"For Love or Money / Forget the love..now it's just down to money"

Posted by Hunterr on 06-11-03 at 00:21 AM

My wife was watching last nights show with me and commented, " Wait...is some kind of a sick joke. This guy has is foot on this womans butt and treating these women like they are some kind of harem. Where did they get this jerk?"

Then came his pathetic apology. Attributing his behavior to the fact that he had trouble getting dates in high school. What a putz. And then we read this story about the incident in the military.

He sure made it easy for the girls to decide between..love and money. No suspense about the ending of this one

I agree with you....the guy is a putz. At first I thought it was a cruel thing to do to a guy on national tv...but he already humiliated himself after last nights episode and the military situation. I wouldn't be surprised if the winner does choose the money instead of love, I know i would over that guy.

I'll go you one further: The timing of the announcement of his military problems coincides so closely with the episode showing him to be a complete jerk (literally, the morning after), that one has wonder if he was choses because of his past, and the whole being a jerk thing is part of the producers' plan.

Last week, we were led to think that the girls are full of avarice for wanting the money; this week we're shown that the money is the better of the two... next week? Perhaps someone will come to want to be with him for love and not money?!?!

>complete jerk (literally, the morning
>after)

Actually, that's incorrect, the story hit the wires Monday morning. The episode aired that same evening.

Ooops, my bad. I really didn't see them until the morning after.

But my point is still the same: the timing is verrry coincidental. And not that I'm a conspiracy theorist or anything , but the coincidence is verrry suspect.

As this show goes on, I am more and more surprised this guy is a successful attorney. He's such an idiot, and also with thesmokinggun.com's expose of his ejection from the military after sexually assaulting a female officer... goes to show, he's done the whole "mack-daddy stud" act before.

How does his one apology make it okay to all the girls. Oh well, I hope he ends up with Kelly because I really can't stand her, and he totally deserves her.

I hate to say this, but I'm starting to doubt also that he IS a successful attorney. Wonder if the show actually researched THAT! From what I've seen and heard of this loser, he has a drinking problem, he has NO command of the English language, he mutters when he speaks and he doesn't seem to have much of an IQ. Now I know that there are lots of jokes about lawyers, but really..I would think that someone with the above traits wouldn't be that successful in the legal world. The attorney on Mr. Personality was a real ass, but at least he seemed intelligent. This guy has absolutely nothing going for him but his face, and that could use a razor. I mean, grow a beard or shave, this 5 o'clock shadow thing is getting on my nerves.

I wonder what this guy will do for a job. Now this is aftr the fact of the chosen one. It would be interesting to see the outcome after the final show. I'm sure the media will be after him for interviews, etc. I just wonder just how much the producers really knew before this show aired. You can never tell what these producers will do for ratings.

If he's been fired from his firm...

And his secrets have been revealed...

It's obvious what he's going to pursue...

He's going to be a stay-at-home actor!

Ya, we reported on his firing earlier this afternoon:

http://www.realitytvworld.com/forloveormoney/

He was an independent contractor who "maintained an office" with them. Honestly, the firm only lists two lawyers on their firm profile page and sounds like a pretty small shop.

Personally, I wouldn't term him a "successful" lawyer.

Drive My Car

Thanks for the welcome...also to other responders.

I've bounced around the reality show forums circuit and am very pleased with the quality of your site.

I'm happy to see that you have intelligent, interesting posters with a sense of humor.

Half the fun is watching the absurd behavior of some of the contestants. Makes us feel better about some of the dumb things we do.
