow his orders to a tee, and no doubt these cast members have been advised to ruin our thread.

Stay the course! Our goal is: Bash the game, expose it's flaws.

We must patiently await the first episode for the real fun to begin. But in the meantime, small practice stabs can be taken - like that "horn bit" - nice one Pendragon.

And Hatched, we will be roasting a clown. I don't know about you, but I like my clown served with parsley potatoes and of course a big whip cream pie for dessert.

Hey Pendragon, I believe Camp Poopy Head is only a couple miles by foot from Camp Borneobores. Maybe we can go for a hike. Ya think the clown will be there? I was thinking we wouldn't be roasting for months, but maybe I was wrong. With clown, I'd have to say I prefer rice, white rice, and perhaps some beef jerky as an appetizer.

Wow. Since this is my first time posting, I guess I have alot to learn about the regulars. I didn't know you were into such things Rhino. I hate to admit it, but I thought the Rhino suit was just an eccentricity, not a full-fledged fetish.

Sorry big guy, but what I was talking about was how fat kids in school would get dogpiled by classmates because they thought it was funny to see us cry.

That's all we want. we want to see the clown cry. Is that so much to ask?

I can't wait to see the clown crying big, black, mascara running down his cheeks tears. And if you want to lump yourself in with the Devil Clown, be my guest, but I think the dogpile is gonna get big and there is ample room for a big guy in a rhino suit.

Ok. Count me in. I just read Cher's thread.....very good points by all. Sure, I questioned Shakes casting at first, but we know what he goes for.....mockable characters, lesbian opportunities, evil.

Perhaps, despite Shakes' very mean introductions of cast members, not being cast was a compliment of sorts.

I'm looking forward to the summaries, and like a good spoiler, I can't wait to point out all of their flaws.

But like Lisa and Misto have said.....let's be nice (well, as nice as Shakes is) and have fun.

Yeah, it's always good to have a benchmark... Trying to stay above the "niceness" level of, say, Benito Mussolini, sounds about right.

I'm just thrilled and delighted to see so many SB persons
of such intelligence and humor gathered here to "do whatever
it takes" to spoil, bash and generally tear the glitz and
glamour away from the dirth of "reality teevee".

The Bent Dragon fella seems pretty determined....WTG!!

However....word to the wise "Hatched" is a trouble maker!!
Oh yes, don't say you weren't warned.....Dickque wantabees
have always resented the Clown; or is that "resembled" the
Clown....anywhoo, I only stopped in cause Zap2it reported
that you guys and gals were dumping on the CAST members!!!

But now that I see it's only Shakes....hey; have fun!!!
And, YES, it does kind of suck big time that the ones chosen
to be IN the Shakesvivor Show are the "unlucky" bunch!!!
(I mean if I have to hear one more "Smile dammit; you're
on camera."...I'll implode! Now I know why LisLis cried
so darn much!!!)

Well, just when I was starting to have bad childhood memories of not being allowed to join in the reindeer games, I find a group of bashers to join. Woohoo! And judging from the size of Pendragon's...ahem...flame...I think I'll end up on the list of swooning females too. ;)
