From the April 24-30 TV Guide:
Palmer returns as an advisor to President Logan. He aligns himself with Jack. But Palmer will have to watch his back as assassin Mandy shows up at season's end. Jack discovers a Chinese national named Cheng (Tzi Ma) is calling the shots with Marwan. Jack tracks Cheng down to the Chinese consulate, breaks in and the counsel general is killed. Ouch! Jack then must decide when Paul and a vital witness both need surgery and only one surgeon is available at CTU. Guess who he picks? Jack and Audrey's relationship ends up in turmoil. Also Reiko Aylesworth lets it slip that her character Michelle Dessler may commit suicide but she doesn't know for sure.

Why on earth would Michelle commit suicide? Even if Tony were to die, I don't think she would do that.

It will be interesting to see how the writers come up with a motivation for her character.

I think storyline makes sense. If Michelle is taken hostage again, she will sacrifice herself before Tony does anything to save her. It will be fitting and tragic. Love it!

I orginally thought Michelle was at risk because of Reiko's comments about her character "comitting suicide".

I now think (hidden text)...
this refers to the fact that Tony will be killed and Michelle will be very upset- i.e. so upset she wants to kill herself.
